After letting office know of some issues in room everything was brilliant. Great service loved the very old building.

We stopped a night here between Phillip Island and GOR. Great stay, staff all lovely. Room nice and spacious, bathroom also big. Beds really comfy. Area, you’re on a main road so nowhere really to walk to eat so we ate on site which was ok for one night. Breakfast in morning is pre-packaged continental but there is a toaster so nice to make own fresh toast plus we were offered individually made coffees which was a nice touch. Would recommend.

Booked a double Queen room. It was clean, spacious and had very comfortable beds. The room included a table and a sitting chair as well as access to a balcony. Friendly staff and very pleasant continental breakfast included. Close to a train station and local shops.

Family friendly accommodation! I traveled with my two kids - 5yrs and 7mth olds, it was comfortable and convenient.

I always stay at the Settlement when I come to Melbourne so I have stayed quite a few times. Perfect as always. I feel safe being there as a single woman being by myself. My only issue today was I forgot to say in my booking I have a disability so I couldn't have the shower over the bath. Completely my fault there but let me tell you the bath looked amazing and I was longing for a nice soak in the tub. Oh well Gosh I love this place.

Beautiful

It may be a little dated for some but we loved it. Big rooms, clean and central to everything just a quick drive to cranbournne shopping centre. Lots of places to eat close by but they have a bistro. Continental breakfast was free and just what we needed to fuel up before heading out.

Absolutely stunning accommodation and wonderful service. We stayed for two nights for Maccas Casey Cup soccer tournament and we had the best experience here. We had a twin King and Queen bed room and it was perfectly appointed, clean, well equipped, and spacious. The beds were SO comfortable! The heritage nature of the hotel has been beautifully maintained. Helen and Jenni on reception were delightful and went over and above to make our stay comfortable and accessible, especially for one of our party, who had knee issues. They ensured we had a walk-in shower and selected a ground floor garden room, close to the entry. The onsite bistro had amazing meals and the service was exemplary. The cafe was also great to have a glass or two of wine in the evening and complimentary continental breakfast. The location was a short, 8-10 minute distance from both tournament locations, Casey Fields and Inez Hunter (Selandra) reserve. Lots of onsite parking too. Being a heritage venue, the power points are located close to the ground, so recommend you bring a plug in adaptor. Highly recommend and will definitely return. Thank you 😊

We arrived at this motel to ask if we could get our room early because my wife was feeling unwell at 11.30am and needing to go to bed …. was told in no uncertain terms 2pm was it … Arrived at 2pm and was given key to our room, no directions other than to go to car park ( would have been nice to be given direction there was another door to get back up to the reception/ bistro etc from a stairwell at end of rooms ) … the room was bigger than most which was a surprise …. Very disappointed with no freezer in the fridge to keep something frozen for my wife… had to go to cafe to get a wheat bag heated for her no microwave in the room and went to the cafe this was accepted the first time I asked but second time was frowned upon( like why do you ask for this) Then we went to dinner in the bistro …. My wife ordered the mustard chicken salad …. Mmmm well $26 for what 5 chicken strips crumbed on the most basic salad I can make at home for less than $8 …. And mustard dressing with really no taste …. We were from interstate and will never return, was only one night but the service was very unfriendly at front and cafe …. Bistro was good other than the food

A good place to meet with friends for lunch , dinner or just for a drink or cake and coffee. A lovely ambience here and always a pleasure to visit. I have never had a bad meal here and cannot wait to revisit very soon and will be making plans in the next couple of days to take a trip here again

It was very good value, super clean, large room and bathroom so above expectations there. It really excelled with excellent customer service, a complementary continental breakfast, and well priced, very good food served really quickly. We ended up eating there every night as it was the best place around.

The rooms were lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable. It was also very quiet, given the busy road and pub nearby. The bathroom is large and well laid out. There is a balcony and a comfy couch. There were tissues - and nice toiletries. The shower had decent water pressure. |We had dinner in the bistro with family, and the staff were outstanding. The food was great. It was a great place to stay .

Friendly bar and restaurant. Large family re union and were able to accommodate an ever increasing booking for dinner in the restaurant. Pizza in the bar with those wood smoke pizza oven smells....,yum.

Quiet, homely, clean, and with sense of luxuriousness. Beds were so comfortable, shower and bathroom sparkling, and accommodation was quiet, spacious, with balconies to sit privately outside. Close to amenities.

Every person very polite

Large rooms, very nicely appointed, large comfy beds, great service, helpful and attentive staff. The general amenities in the hotel are excellent. We had a cooked breakfast included which was yummy. The only thing I would say is that the cooked breakfast menu could have some variation. The continental breakfast which is included is also excellent.

A well presented room-but could do with updating. I was told l was entitled to a continental breakfast and all l got was toast and and a choice of Vegemite or peanut butter.

Nice room, but horrible sound proofing You can pretty much hear everything that your neighbors talk about, what TV channel they are watching and that's very annoying. We had some relatively loud neighbour's but other than talk a lot and excited, they didn't do anything wrong really, it is the sound isolation that I blame, it is what we call paper walls We tried to change the room but they said all the rooms were fully booked If you are hoping foe a good night sleep/you are a light sleeper, it might be better to look for another place

Everything was so clean,comfortable and a lovley atmosphere. The staff in all areas reception,restraunt (especially Jenni ) were all so happy,friendly, helpful, this is my second stay and I'll be back Thank you

Great location, lovely old Victorian building, clean modern rooms with heaps of space. The Bistro is very handy for meals and the bar area cosy for a quick feed.

Very nice and quiet place. Beautiful decor for the rooms and very spacious. They also have a bistro, all day cafe, and gaming room. Bottle shop around the corner.

Charming building and room. Fairly clean but a bit of mould and soap scum in the bath. Bed looks great but the squeaking every time hubby or I moved prevented a decent night sleep; I'm exhausted. Staff so far have been really lovely.

This place was amazing! It actually reminded me of The Langham!||Decor is getting a bit dated but its still quite luxurious and comfortable.||We ate at their inhouse restaurant which was a pleasant experience.||I highly recommend this motel.

We often have to stay overnight when working late with weddings. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms are always clean and comfortable!

Great place! We really enjoyed staying over there. Style of the hotel gave a good sense of old fashion and also clean. Cafe nice and fire wood pizza was the best!

My stay here was in a King room with a bath. On arrival, check-in was simple, I was directed to my room & told where I could park my car. The room was spotlessly clean with the air con set to a comfortable 22C. The bed was as comfortable as a strange bed can be & I can say I had a good night sleep. You have the choice of taking your complimentary continental breakfast in the dining room from 7am, or you can pay $5 to enjoy.it in your room. I chose the dining room & paid extra for a cappuccino to.wash down my Eggs Benedict ($15).

Beautiful clean room, with comfy bed and quality linens, quality amenities, safe parking and a great restaurant onsite. The staff were efficient and helpful, right from the manager to the front desk staff and everyone in the restaurant and cafe. The housekeeping girls were a delight and extremely good at their job, the room was spotless. I would highly recommend The Terrace as I personally found it to be a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Thanks to everyone at the Terrace.

The room is an okay size although for what you are paying I would have thought it would be a little bigger. The bathroom is a little outdated and there was an old smell about the room which needs to be fixed as we kept the door to the outside open all night. Comfortable but needs updating.

Two people deluxe king. Had to buy airfreshner/glen twenty old smelly. Breakfast is not worth the price you pay in staying there. Was charched another payment day after leaving there, very disappointed unnecessary issue to sort out.manager Alina finally could give us some satisfaction problems with banks🤔 still not good enough to have money go again for a one night stay after leaving, took three days to go back in what a hassle to go through only stayed in cranbourne for medical reasons! Credit card deposits/credit card payments will avoid now staying in accommodation Will not stay here again either, better off sleeping in our car for cranbourne anyways.

My fiance and I stayed here for 11 nights during the lead up to Christmas. ||The staff were excellent, the room was great, price was reasonable, food was fantastic. Wheelchair accessible. Book early and enjoy.

Feb 2018 - could not get wifi in the room. Apparently upgrading the system - but I couldn't see any progress. Not a fan of the free breakfast. Rooms are clean and large, and air conditioned. Bed was good. Not great value for money.
