I have shopped here before and knowing how busy it can get, I went in reasonably early in one of their least busy times. Nevertherless, I could not get anyone to serve me and after requesting help and not getting it I left after 20 minutes of waiting and went down the road to Good Guys for my purchase. Perhaps, from the Customer Service point of view, there is an understaffing problem at this store. When a busy retail assistant tells you they will get someone to attend to you and nothing happens, it is disappointing. I guess they have enough business not to worry about a lost sale.

Between Ash, one of the managers, who was super helpful with a previous purchase, through to Adam and his expertise with TV’s I cannot rate the friendly staff at JB Brighton more highly. Awesome bunch!
Avoid this place at all costs. The staff are rude and entirely unhelpful. If you do manage to get their attention, they make out as if it’s a massive burden to assist you. Was about to spend a grand there, now gladly spending it somewhere else.
Great service! Ashley helped us with my new phone and plan, she was so patient and efficient. After leaving a different store in Frankston being told I couldn't get what I wanted Ashley had no issues organising it for us. A real life saver!
Most of the staff were all generally quite nice and friendly except for this one lady who seemed like the manager. I asked her whereabouts I could find a product and she looked at me like I insulted her. Leg tattoo, glasses and shaved side of her head. Crack a smile love, you work in customer service

Was greeted at the door by Malissa who kindly showed us to the products we were after. She made our shopping experience pleasant and stress free, looking up information and organizing our pick up. We bought a EWTP11 portable air con, The air con is just like an old wall type one as in the noise generated but movable. We find it fantastic and a great addition whilst renovating. Comes with a window kit, doesn’t suit my type of window but I knew that, I have a wind out window, the kit is suited to a sliding or sash window. I will make a panel to suit and stop hot air blowing back in but works fine with the set up I have right now. Comes with a remote control, it swings the air also up and down with the flap on top. Cools down to 16 degrees and I’ve noticed a difference in the bedroom already. Highly recommend it and the staff member was great and easy to talk to.

Went at lunchtime, it was a little difficult to get help fast but was in and out within 20 minutes with a pad for the kids to watch.
Easy purchase, pleasant & professional attention from the sales person. That’s all you really want. 👍

Didn't have a lot of the Samsung case product
Did a click and collect which was very efficient. I had ordered the wrong generation of my product so I had to exchange it the next day. Both of the people who waited on me were friendly and efficient, even with the store packed for the Boxing Day sale.
Great Staff. Caring, understanding. Willing to go the extra yard, especially in the post sale, support phase. My Salutations to them.

I’ve had such a great experience purchasing from Yousuf. I recently bought a tv which was an amazing upgrade from my old Kogan tv that I’ve had for 5 years. I would never have bought the tv I bought without the guidance of Yousuf and using the tv for 3 weeks now I am so happy with my purchase. I bought other products like headphones, games and hair clippers, again with the guidance of Yousuf and I cannot believe the amount of care that was given to each product I needed to get. I will definitely be letting my friends know about this location specifically for Yousuf.

Went to buy a Ring doorbell. Was a bit peeved the sales person didn't tell me I need to buy a YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION as well of at least $50, otherwise the doorbell won't record and only one phone can be linked to the camera. Another customer had to teach me the difference between all the offerings.

Had to return to JB a few times over a couple of days due to issues with a laptop I’d purchased. What could have been very stressful was made completely tolerable due to the excellent staff all of whom were pleasant and polite and for whom nothing was too much. The store was so busy and they were all run off their feet yet maintained their fantastic attitudes. A special shoutout to Luke at the Brighton store who handled my multiple requests and issues with professionalism and patience. Best part is we found a solution in the end. I will happily purchase from JB Brighton in future.
Great that this store is now dog friendly! You can take your puppy into the store as you walk around looking for your piece of technology.

Great store. Had to wait a little as expected yet the sales guy was educated and had humour. At checkout the woman too was great and easy going. Got what I needed
I have just moved to a new house with my partner and been to JB Brighton for TV, and sound bar. A staff called John was extremilly helpful and honest with his opinions helping us between all brands and options. The service was that good we end up leaving JB with an extra microwave and airfryer as well. Highly recommended. A weekend before I was there for a washer and dryer and also had a extremilly helpful service by an Irish guy ( I forgot his name). Definitely my local JB from now on.

Amazing service! Chris is an absolute superstar!! We’ve travelled back twice to see him and the care and time he took with my 90 yr old Dad was exemplary! Resultantly, 1x wireless headphones, 2 x tv’s, 1x Dyson heater. Dad was so happy and Chris’ care and knowledge across every item was brilliant! He’s an asset in every way! Visited Brighton store to purchase westinghouse dryer 6.5 kg at $549 delivery fee $55 offered I ended up buying the same dryer online at stan cash for $506 free delivery saved $98 very happy 😊
Who doesn't love love love JB? Or is it just me? I typically go in for a USB drive or something, and walk out with a big-screen TV. Perhaps it is just me. The staff at the Brighton store are always excellent - helpful and very knowledgeable. Great place.
The staff were so helpful and the store had everything I needed (with price match)! I also liked their battery and phone recycling system, so easy. Onsite parking was another bonus, will be back again!

I’ve bought two laptops from that balding Greek guy now, believe his name is Liam? Both times the laptop has been broken and does not work. He also tried to take my laptop to download who knows what onto it.

I just moved to Melbourne and have never been to this store before now. My first day there I bought a fridge very easily. I had to ask for help and the gentlemen helped me and explained the delivery process, and the whole thing took about 15 minutes. But my second time I visited the store I had ordered a click and collect. I asked a lady at the counter who told me to wait there near the counter and that it would be brought out to me... I waited 15 minutes. I asked again, another lady told me to go to the door as its ready for me, so I waited at the 'staff only' doors, not sure which one to be at. Another 15 minutes, I asked a man coming out from the back, who said it wasn't his job and that he's not sure. I went back to ask again, and the lady said 'yes it's waiting for you, did you go to the door and ring the bell?' 'What door? There's two there and no one is talking to me idk where to go'. I said. 'Are you saying I have to go outside?' and she said yes, and I tell you I was furious. I wasted about 35 minutes of my time wondering around the store waiting because no one, not even the manager who saw me looking into the staff only, or the young gentleman who I asked, could tell me how to get my order or to go outside It really annoyed me and ruined the experience for me. They were polite, sure, but not very good communicators. You have to wonder around the store to find anyone to acknowledge you, and its a but frustrating.
Went in to buy a coffee machine. We were there 15 minutes waiting for someone to come and help us. Literally nobody was around … we walked around to see if anyone was available. No staff at all in the coffee maker/appliance section. So we left :)
Went to this store to collect my newly purchased laptop (that bought at Southland store). Staff member wouldn't give me my purchase despite showing receipt, ID & explaining that it had been put on hold and id been standing there when it was being organised between staff and locations. What should have been seemless process took nearly 40mins. Finally handed over my purchase and said they would call me if there was an issue with Southland store. I suggested that that was an internal issue and nothing to do with me.
Went in search of a laptop and was helped by Luke who was a superstar! He not only helped us find one that suited our needs but also one at a fabulous price. His knowledge and clear explanation of the features was much welcomed and gave us great confidence to proceed with the purchase. We ended up buying what he had recommended which was a higher spec than what we had intended but at the same price range.
I would like to thank Dylan for his wonderful personality in customer service! No words can rave how much I appreciate his help!

Quick and helpful service
Delivery cancelled with no notification or further communication until I rang to found out why, due to one product not being in stock. Not sure what would have happened if I didn’t call myself. Don’t expect your phone calls to be returned when you ring and enquire about the above because the staff will have gone home despite saying they will call you back asap. Payment for installation of a fridge will not include the plumbing side. I tried to express my disappointment and frustration at their terrible follow up customer service more subtlety and less publicly via their complaints avenue on their website but never heard back from that either. A 5/5 for in store customer service. A big fat zero out of 5 for follow up customer service. Thoroughly disappointed and not good enough.
The physical store is a bit lacklustre and tired looking but the range of products is good, prices competitive, and the staff are exceptionally helpful and seemingly knowledgeable. Convenient location -easy parking.

Visited the store to buy a TV on the weekend. Was served by Caroline, who very friendly and knowledgeable. Despite serving other customers, she was extremely attentive and helpful. Wish more sales staff were like her. Highly recommend.
Popped in to look at some ear phones, met the audio sales person Amanda. She was so knowledgeable and happy to help. With such great service I couldn’t help but buy them. I had looked at them 4 times to this point. Amanda was so pleasant I had to buy them! Great work! Thank you.

We went in to get an updated Tv for ourselves, we were helped by a staff called Caroline. She is an absolute keeper as a staff, so helping so polite. Even after helping us , she was all over the staff helping all that were waiting. She was helping more customers than any other 3 staff combined. Absolute super star. Big shout to her for her efforts. JB hi fi needs more like her .
