Stewart went above and beyond for me. He sold me a thunder bolt to hdmi. When I was trying to get my Mac book to connect to a hdmi and it wouldn’t work. He was able to do a system reboot on my Mac, it now works! Thank you!

Wow, Jaycar wow! I have been shopping here for many years and every time I have an issue they help me with the most patience and kindness. Recently, I bought a 3D printer from Jaycar and we had a few issues with it and we went back to Jaycar so they organised a man named 'Stewart' to take the printer and replace all the parts. Wow, Stewart what a man! He was so kind and a great help, he came and dropped the printer off when he was done and not only did he deliver it but he also showed us how to use it and gave us all sorts of helpful tips. Thank you Stewart you are a legend! Jaycar encouraged us to buy a different kind of printer, which was spectacular, it worked perfectly and it suited our needs the best. Thank you Jaycar and thank you Stewart!

Small store but reasonable stock of most items.

Staff were so helpful. Only took me 3 visits 😂 I’m usually really good with setting tv and recorders up but i couldn’t get my head around how to do with a amplified splitter. After a quick lesson 😜 l was able to get it all set up. Thank you 🙏

Really good place to buy camping stuff

Some of the staff are not that knowledgeable so I gave it a 4 star, but there’s on person there who’s just knows it all and a real pleasure to deal with. So worthwhile going and if you get stuck there’s always that person there to help. It’s just a pity they are not all good salespeople and knowledgeable

Nearby and husband couldn't leave area without popping in to Jaycar, not for anything in particular, just to have a look. Jaycar has a lot of interesting, what I would call, educational toys and along with all the electrical stuff you could imagine, they had retro style tape-decks (I'm loathe to say it's old name).

They got the gear if you know what you are after. Discreet components or kits. I was after some specialised audio cables. They were in stock and at a good price. They have lots of kits. I would suggest parents could find a nice kit for their youngsters.

Thanks to Stewart for Excellent Customer Service. Setting up a digital timer has caused me no end of stress. Stewart has shown me the Jaycar digital option and offered to set it while I'm in the store. Got it home and it worked exactly as I wanted. I've thrown the HPM Model in the bin where it belongs. I cam to pickup items from counter for click and collect customer service very poor and rude not happy with customer service.

Good store, little small, the old guy is a bit of a wet mop, other than that. I would shop at the springvale store first, the staff at the springvale one are outstanding

The team was helpful. Managed to answer all my questions. Quickly prepared what I was looking for. In and out as it should be. Even had enough time to browse through all the Christmas offerings. Good and well stocked shop.

Update: store has a much improved layout, which puts the little bits and connectors etc front and centre in new easy-to-hunt-through racks - perfect for most of what I head to Jaycar in person for! Staff have good knowledge of the store, and have been able to help me out with all but my most obscure questions!

I've always said that Jaycar is my favourite store and today it's even more so! I just returned quite an expensive item to their Brighton Store that I bought but didn't need, with absolutely no stress at all. The staff at Jaycar are the best. They know their stuff and are always super helpful. I don't usually review on Google but this time I made myself take the time to do it, as they were just so damn nice about it.

Excellent help from the young guy who served me today (helping me find the soldering aids I was chasing) Back at Jaycar East Brighton today, 16 Mar 22. Was only purchasing a clue of bucks worth of resistors but the guy who served me couldn't have been more helpful making sure I was buying the correct values

The staff were more than happy to answer, explain and help me find all the ‘odd’ items I needed for my projects, despite it being past closing time. Thanks again, fellas!!

I was in the area and needed to pickup a car charger to charge my camera batteries while driving. I checked on the website and found the product I was after. I called the store briefly before hand to check if the item was in stock, and thanks heavens, it was! The team was really friendly and directed me to the product once I had arrived. There was a small drone that was on sale so I picked they up too!

Stewart was exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable.

I was very happy with the customer service I received from Stewart over the phone today. I urgently needed a new power cord for my monitor. I couldn’t find it online, but as soon as I explained my issue to Stewart, he knew exactly which power cord and connection I needed. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and took the time to explain how to order online to organise click and collect during lockdown.

If you need something the same day, they’ve got a very good selection, but all at a premium, and products don’t exactly command that premium. A better deal can near always been found on eBay if you can wait for shipping

When this app stops losing text I'll give a proper review. Store okay, returns policy still in 20th century, some rubbish, poorly selected items.

I have been purchasing products from this Jaycar store for some time now. I would like to thank Trent for his customer service, knowledge and expertise on all the products. I managed to get my head around wiring up a AUX dual battery system to my car with some further help and advice from Trent and the products. Great team and store. These guys are awesome. Brought my old sonos speaker down to them and they made it Bluetooth compatible, and got it working with my iPhone. Fantastic!

Our car broke down on the way to an event in a really unsafe spot on Nepean highway and Jaycar was the closest store in which we could get some help. We simply asked if we could please use their car park once we had already found a team of people around the street to help push the car off the main road. The boss/manager at Jaycar was rude, extremely inconsiderate and showed a complete lack of empathy as he was firm that we were not welcome at all to safely leave our car there as we were not customers at the store. He told us he would get our car towed away immediately if we were to leave it there (as i am writing this, it is a quiet sunday and there is literally only 1 other car in the carpark). It is very disappointing that we were treated with such appalling customer service in a dangerous situation. If you want above and beyond friendly and supportive customer service I would definitely recommend trying your chances at Jaycar Electronics in Cheltenham instead!!

First Jaycar I have been to in a while where the staff had a great understanding of electronic components

I go to Jaycar's a lot but next time i'll drive further to avoid this one. Went to the store last week and the staff members seemed annoyed by me walking in and interrupting their conversation. When I asked the younger staff member if they had a specific adapter (Which was on their site and showing as in stock) he just said 'Cant really help you with that one'. I have up talking to him and went to the manager instead, who helped me somewhat but seemed annoyed at me asking him anything. After I found what I wanted I asked if he had an RJ45 barrel, and he seemed like he either didnt know what it was which would be concerning or that I shouldnt have asked him because it would take effort for him to show me. Overall the worst Jaycar experience ive ever had, im not sure how they function.

Great service from the store manager, Theodore. Went out of his way to help me buy the right products and his product knowledge was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.

Needed to make a < $5 purchase. Only had a $50 note on me. Staff member refused to complete the transaction, as it would wipe out his till. I walked out empty-handed and will not be returning. Pretty poor, in my opinion...

I honestly thought the terrible service and lack of basic customer interaction skills may have been isolated to my local jaycar. I was happy to discover yesterday it’s apparently store wide with Jaycar. I’m not sure who trains these human like robots and sends them out into the field but you’re doing an exceptional job. I was ignored for a good 10mins then told “we don’t have that part” with only a very brief look....then the guy just turned his back and disappeared like a fart in the wind.

Absolute daylight robbery. OK~~ quality Chinese products re-branded and price quadrupled(or more). Doesn't stock the well known brands because they can't get you with the insane markups. I don't mind paying a bit extra to have stuff local rather than wait a few days from ebay or ail-express but this place is a joke. crappy return policies. $5 minimum. I need parts almost every day for CCTV/Computer repair type stuff but after leaving this place feeling so ripped off every time I've decided not to support this anymore as this company does not support us.
