Second time staying here. Good location. Very clean. Modern fixtures. Free water and softdrink in the fridge. Free cereal pack. Free drinks card for the bar and 10% off for dining in. These guys have got it right.

The service in this place is crap and thats coming from the accomodation manager. We had booked a room for the wrong night human error and she was the least interested in helping me out in changing it for another night and paying the difference. We book this hotel ever 3months and had been doing it for years. I have left a copy of her customer service skills via email. Here it is all about the revenue and not the customer. Victoria was so professional she told me to take my business elsewhere. Such a shame these tupe of people are running a service

It's a great place for any type of celebration. Plenty of parking, the food well priced, and a reasonable menu for any pocket.

I stayed at this place for one night and everything went smoothly. The bedroom I had was comfy and pillow was not too soft and just right. The aircon and water pressure all work perfectly. They gave you free drinks as well. I’ll definitely coming back if I need to stay somewhere in this area

Everything about the hotel is great, Until the point during the last few days of me staying for a week, I got very startled from a stranger being able to unlock my door, the receptionist happen to give him a key card (room 23 if we want to be specific)assuming that the room was available. Had I not been in the room, someone would've thought it's free and made themselves home or walk in on me while I'm asleep. Did not feel safe anymore for the rest of the days with that thought. (Update: Just want to add as well after chasing this up they were very dismissive about my claims, Good to know the cameras they have around the place is just there for decorations I guess)

Once again, another great meal. Excellent service Affordable prices.

Was not happy with my chicken Switzel with chips and salad. The menu was not that great.

Monday steak night

The location is great for the Holmsglen private hospital. The staff are wonderful and very efficient and helpful. On-site bistro service was great. The only negative feedback was the spider webs on the ceiling and walls. And although it was clean at eye level down. You need to look up occasionally.

Was on a business trip to Moorabbin so I decided to book 2 nights here due to its location being very close to where I needed to be. Other than that there's not much in that area. Accomodation: Room was nice and clean. Simple set-up, nothing fancy but cozy and comfortable. The receptionist Victoria was very nice and helpful. She even offered me a plug adapter since mine isn't compatible with the local power outlet.(I'm not from Australia) Food & drinks: Sandbelt restaurant offers great food, drinks, and entertainment, all at very reasonable price. They even offer 10% off to hotel guests when dining there. My first day I was served by Sandra, very nice & attentive lady. Second day the server was a guy with longer wave-vy hair (Jack, I think), wasn't very friendly...

The beer is good. Usually a special every week. Comfortable couch/hairs to watch any sport. Huge screensAsked staff member to change channel to what we wanted to watch and was not a problem. Downside it is right next to pokies, so can be some distraction. However there is another area, sportsbat to watch.

The Hotel rooms are always tidy with white linen which I appreciate, but the rooms need some maintenance with regards to paint and some other small details.

We booked the family room, nice and spacious, clean linen, the bathroom was clean and modern with strong pressure in the shower 👍. The building is a bit dated, but all the furnishings and decor are new. Great location for easy access to everywhere you need to go.

Please beware before staying at this hotel, Had a very unpleasant experience in particularly with Victoria. Not only is she rude and unprofessional she will also without explanation keep your bond from you. I had a week stay with sandbelt nightcap with the first 3 nights being in room 7 (one bedroom apartment) i extended my stay and moved to room 6 which is a smaller room. i re booked again for another 2 nights in room 3. I was accused of smoking drugs in room 7 after further discussion with Victoria i was told they do not in fact have evidence of this they are simply going of the accusations. I have several screenshot of the several attempts i tried to make in calling this property in regards to my bond and was always told i would receive a call back in which i never did. i have obtained a copy of bloods which in fact shows no drugs in myself or my partners bloods and was more than happy to provide this to the property however Victoria was very rude and unprofessional over the phone so for this reason i will be taking this matter further as you simply cannot accuse someone without proof 😊

Very impressed, with a modern bathroom, the shower was amazing with plenty of hot water and pressure. Got a free drink in the bistro with 10% off my meal which was also pretty good. Will definitely stay here again.

Great value for money motel in Melbourne’s south. The rooms were very, very clean, new bathroom and nice furniture. I love the retro feel of the site. 👍 ALL the staff I encountered were very friendly & helpful and the food was amazing. Highly recommend. Thank you.

I would like to share my very recent experience, I came to Melbourne with my entire family to attend an important event. I forgot a bag which had some medicines and a valuable stuff. Out of Panic i sent an email to admin and requested to check the room. Within few hours I received an email from Victoria with a confirmation of bag and a offer to send the bag to me!! I have no words to describe how I felt with the gesture. On top of this, room have very comfortable beds & excellent room services. I would surely like to come back..

Nice place except when I checked in my room smelled like cigarettes even though it was a smoke free hotel. Other than that pretty good place for a night, a suggestion is maybe some cooking equipment no microwave or oven or plats or cutlery.

Just great if you need somewhere to stay for a day or two. Simple, to the point and confi.

Not a busy day yet still seemed understaffed

I have been visiting this bistro weekly but i do not remember having a good meal. My chicken schnitzel is has been cooked crispy and hard to even cut. I have ordered fish and it was over cooked and fishy. Calamari that tasted like rubber and faveolus mashed potato. I have ordered one thing and got something else||I really don't i have visited a place where the food is ordinary and management doesn't care when you tell them ||

I've eaten a lot of chicken parmigiana's in my time but on saturday night I had one of the best, most succulent, freshest, mouth-watering delicious parma's I have ever eaten. I was in heaven. The food is always top notch at this bistro and the staff are always friendly and pleasant. Oh did I mention they have beer specials every week. 10/10.

The management is so bad, and the coffee pack is over time.

Stayed at plenty of nightcaps before. The staff are lovely and welcoming. Rooms are clean and tidy and it’s great to have a pub within reach!

Comfortable bed and great high pressure shower. They dealt with my late check-in very gracefully and kept my room neat as a pin.

I had a good overnight stay here. No complaints about the bed and the bathroom is really nice. You get 10% off the Sandbelt bistro which is fantastic. Heads up, you need to go through Bignell Rd to check in. The bistro staff are nice about redirecting you from 630 South Rd to around the corner to where reception is. It'll be helpful to have a sign (or maybe there is but I missed it) explaining that. A $100 bond is required (I didn't get that memo) when checking in. The only comment I would make about sleeping there is that you may need to bring eyemask and earplugs. The curtains are quite see-through so car headlights shine through the windows very strongly at night. Noise also comes through very easily especially as the design of the place is motel-style where anyone can just walk off the road, through the parking lot, and knock on your door. So if you're looking for a place to stay which is an enclosed building where people have to pass through reception then this isn't the place. I'm happy with my experience. The hospitality of the staff is great.

Took a quick minute to find as the hotel is around the corner from the bar, but the place was great! Very clean, excellent staff! Will stop by here next time!

Cozy

Came in from the Country to attend a local Hospital.||Was amazed at the presentation and cleanliness of the place. Only stayed 2 nites and unfortunately, not able to try the Restaurant.||Certainly will if I’m in the area again

Stayed 1 night unexpectedly when other accommodation booked elsewhere nearby fell through at the last minute. Checked in after hours with no fuss, with Jordan who was professional but friendly. Room 9 where I stayed was compact, but faultless…..one of the best motel style rooms I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel a lot, here and overseas. Spotlessly clean, modern furnishings, hot water with rainhead shower, full length mirror, quiet split system aircon, big tv, comfy bed, super quiet location, continental breakfast included….all for $139! WOW!

I visit the Sanbelt to watch football and have a few drinks with friends. For this purpose the Belt is a great venue with lots of screens (4x large projector screens and many other smaller screens throughout the venue with comfortable seating available) Decent range of alcohol and food is in offer also without inflated pricing.

Wow very good for family stay clean and comfortable. The reception staff very very friendly and kind. Price very reasonable for big room for 4 peoples. I will come again and recommend 💖💖💖💖💖

Had a great dining experience, very friendly service staff and fabulous food.(fresh vegetables not frozen and watery, steak cooked to perfection and crispy chips) Compliments to the new Chef.

This place was a bit of a surprise. I was expecting worse. For the price, the bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. Two free drinks with the room too. I give it 4/5 for what it is. It is a revamped old motel at a budget price. It isn't near much but if it is near your desired destination, you could do worse.

Shoot some pool and have a meal, drink and some laughs with your friends. Great atmosphere to unwind.

Great value for money, very comfortable room with brand new bathroom facilities. The rooms are a little on the small side, but certainly comfortable enough for a couple. Easy to find on South Road. Rooms were at the back of the hotel, away from the main road, so there were no issues with noise. Really friendly service when we checked in, great place to eat and have a drink. We have stayed in other Nightcap Accommodation locations before, and we will definitely be back again.

Very comfortable clean

Poor service, poor communication. Disorganised. Would never come back. Room smells like vomit. Shower was amazing. Bed moved like a magic carpet. Pillows were like marshmallow mountains which were humanly impossible to rest your head upon. The free beer was like a size of a shot glass.

Hubby & I stayed for two nights. thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quite comfortable room (newly renovated) Food in the bistro was delicious & reasonablily priced. We will definitely be back.

I booked the Sandbelt hotel with a family of 15, and would of made really good money for the business, but sadly had one of the rudest and most disgusting interactions I’ve ever received in my life by the host at the front, ( didn’t get his name but he had a very scraggly neck beard and goatee) He completely disrespected my 85+ year old grandparents, myself included, and the whole rest of my family who were merely trying to celebrate their granddaughter’s birthday. we were trying to help and trying to find a solution to our problem but he refused, and actually started speaking to us in a very condescending manor. I honestly would never wish this experience on anybody. He was disrespectful and made my grandparents cry. My family members were speaking calmly and nicely to him and he proceeded to start yelling. Actually acting in a really smarmy smart attitude. once that happened he started waving goodbye with a smirk on his face. I own a restaurant in the northern suburbs and I would never hire anyone like that. I really hope you find the name of this man and speak to him about this incident because I’m appalled and disgusted with the actions that had taken place. Please reconsider booking or coming to this hotel with family.

100% because of the staff Jordan went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated well and looked after. The lovely staff policing entry even scrolled through my phone to make sure us Queenslanders knew how to use the Victorian app. We had a nice stay in the hotel and a good sleep in the motel highly recommended.

Nice pub with a good sports bar, 3 big screens with sports on them

Menu online was showing few pcs of bread, however, when received the order on the table way to different and only couple pcs of bread. When raised a concern with the manager on duty. She relied rudely and said that what it is and she cannot do anything.

Great food, quite at midday.

Took the wife out for a meal and watch the football, the parmigiana, porterhouse and pasta was great and reasonably priced ||Afterward the wife played the pokies, daughter the arcade game while a watch the football

Not for me. Not well managed in my opinion. You seem to have to wait an eternity to get served except for the bistro staff which seem to work hard and the food is also quite good. I recommend that you eat and leave.

Family friendly hotel, and heaps of room to just sit with a nice drink. Reasonably priced too
