Dont buy from this shop if you pay by international credit card. The staff is impolite and asked for passport copy after the payment, which is unreasonable. I never heard that before when I traveling around the Australia

Nice place, set up like a bank teller, Jeff was chill. Worth the trip from the West to get my business tech so I can make YouTube videos with my Boscam camera.

The staff Steve is very helpful and accountable. He will get the info from the customers and make the best decision for the purchase

Orders from the website are ‘special orders’, although there is no information about this on the website. They cannot be returned even the following day despite being in the original packaging with the receipt. THERE WAS ONE LINE ABOUT not accepting change of mind returns in 11 pages of terms and conditions. Don’t bother they are just so rude and hard to deal with, go anywhere else.

Only dropped by to grab a SD card converter but the staff was knowledgeable, fast and friendly and the items appeared well priced.

Recently had an issue with a hard drive, I had ordered the wrong interface! It was promptly replaced without hesitation, excellent friendly service.

Bootleg, dilapidated store, and terrible customer service. No greeting when I entered the store, despite me being the only one there. No refund policy - and when I indicated I wasn't willing to buy an expensive USB cord that I wasn't sure would work for my situation given I couldn't bring it back, salesperson silently got up and walked away.

Do not buy from them twice already have ordered and failed to have stock in a timely manner. If you are going to say available in 2-3 business days dont make your customers wait over 2 weeks and then on the 2 week stop replying to them. These guys will then try to charge you for trying to process a refund.

What can you say about computer parts shops? It's reasonable in price and has a pretty good selection. Wait times can be horrendous but if you know what you want it's good.

This is the worst customer service I have experienced anywhere. I was a regular customer, purchased IT equipment for my business. Sales executive Jeff W was very rude and shouted at us. This is a dodgy business not following Australian Consumer laws since would not agree to take back any item if it has been open from the box. We will never do business with CPL. I would have given 0 star.

Bought a USB-C adapter that simply did not work - Dead On Arrival. They tested privately on their own machines and did NOT provide evidence of it working, then DID NOT REFUND.

Well priced, generally quick. Great range of cables, components & accessories. Cheap freight.

SERVICE is slightly better compared to the Notting Hill store. Prices are still good, however not sure how volatile they are, showroom is very bland and could be a lot better.

First time going in i thought I died and went to heaven well pc components heaven nah great guys here helped me a lot and ill be shopping for my next pc upgrades 👍

I walked to the shop in West Melbourne because AusPost has become unreliable to buy my part. The service is quite fast, don’t expect much more. It’s more of a warehouse or collection point. You need to have the part reference code ready for the clerk at the till. I was the only person there on a weekday morning.

Always helpful, always professional. Legit prices and good stock levels. What more could you want?

Called to get information on a pre-order but as soon as I asked (Jeff was his name?) hung up immediatley. Called the Notting Hill store and they were more than happy to give me info and answer all my questions. I'd probably just avoid this branch in general.

Purchased a 49inch ultra wide monitor, upon getting home and unboxing the monitor was cracked. returned first thing in the morning and told it should be a DOA. 2 months later i find out that they wont honour the warranty. An update to this, i proceeded through the consumer affairs process and was immediately threatened with legal and police action if my claim was successful I wont ever be buying from them again Word of warning when buying screens from these guys ask them to unbox and check it prior to taking the screen as they will NOT replace cracked screens even if you have video footage of the screen being unboxed

Cheap and quality items, but customer service often terrible, arrogant and rude. They're protocol for buying anything is so slow, so many checks and boxes to tick. A simple transaction takes about 5-10 minutes and hence there's always a queue.

very bad experience i place the online order and came to pickup they’re saying they didn’t get the payment so they’re not going to process the order i showed them my payment done from my side but they didn’t get the payment reflected in they bank account when i tried to contact CPL they’re no response sales person hear saying that they are not responding for online orders. you need to contact online service’s

They sell second hand products as new. I bought a power bank from there. When I opened the package I saw that it had already been used previously. I sent a couple of emails and never heard back from them. Response to owner. It wasn't purchased under this name. I understand you cant check everything, that is why I emailed you. Your failure to respond shows you have no issues with selling second hand items, it's only an issue when other people hear about it.

CPL consistently outperform their rivals on price, availability and range. I've had 4 custom gaming builds from CPL over the years, including one I recently did for a friend. Only one failure (faulty motherboard) which CPL fixed under warranty at no cost. Excellent service! I've recommended CPL to my single-parent neighbour who bought a couple of laptops for herself and her eldest child. No way JB Hi-Fi/Harvey-rip-off-Norman can match CPL's prices! If you need computer gear, know what you want and *have done your research*, look no further.

Terrible experience, bought an item in the Preston store as I was driving through, the item was dead on arrival, tried to return it to the West Melbourne store only to find out they won't accept returns for an item bought at a different location. How can you run a business like this? I will never use CPL again.

My favourite computer shop. Been to pccg, scorptec South Melbourne, mwave. Easy to order/pickup or even return a product. Would recommend to anyone, staff very knowledgeable.

I came into the store hoping to buy a CPU that according to the website is in stock, once I approach the counter after waiting nearly 5 minutes the worker said it was out of stock. He said that “The CPU is out of stock” and left. The customer service is very bad and would not recommend this place.

In urgent need of a CyberPower BR1000ELCD and was able to pickup within an hour of payment during Melbourne's stage 4 restriction. Very responsive service and competitively priced.

Got to west Melbourne store at 5.30 (closing time of 6 pm) shutter doors already down. Signage saying they are closed after 3.30. No mentioning of this on their website, Confirmation email or notification of ready stock email. Poor customer service for someone who's taken public transport here with no mentioning of this.
