Google and website says closes at 9pm, showed up an hour before to find the doors closed, no signs posting different hours, no public holidays or anything, just lazy staff who don't wanna work, very unfortunate.

Been to this store and few times and while they often have great prices and stock - a recent experience ruined it completely. Extremely poor customer service and rudely spoken to by the older woman. Learn to do your job and the industry you’re in, otherwise go home.

Last year, I asked a salesgirl if they had Chinese chess? This game wasn’t available at that time. This time, I visited the shop again, I noticed this game is already on their shelf 😊. So, I didn’t hesitate at all to buy one. I am glad the store staff are so concerned about their customers’ needs.

Unfortunately can't support this business any longer. Most recent pokemon release (prismatic evolutions) did not limit items per customer. This was a very in demand set. I saw a guy with 2 gamesworld bags full of prismatic evolutions product at the post office 30 minutes after they sold out buying an entire flat pack of bubble mailers. He was obviously a scalper. They limited 151 to 1 per customer. Why not this? The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Wide selection but this left a bad taste in my mouth. Also tends to be a decent amount above MSRP. ETB was $120, MSRP is $90ish. ($79 at target, Kmart and big w).

They price things lower on the item sticker only to ask for more at check out so be wary, caught it before I paid and they wouldn’t honour the price it was ticketed as. Also I’ve been charged twice for a $200 item too so I was lucky I checked the receipt before leaving.

1 star for the rude blonde lady that was on the pm shift 21/3 We spend a good amount of money weekly on diecast, if we have to deal with her next week I'll just find a new store to buy from. On the plus side there use to be another girl on Thursday nights that was fantastic! she deserves 5 stars, I hope she is back

Went yesterday and bought some Italian playing cards. The store had many packs under the counter. They displayed different regions on each pack such as Napolitano, Siciliano, Lombarde, etc. I chose a pack with Lombarde on the cover. When I got home I opened the packet and the plastic wrap around the cards. To my surprise the cards were like normal poker (not Italian) figures. I went back today to swap them over for a pack with Italian figures. The not so friendly lady who served me said that I am not entitled for replacement because I had taken the seal off of the plastic wrap around the cards. She referred me to her manager who was not contactable today so I will have to go back on Wednesday. A lot of mucking around for a set of cards costing $17.99.

Never had an issue in this games world, the girls always provide fantastic customer service and the prices aren’t even over priced like the other reviews say, at least when comparing to eb games or other tcg retailers. I do hope management treats their workers well though.

Very nice staff in general, I just want to share what happened though, we wanted to buy a board game and it was priced with a discount however when they scanned it on the system it was full price, no one in the store could change the price, they had to call I assume the boss to get a permission to change the price and as we could see the boss was giving them hard time as how they didn’t take the price tag off or something. It seemed like a very toxic environment for the staff being treated by the boss, very apparent just from a brief visit to the store. In general the in-store staff are very supportive (thank you so much for respecting your costumers, that why I rated it with 4 starts and giving us the discounted price), there is some massive tension over controlling prices store and we felt it, it’s just obvious and not very good vibe to the store chain and lastly the store is over priced for sure. Employers should be fair and supportive to their employees.

Will never come here again. Awful staff, shame.

Not cooperative, purchased bought a dart game,which was useless the dart was not holding on the dartboard.Went three times there to get a refund. They do not give cash. They want the same card. Even with the same card they check the number and they say it does no match. Went a last time there with a bank statement now they check the time whether it was same time we purchased the game.The number on the card will never match with there machine. Finally they agreed to try the card and it works so well on the electronic machine. Get back my refund. Be careful when buying games there it is not easy to get a refund there.

They don't do refunds (even if completely unopened and with reciept) and everything is marked up 10-30% compared with other stores. Also they don't price match. Legitimately deserving 1 star.

This place is stacked wall to ceiling with so many different varieties of games! And none that are video games! My sons and I love it here.
