Noisy, due to location. Room smells Quality is below par, Cracks in the walls, old dents on the walls, all areas. Cold water tap in handbasin extremely noisy when you turn it own. Unfortunately I could not in all good conscience recommend this inn. Service was lovely last night

This motel is sourounded to the left by 3 abandoned houses and 1 to the right, the motel carpark across the road has the biggest pot hole in it your guaranteed to damage your vehicle and the dumped rubbish is a pleasure to observe, i hear some of the motel guests are a delight, im thinking a bulldozer would fix all these issues

Please believe me when I say this, my husband and I booked this motel for last Friday and Saturday going by the website photos and details. I do not normally read or take notice of reviews, but I will now. Someone needs to check the state of this motel, as it is not fit for public use. The website is FALSE ADVERTISING. We lost one nights accommodation. We arrived to check in Friday afternoon, and initially we thought we were at the wrong address. It looked like a drug dealers den. We drove in the entry and drove out the exit feeling quite violated. If I were any of the Booking companies, I would not be promoting this place, or have it associated to the business. This is not the first Motel we lost money on this particular weekend. We re booked into a Motel we have stayed at before, but to our absolute shock, it also has become a dump, and lost that nights tariff as well because I could not stand the idea of staying in there, or sleeping in the bed. I found a used tube of personal lubricating gel left near the TV. The cleaner should have easily seen that whilst cleaning the room. So, did they clean the room? I now will take note of the Google reviews before I book a room in a hotel. It is a shame that it is left to the general public to do checks on these facilities. What happened to the STAR Valuation? Is that service still available? Is there a governing body that go around and check motels to see if they are fit for purpose? I would love to know how I can find out the answers to my very important questions. In the meantime, before you go ahead an book a motel, and you like a certain standard of cleanliness and safety, don't just rely on their website to view photos and information, go to Google maps and check out the 360 degree street view to at least get an updated view of the property. I hope all this helps, as it left us very frustrated and greatly out of pocket.

Room was a bit chilly, extra blankets required. While sitting on the bed I had an ant crawl on my phone that was in my hand, then saw a cockroach in the bathroom a little later. Although the water pressure was pretty good for the shower, water pooled up at my feet quite a bit. Also needs a better exhaust fan option. Overall the room was tidy, sheets felt fresh and clean. Plenty of towels were supplied and was able to get extra after the second day. Easy access to the Bus and Tram. Kettle, toaster & M/wave supplied, no hairdryer though. Wifi was pretty good with good strength.

The owners are trying their best post covid! Rooms are clean and loved. I do think extra blankets would be a wonderful addition.. but I think they're doing a great job 😀

We stayed here as temporary accomodation after a house fire. The rooms windows don't open , mould throughout shower, building is falling apart, cigarette buts everywhere, no maintenance on lawns , no service to rooms , broken bed apon arrival , draws are broken throughout. Clean sheets, clean cutlery . $150 a night.

Location is fine I guess because polaris is basically across the road otherwise this place is horrible save your money and sleep in a car. I’ve tried for a year now to get my bond back after being told it would be In the next day, I get zero answers. I was in room 5 for the stay, it had a weird smell. Bathroom door hardly opened. The bed wasn’t the worst blankets were okay, hospital quality honestly I don’t recommend purely because the way they are with getting the money back to otherwise if I needed somewhere to go in emergency again I’d visit. Would be nice if they would finally contact me for my $100 back

What a disgusting place . Room filthy sheets stained,mould everywhere beds were old and worn out .couches had dirty covers on them to hide wear stains food stains and splatters on walls . Walls and doors in general look like they have never been cleaned ... DO NOT STAY HERE . It doesn't deserve even 1 star

I was getting ready at my room and somebody just used their key and walked in to my room. Saying that I thought you already checked out (it was 8 am and my checked out time was at 10). I’m still shocked at what happened this morning and cannot believe how unprofessional and unorganised was this hotel.

The beds were very comfortable,sheets were fresh and crisp. The shower had good water pressure,water was nice and hot. The room was warm enough on a cool night without the heater on. Bus stop was just across the road. Staff were friendly.

A big disappointment, not as advertised. Smelly, poorly maintained (cupboard doors falling off, mold in bathrooms), garbage outside the doors, dodgy men hanging about- really unsafe. Left four days early into an eight night booking, refused any kind of refund- basically criminals.

A run down motel on an extremely busy road. Positives were clean beds, toilet, cutlery & crockery, hug & toaster, quiet fridge. Male receptionist unhelpful. Female receptionist much more efficient. Extensive mould in shower recess, vent for bathroom fan filthy, cigarette containers outside rooms not emptied, rubbish in neglected garden not picked up. I could go on! About an hour to the city by tram, & stop close by. Shops close by. Traffic does die down from about 9 am to about 4.30 am. If you can afford a better location, don’t come here.

It's wonderful place to stay at it's quite

I picked this as it was very handy. But the place is a dive. The property has not been maintained. The gardens are full of weeds. While the property is nonsmoking, all the smokers puff away outside their doors so the smell drifts in. It did have a comfy bed. But the rooms are in desperate need of renovation and the bathroom grout has quite a bit of mould. Needs a decent spring clean, repairs and a bit of effort.

I attempted to stay in this motel last week, the deep toxic smell of mould was so potent I nearly passed out. The musky filth that confronted me upon opening the door was like a cloud of stench. When approaching the staff they assured me the room did not smell prior to me entering it.. insinuating that the room smelt because of me. Disgusting behaviour and disgusting room. Do. Not. Bother.

This was the worst inn I have ever been I in my life. Me and my family where terrified of the people banging on doors and I just felt extremely unsafe, there was dirty dishes and forks and it was overall the worst and not worth the money.

Last minute booking surprise trip to Melbourne. Paid extra to get into room prior to check in to put bags on beds. Motel very worn looking from outside, maintenance had been let go. Pleasantly surprised by reception very fresh looking. Reception staff very friendly very helpful. When we got into the room to settle in at the end of a long day, bedroom shared main room looked very fresh. Only staying for one night. THE BATHROOM. Exhaust fan barely worked hanging out of ceiling. Tiles missing in shower floor. Black mould in shower area. Wall tiles and grout falling apart. Bathroom door could not be locked door handle and mechanism jammed. It may well be that the rooms are being slowly renovated but that is no excuse to put full paying clients in a sub standard bathroom. A motel bathroom does not have to be pristine but you should feel okay about spending any time in there. Water temp good, pressure okay. Locality good in terms of catching trams into Melbourne CBD. Air con very good. Beds incredibly comfortable. Electrical items appear to be in good condition. Very quiet in rooms considering main road (Plenty rd) outside.

Not a good experience even for the price. Room smells like cigarettes, and toilets have moldy grouts not maintained. Shower takes time to heat up water and cutlery are dirty. If you just need a place to sleep in and tend to go around town more, it’s an ok place.

This is the worst accomodation I have ever been to!!! The room had water damage and smelled, with my wife unable to breath. The whole place is in disrepair and the bed still had food crumbs and a stain on the sheet in it from previous people. They apologised and went to change the sheets....this place is misleadingly advertised!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT STAY HERE. From the moment I walked into the reception the sweet air freshener smell hit me and should have been a warning for the room they gave me (12) it was so bad upon opening the door I nearly gagged as it was such a stale and mouldy smell. I tried to stay in the room but I couldn't stop coughing, upon opening the window for fresh air I discovered there was no fly screen so the flies and cigarette smoke from outside came in. Next was the stain on the bed covering followed closely by the discovery of food crumbs on and behind the pillow. Advised management who apologised and changed sheets. I ask if there had been water damage as the room smelt terrible and he just shrugged his shoulders and walked out. This place is so run Down and a Health hazard. I would not recommend anyone to stay here

It was very smelly, carpet was very dirty with extremely unpleasant smell. Bathrooms are very old. Even the bed has very musty smell. The worst part is , the blanket has urinate stain (yellow map) , how hard is it to wash the blanket ? Hence the smell from the bed. They have long term tenants (housing homeless people) they are drunk or on drug, looking for cigarettes from ashtray outside, very doggie. Upstairs family room had a small one room with single bed but it has no aircon or windows than can be opened, with dirty smell it wasn’t possible to sleep in that room, so one person had sleeping on the couch. When I booked it clearly says “Payment will be on Arrival” for my booking, but it wants my Credit Card Details in advance. I was annoyed by that and didn’t feel safe to provide it but had no choice but to give it. Two days later they have already deducted the payment from my account, why ???? Very annoying. Having to find another $100 as a deposit for something that wasn't worth it. Trying to fill the kettle from the sink and only just getting the lip of the kettle under the tap. Carpark should have been provided to each room but it is always taken by other tenants, had to park on the street. Write room numbers on the carpark floor would have solved this, simple.

Cheaper to book online that to ring and book through the motel. Basic room and amenities. Traffic noise was an issue.

Nothing is more important then a good bed and a good night's sleep. Every other nitpicky aspect is a distant second. Slept beautifully. Mind you, I love a firm mattress and for others it may have been considered too much so but not for me. The only things preventing 5 stars for my room (#2) was a lack of flyscreens therefore rendering the windows inoperable and a TV that could not provide some of the HD channels. Everything else was fine. Spacious room, great location and reasonably priced. For a small cost this place could probably iron out such small wrinkles and the 5-star reviews would be sure to flood in. If I could give 4.5 stars or a 9/10 I probably would.

The sign out front says $89 but once you're in there is no room for that amount. It was basically placed out to draw customer in. You looking at $150 per night for a room that isnt even 3 stars. Go elsewhere for $150 per night I suggest.

Found a crack pipe in a drawer, beds had stains and bathroom was sticky. Would not recommend. Only used the room to book another hotel.

Would not recommend, turned up and immediately felt unsafe, despite this continued to the room. Had a booking for one bed and had 4 in total, with plenty of room. However, all were dirty some were stained, the bathroom was dirty including the toilet seat. We also found a used crack pipe in one of the drawers, only stayed long enough to rebook another hotel
