The time we stayed (valentines day weekend) so the hotel was super busy. It's a gorgeous hotel with beautiful facilities. The room service menu was limited though and quite pricey. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. I would stay again.

The hotel was great and the King suite was very luxurious. The service from all staff was excellent, with additional complementary drinks card and small desert provided. I would highly recommend this to others.

The property is in a decent location by having Chadstone shopping centre on its door step. The room is modern and the bed was really comfortable, which was the most important factor when rating a hotel room for me. The check in process is quite poor. I arrived at 3:00pm, and the line was literally to the door to the entrance of the hotel for people wanting to check in. I finally reached the check in desk at 3:50pm. This caused issues with our schedule for the day and we missed our afternoon events, which there were no other way to avoid the matter. I made note at time of booking that this was a special night stay for a mental health break for my wife due to some recent struggles. I had asked at booking to request any special service that they could offer would be a lovely gesture. The staff member checking my room in on her computer didn't acknowledge any notes and was asking why I was staying with them for the day. This is not a big negative, but it is more in regards to getting the 5 star service of having that personal touch. The room was fine for an entry level room. It was just small with a compact bathroom size. We had breakfast at the property, which I will see was really nice for the hot food section. Usually most properties these days just offer poor quality produce that just sits there sweating under the cloches. Hotel Chadstone's food though was really good. The down note here was we asked for a coffee to be in a take away cup, as we like to drink our coffee slowly, but we were advised that we would need to pay for this at an additional fee. When you are paying so much money for a room and for breakfast on top, you really should not have to pay for your coffee further on top of that. Unfortunately this was our last experience from the night stay, so it left us with a negative feeling when we checked out. Overall the amenities are decent and the food is good, but clearly the team/ their procedures are lacking what is so important, which is customer service.

I attended a work function and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service on arrival and throughout my stay. I highly recommend Hotel Chadstone and look forward to my next stay.

I really enjoyed my stay as part of giving birth at Jessie Mac. It was a lovely experience and just the icing on the cake after the birth of my little one. We had a memorable relaxed stay. My only feedback would be for the Jessie Mac rooms to consider having a breastfeeding friendly arm chair set up. The staff were great and the food was devine. Really enjoyed all that MGallery had to offer!

We are regular guests at Chadstone Hotel and each time we are blown away with the luxurious amenities, excellent service and atmosphere, clean rooms, stunning views and the most friendliest staff that make you feel like a VIP guest. Valet is also a 5 star service due to our luxury vehicle being treated and handled like it is their own car. Also want to say a big thank you to Karen Taylor (general manager) for each time we stay Karen goes above and beyond and ensures everything runs smoothly and according to plan. Once again a big thank you to all staff for making our stay so incredible and memorable. To anyone that is reading this review we highly recommend this hotel for your stay whether it’s a short or long stay the service never falters.

Bed had average comfortability. Way too many pillows and cushions to start with. It would be good to have some instructions on how to turn off the lights so they don’t stay on all night or turn off suddenly whilst using toilet. Overall a nice hotel (tho the young girls who talked to us in the lift didn’t look old enough to be walking around by themselves in a 5 star hotel) but definitely very expensive and not somewhere I would probably choose to stay at again. It was handy as we had an event nearby and live on the other side of Melbourne.

Looks nice entering the foyer, then long wait to checkin. Rooms small with hard mattresses, seemed cheap after settling in. Restaurant and room service not to our expectations. Looking at all the advertised hospitality positions on Seek, it seems there may be a high turnover of staff here? Unlikely to book in again due to room comfort and food service. Cocktail bar Altus was the highlight, great for a pre shopping cocktail 😉

Our stay had a few disappointments that impacted our experience. The shopping voucher provided to us initially did not work, requiring us to return to the hotel for activation, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the duty manager mentioned arranging a small cake for our daughter's birthday, but it was only delivered after we reminded reception. Breakfast options were available, but after 10 AM, no refills were made. For instance, Nutella remained empty the entire time we were there, and items like breadbread and butter pudding were not replenished, which was disappointing. I understand that not everything always runs perfectly, and I truly appreciate the hard work of the hospitality staff. However, having worked in retail for a long time, I know how much of a difference excellent customer service can make. When staying at a five-star hotel, guests naturally expect a five-star experience, and these small service lapses took away from what should have been a seamless stay.

A true 5-Star experience! The service was fabulous, smooth and fast check in, dinner at pastore which was amazing and the views from Altus are stunning. The staff was top level, everyone went out of their way to ensure a memorable experience. Thank you also for the Valentine’s Day amenities they were very thoughtful :)

Exceeded expectations - honestly this is equivalent to Ritz Carlton 7 star hotels. The rooms were high end, spotlessly maintained, housekeeping and front desk absolutely amazing service - prompt and helpful for transport and costs and timing. The location is so great - a wonderful treat all up.

I stayed in you hotel. Was nice I had ridiculously large room with two separate beds. I asked to changed into smaller. Expect that big shopping center NOTHING else was there. I was excited to have dinner there but ay 8:40 pm the staff stopped me and only offered me dessert menu. He said it’s too late and I can’t have dinner there. In my home time was 7:40 and I was there only for one night. That was so stupid. I came to my room and didn’t like any of those room service menu. I walked around trying to to find something to eat. Wasn’t anything there. I ended up having Subway for dinner. Really shame. All of 5 star hotel at least offering bottle of water per person but to have water in my room had to pay $7 for water. That time I was Platinum member and even free welcome drink wasn’t decent enough.

Only my second stay with the hotel, everything was perfect - could not fault a single aspect of the stay.

I have written down a note in advance saying if they can prepare a small surprise for my partner’s birthday as I wanted to surprise him and I was willing to pay extra if needed. When we got there, the receptionist did not know anything about it. I still haven’t received the refund from the $200 deposit they took from my account and it’s been almost a week since our trip.Tried calling hotel but no one answers.

Staff were very professional and provided a prompt service. The room was very clean and spacious for 4 people. (2 adults & 2 kids 13yrs+10yrs), excellent amenities, kids loved the pool, breakfast had a lot of options and included barista made coffee! at no extra fee! The gentleman who assisted us with bags was very welcoming every time we saw him. Excellent location, travelators take you into Chadstone shopping center which has ample shopping, eatery and entertainment options to keep us busy for our stay.

Excellent service at check in and really great location! We stayed in a 2 bedroom queen room. The only issue was the TV has an obstructed view from the second bed and the pool wasn’t supervised so children we’re misbehaving and being very disruptive to other guests

I had a brief and very memorable staycation at the Hotel Chadstone recently. It was a rejuvenating experience, I enjoyed cocktails by the pool with wonderful views over the city and staff ensured I had an enjoyable experience as always. This hotel never disappoints!

We celebrated our 20th anniversary, and the staff made it extra special. They were so welcoming, and the thoughtful gesture of bringing a plate of cakes and a card was a lovely touch. The Bar on the 12th Floor was amazing. We will be back.

Très bel hôtel, mitoyen avec le Chadstone shopping center. La chambre double est spacieuse, et très bien aménagée. La piscine au 12 eme étage est superbe et très bien chauffée. Le seul bémol : la complexité d’accès via le parking du centre commercial. Ce que j’aurai aimé savoir avant d’arriver : le parking du centre commercial est gratuit et il est très facile de se garer au P4 (F) en fin de journée. Cette portion me semble plus proche et plus pratique que le parking payant proposé par l’hotel (P2).

Hotel still feels new, great breakfasts, great staff. I really enjoyed the pool (but so did many others, and it was somewhat crowded at times!).

We paid $600 a night for this hotel and whilst the the room was fine the service on checking was awful. The room wasn’t ready in time and we waited 2 hours for it. Not good enough when paying this much for a night stay if you ask me

After more than 20 years it was time to checkout the Melbourne Mega-Mall at Chadstone. To avoid the parking we travelled a relaxing hour across the suburbs by bus ($2.75 - great) and arrived at the hotel to be greeted by a friendly and chatty young receptionist. Efficiently checked in, the room was very modern and comfortable, although mastering the lighting was a bit of a challenge. We enjoyed a lovely meal in Pastore, followed by an excellent breakfast. Easy covered walk to the Mall and wandering around occupied the day. We enjoyed a pre-dinner drink in Altus and the service and friendliness of the staff was much appreciated and well up to Accor international standard. A short walk back to Chadstone for dinner and an easy checkout and bus ride next morning completed our adventure. An enjoyable two night staycation

Stayed for our Wedding Anniversary and weren't disappointed, all facilities were as we expected and the staff friendly, accomodating yet extremely professional and efficient. Even the nice touch of welcoming petit fours and congratulatory card made for an even better experience.

We stayed with Hotel Chadstone as part of the Jessie McPherson Post delivery program with our newborn. The hotel was beautifully designed with amazing amenities and decor. The mum gets all the meals included and the food was just incredible and delivered to your room for convenience. The hotel is situated next to the Chadstone shopping centre where I could quickly pop in and but any necessary supplies e.g. medications from the pharmacy. All the staff were just amazing and very helpful with the newborn.

We stay annually just before Christmas to get some shopping done. Rooms were clean and well appointed as usual. Highlight this year was the gingerbread decorating and letter to Santa by the ballroom, which the kids loved doing (and eating)! Thanks team 👏

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Chadstone just prior to Christmas. The rooms are really beautiful, clean and comfortable. The service was fantastic. The highlights for the kids included the iced tea in the foyer and the gingerbread decorating they included for guests! Looking forward to coming back again next year!

We stayed at hotel chadstone 2 nights 3days with Jessie McPherson parenting program. We had such relaxing transition from the hospital to home.

We arrived for at hotel Chadstone to stay for NYE! We were both so excited as this was our first time at hotel Chadstone, and especially being NYE! We went to check-in and the lady that checked us in was absolutely incredible! We went up to the room, and decided we wanted to go to to the pool, but it was overly crowded and stuffy in the pool, nowhere to sit, so we decided to come back later. Later that night, after having a shower realised that the whole bathroom had flooded (I took photos and videos), I immediately called the front desk to let them know, and they sent someone up within 10 minutes have a look. It must’ve been the hotel manager, and he had a look at the bathroom and said “oh that’s pretty normal, but how long of a shower did you take” I was in complete shock and think that is so disrespectful! I said to him I think something is blocked in the drain. I can’t believe he had the nerve to say that especially to a young girl. The cleaner then came back up and tidied up the bathroom. The next day (checkout day) the same problem happened, we tried to call the front desk to let them know, but no answer. I find that the only great customer service experience I had was when we checked in, other than that it was quite poor. Don’t know if I’d come back to stay here because of my experience.

Our stay was okay, but it didn’t meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel. The check-in process felt rushed, and the staff didn’t seem particularly engaged or welcoming. We were told that our room card would allow us to access the parking, but it wasn’t linked correctly, which caused inconvenience when trying to leave and return. Overall, the experience was average—not bad, but certainly not what I would expect from a hotel of this standard. Attention to detail and a more attentive staff would have made a big difference.

I hate hotels but stayed as it was convenient and am now a repeat visitor plus stay regularly purely because it’s so comfortable, meets all needs (kids included) & a great atmosphere. Staff have always gone above and beyond too.

We stayed over the Christmas period for 6 nights. We also booked rooms for family also travelling from interstate. The location was convenient for Chadstone shopping and also close to my sister, hosting Christmas this year. Check-in was a little slow due to 'peak' time rush but all efforts were made to ensure close proximity of our rooms and ease of other family. Appreciated. In house breakfast was good, 6/10, marked hard as we have significant experience worldwide. We ate at Pastore several times for dinner and enjoyed our experience. We had cocktails at Altus rooftop Bar, had a great experience here thanks to great engaging bar staff. Rooms were clean, well maintained and our room was spacious. Turn down service was thoughtful and efficient. Would we stay again ? ; Yes

Perfect location and hotel stay was wonderful, excellent service and well looked after, we are returning guests and will definitely visit again in the future.

Room prices are pretty reasonable. Service was excellent. Breakfast and other amenities also good. Not the best view of Melbourne.

Refused to provide room service dinner for son’s milk and egg allergy!!! (Not anaphylactic) Room was nice and clean. Pool needs more seating / lounging and was a tad on the small side. Water was a great temperature. Easy to move between the hotel and shopping centre. Attempted to order room service only to be told they couldn’t provide any food options for my son who has a dairy and egg allergy. Asked to speak to manager but never got a call back. We ended up having to get food delivered from Lolivo. Luckily Lolivo were happy to cater to my son’s allergies.

A favourite of mine! The service has really stepped up over the years. I remember the first time I went and staff were untrained, however over the years they’ve really improved to a high level of service. Love everything about the hotel, in the perfect spot, not too far from Melbourne CBD, right within Chadstone shops, the hotel rooms are always beautiful luxurious and clean and nice restaurants. It’s somewhere you want to stay for 100% convenience, everything is there for you so you’re able to just enjoy your time and relax. Rooftop pool is beautiful and they also have a roof top bar too. Overall I recommend.

My friend and I always stay at Hotel Chadstone for our girls’ weekends. Always an excellent experience, this last trip was made extra special by Ella at the front desk who gave us the best customer experience we’ve had so far. I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff of Hotel Chadstone. This will be our second stay here in 12 months. My wife Sonia and I absolutely loved every minute we have spent here, including the great service, comfort, and the shopping next door. We would also like to thank the AMAZING Julia from housekeeping for making sure our room was always kept clean and the bathroom stocked up with all the essentials every day. Message to management to review the quality of the mattresses in the room's as they are not up to standard for such a well-appointed hotel, and this comes from someone with experience in the mattress industry.

We love almost everything, and there is always room for improvement. We also understand that it was a highly demanding time when we stayed there, but it would be perfect if the trash left in the alley could be collected quicker.

The room and staff at the hotel were great. Breakfast buffet not so much. Would stay again. High recommend.

My family came here last year and had a great time so we came again this year. The breakfast was good and we got to decorate gingerbread men.

The hotel was overall really good, the room was nice and tidy when we came in, the view was also good, if you are coming to Chadstone hotel, be sure to try the gingerbread man building, the staff there are very nice and approachable, 5/5 star experience would come here again
