Great service even on the last few days before closing

I placed a late click and collect order for an item they had on clearance, and dropped in while I was nearby about 30 minutes later and they were able to gather it up when I was there straight away (it wasn't busy though), great service and polite, friendly salespeople. I'd definitely go there again!

11/10 stars for PLE Moorabbin. (Summary) Amazing team effort from all the staff at PLE Moorabbin, I spoke and was assisted by a lot of them through the process. Overall all the staff at the Moorabbin store have been more than extremely helpful. I had received constant updates regarding my PC build and parts that were needed to be ordered in, and they were very patient with me and my request. I will 100% be a returning customer and have my partner’s PC build be done by them in the near future. (Detailed) This was my first custom PC build ever and Lewis was more than helpful in assisting me with putting together the overkill build i wanted. He was very patient throughout the whole process, giving me suggestions when I needed them and helping me put through price matching queries in the note. Billy was extremely helpful too with contacting me about my original PSU being out of stock and gave me a list of options for what i could replace it with. I spoke to him over the phone and he was amazing! I also spoke to Cam via emails and he was also amazing. He updated with the price matching that i had requested and answered my questions that i had. Brodie was also extremely helpful during pickup day and also assisting me with getting a replacement side panel that i found was scratched when i got home. Very keen to return for them to place my future GPU in and will update my review/add more photos when it arrives.

Great service. Note that the display area is very small so I wouldn't go here to browse/decide privately. Also, most equipment is not on display.

Recently bought the highest performance spec PC available with a challenging spec: no or minimal noise. Because of the custom parts, it took several weeks to get the right parts in and I could not be happier with the result and the communication throughout the process. Big callout to Billy for doing a great job.

Needed some PC parts to finish a build on a Sunday. Staff were very polite, and very quick to pick what I needed. A huge amount of stock with a neat little showroom, I will definitely return. I wish they advertised more so I knew they existed earlier!

My partner and I were in the market for some gaming chairs; we visited PLE Moorabbin. Upon entry, the staff gave a polite greeting but left us to ourselves; this was great! I prefer to shop on my own and ask for help if I need it - no pushy sales people. They had 5 BattleBull chairs on display, which was awesome. This was after trying another 2-3 stores that had either no chairs or very little on offer to try. The chairs also had tags/QR codes to give more information on colours/styles available. We picked up 2x chairs and the staff member even threw in a discount - amazing! They also gave us two PLE T-Shirts which was a nice gesture. Overall a great experience at PLE and we'll be back if we need PC parts in the future! :)

Lewis is a legend! Very patient and pleasant and extremely helpful. Not pushy at all. Helped me figure out exactly what monitor I wanted.

I was after quite a specific item that was out of stock statewide except for PLE. Called and spoke to Cam who was extraordinarily helpful and ensured the stock was actually available, put it aside and talked me through the online process to ensure I could have same day delivery! Nothing was too hard and I really appreciated it. And it arrived same day as promised! Worth calling as the customer service is great.

Never let me down

Took my 2 year old pc in a few weeks out of warranty with a water cooler problem, they fixed it on the spot and didn't charge me labour excellent after sales service from Dany and the tech (didn't catch his name) Thank you PLE !

The staff were particularly unwelcoming. I'm usually not one to be annoyed by this sort of thing but the employee behind the desk did not even acknowledge my presence until I asked for his assistance, at which point he dismissess me and says he's busy with the computer, and returns to typing (he was not with another customer). How rude! They also have practically nothing on display. I certainly will not be returning.

Staff are fantastic really helpful an innovative can solve most problems easily. Products are very well priced an huge range can nearly always help with any sort of electrical plugs for much more things than just computers. Highly recommend 👍

PLE Heatherton is amazing. I contacted them knowing very little and wanted to build a custom water cooled pc, they were super helpful, friendly and took time to explain things. They had great communication and kept me up to date along the way with constant emails and pictures of the build coming together. The end result is exactly what I wanted and had hoped for Thank you very much to the PLE Team

3.5 years ago (It's a covid thing) I was so happy to find a small-ish company to upgrade an aging computer with some decent stuff. Fast forward - I recommended my 16yo son buy his first gaming rig (that he worked and saved up for over 9 months) from PLE. After about 6 weeks the GPU started behaving poorly... so we returned it for repairs (their replacement window was 2 weeks). After nearly 2 months, we get it back it starts making the same weird noises (which is what it did before the fans started sparking/crackling). So I email them straight away - and their response was - NOT OUR PROBLEM... we don't make the components. So why buy from them? I always taught my son to support local companies because they will support you better. However, turns out I AM A DINOSAUR. I would strongly not recommend spending any money with PLE if you actually expect them to provide both service and to back what they sell. I always used to laugh at MSY for their cut-throat practices... seems like that was the way to go.

I was looking for a RAM upgrade to my pre customised computer from 8GB to 2x16GB, I found on searching the internet that for all of Australia only PLE had the appropriate RAM upgrade. PLE staff in the warehouse location were supportive and organised for the specific RAM to be sent from their W.A store to their warehouse in Melbourne and subsequently freighted to me in a timely manner. Customer Service was outstanding. Will use again, and happy to reccomend.

First time I've ordered from PLE. Used their Uber delivery service, parts delivered to my front door within 90 mins. Absolutely awesome service (I hate driving lol, the Uber delivery service was what sold me). Parts were super well wrapped too in a double layer of bubble wrap. 5 stars!!!!!!!!

Good luck trying to get a refund for a faulty product from these guys. Absolutely hopeless and only care about keeping your money. Even when I’ve spent thousands at their store, you’d think they’d do you a solid and help you out but no. Won’t be going there again.

Purchased an Asus PG27AQDM monitor from these guys a couple of months ago, unfortunately the monitor despite being brand new had several scratches on the ROG chin at the bottom of the monitor. Returned the monitor to PLE Heatherton store where Lewis was more than helpful with the return, I kept the monitor whilst PLE sourced a new monitor for me (these are hard to find) once a new monitor was sourced (about 6 weeks later) I picked up the new one and exchanged it without any issues, needless to say whilst this was not PLE's fault they did the right thing by me as a customer, highly recommended and will 100% buy from them again in the future.

I needed thermal paste, and PLE is open on a Sunday, so they literally saved my weekend 👍 Friendly staff, easy to find, onsite parking and very competitive pricing.

Beware stock levels don't appear to match their inventory. Purchased a product online (and the website clearly stated there was multiple items of the product i was after in stock) and almost three weeks later PLE is now telling me their supplier does not have stock and they have to refund me. Quite frustrating - they need to pick their game up when it comes to stock inventory management.

Customer service is not good at all, after purchasing a faulty screen I called them and was told not to even bother persuing the matter, I am 3 weeks into a 3 year warranty and I should not bother.

This may be premature as I am yet to receive my new custom gaming rig however so far PLE have been super pro-active at keeping me up to date with stock availability of every item and it's hugely re-assuring. Great customer experience thus far.

This is my go-to computer parts supplier. A friend recommended them to me I think 7 years ago and haven't gone anywhere else since. If in stock easy same-day pick-up. But love the fact they have same-day delivery too. (I've used that a couple of times when missing coolant) Pricing has always been in line with or better than the other retailers, and your warranties are easy to see online when you look at the past items brought. Highly recommend.

You can expect the customer is always wrong attitude". Opened something broken out of the box and it wasn't replaced. I had to deal with the manufacturer directly on PLE's direction because it wasn't their problem. The manufacturer was also a nightmare but did mention PLE are renowned for deferring blame. $500 wasted. Worst customer experience of my life."

Went to PLE yesterday to pick up a 8000$ dollar 4090 gaming PC the boys in store were fast and efficient and the build was extremely clean bit of a trip as I live on the other side of town and haven’t had a chance to run the pc yet but all in all clean store and great group of guys Not to mention the manager has a very clean CBR 🤙🏻

Website barely works. Attempted to checkout multiple times, even got so far to put my card details and submit order, but then it clears the cart and tells me off for having an empty cart

Don't buy anything, they say there's stock and ETA delivery before Christmas , only after asking when dispatch ETA would be do they tell me it's not even in stock. Absolute waste of time.

I do not recommend it for online shopping. I ordered a monitor online that had some issues (backlight bleed, faded colours, grey whites). It took 15 emails and two weeks to get the return accepted, and it cost me $75 ($30 shipping + $45 restocking fee). This is baffling as shops like Amazon or JB hi-fi will accept returns without any issues. I will not buy anything again at PLE.

Purchased 4 thousand dollar computer brand new and the lighting fan is faulty did they give me a second hand computer? Not happy will be calling them tomorrow.
