Decent pub feed thats pretty standard. Got The Parma it was as a decent portion and came really quick, only down side was the tomato passata sauce was pretty average. Keen to come back and try different dishes on the menu.

Booked dinner at the Bistro. Arrived on time to be given a table not yet cleaned after prior dinners. Ordered food and then waited 55 minutes for food to arrive. Then had to chase staff around restaurant as they failed to provide cutlery or napkins. Food ok but cold chips. Overall an not a great experience

This place is problematic. There are too many issues. Even the air con I couldn't get to turn on.

Foods are okay. Restaurant area is spacious and there's indoor playground for young children. Suitable for family and big group of friends to hang out.

We stayed at this venue in a family room and were quite surprised at how much room we had. Parents had own room with air con and kids were separate. We ate at the restaurant. There were so many yummy items to select from. I had the baby snapper and it was delicious. My husband had ribs and beef which he said was excellent, my mother in law got half a rack of ribs which were tender and a really big serve. The waiter for our table was excellent. He quickly put two tables together in a good spot for my disabled mother in law so she wouldn't have to walk far. I would recommend this place.

Came as a party of 7 with family visiting from overseas. You have to use a QR code to order and we received a text 45 minutes after ordering and having our money taken from our account that our order “wasn’t confirmed.” The manager, Harold, said it was an “issue with the system” and we were the only table who apparently encountered any problems. If you are aware there’s an issue with your garbage QR code system (which also automatically prompts for a tip), then send servers to the tables with a notepad to do their actual jobs. Had to engage the manager multiple times to receive a refund for a single meal after spending $200+ on food and drink, which arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes after we did. My mother ate 30 minutes after the rest of the party had already finished. All servers bringing food had ugly attitudes and would not make eye contact or respond to a “Thank You.” We would never dine here again or recommend it to others. Poor performance on every level.

We just held our staff forum of 500 people at Shoppingtown Hotel. The service from Porscha from booking through to event day was excellent. She answered all my calls, brought details to my attention that I didn’t think of and ensured a seamless running of the day. Max produced an amazing amount of food, more than sufficient for our team either great reviews from the team members. Thank you to the Shoppingtown Hotel team, Porscha, Max, Pat and all the great staff I didn’t get the names of.

I’ve been to many restaurants in the area, but this was by far the best rump steak I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection and absolutely hit the spot

By far the most disappointing thing about Doncaster is the Shoppingtown Hotel. As a local, staff are ordinary and most don’t know how to pour a beer. Food is good. You cannot survive by just having a great view of the city!

Had the pleasure today of running into our favourite waiter Mark who we remembered from Doncaster Hotel. He always gives exceptional service and stops to chat every time. Always smiling and happy. Hope you stay here for awhile as we are regulars ! Onya Mark. Emma

How can a single pub run out of gas to pour Carlton Draft 2 days in row and at least twice run out of the beer of the month in the last 2 weeks? The general level of service and attention to patrons by especially the older bar staff is nothing short of laughable. The only excuse ever offered is there is no managers available.

No stars would be adequate. Grilled tin peach salad would draw tears to your eyes. I despise paying good money for a meal that I could make better myself. As a type 1 diabetic, I had to wait over an hour for this pitiful meal. Never again. Do yourself a favour, don't go. Anna

Service was average at best, drinks were warm and the food was cold, dessert was a waste of time waited for half an hour to be told they didn’t have what we ordered even after they checked at the register, got our money back and left, also $5.20 for a glass of soda water is a daylight robbery

We were a group of 7 , looking forward to celebrating a family birthday . BOY WERE WE DISAPPOINTED AND LET DOWN. The meals were at best dismal ,they came out over an hour after being ordered, one of the meals came out when the whole table had finished their meals . Gemma the attendant was a gem and so apologetic for the hopeless meal service and offered a refund for one of the meals which resembled an excuse for a pub meal. Word to the wise pick somewhere else to dine with your friends and family and avoid the disappointment . DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY , GO SOMEWHERE ELSE NOT SHOPPING TOWN HOTEL .

Dined at the bistro before the Cripps/Curnow function! Avocado bruschetta looked like it had been prepared by a day care centre! Caesar Salad was not worth $30! Service was zero! Will never return! You cannot charge these prices and serve up meals like that had been prepared by 6yo !!! ….. horrible!

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in Melbourne. The service was absolutely terrible—if there was an option to give a score below zero, I would! We ordered four dishes, and each was served separately with a one-hour wait in total! The drinks were awful, and they even forgot my drink entirely. I had to stand at the bar for about 10 minutes waiting for them to prepare it. They had an inexperienced staff member handling the bar, and several people were stuck waiting in line. One of the dishes (souvlaki) was unbearably salty, while another (steak) was completely flavorless. On top of everything, the glasses for the drinks were disgustingly dirty. The place was unbearably hot, and there was no air conditioning or ventilation system turned on. It was incredibly uncomfortable and completely unacceptable! Absolutely unacceptable!

It was my third stay there and I would like to do so again if I had to. The room was so clean, nice and comfortable with all the facilities. The staff was very friendly. I must mention Mary especially, and the all the others were very friendly, polite and supportive. I am very happy that I stayed with them!

About nearly 50 of us went to celebrate lunch. The food was good, reasonably price & good services. It has plenty of parking.

My sister and I went for lunch at Shoppingtown today. Very disappointing 😞 the table surface was all sticky not clean at all. The menus had stuff and dirty marks all over them needed a good scrub.... revolting. There were dead blowflies all over the window ledge right at the table, and there were live blowflies all over the window. The order system was very slow, we ordered from a code on the table and it took well over half an hour to deliver. Considering we were only given 1.5 hours as a booking it was quite stressful wondering if the order went through or not. We always come here fir a catch up.but sadly we won't be back here.

I came in for dinner last night, and I have to say, Molly at the front desk was fantastic! She took the time to explain how we could buy tickets for a show we’re planning to attend. Her kindness and helpfulness made a huge difference and she greeted us with a warm smile!!

Came in for a celebratory lunch today with the girls, we were extremely impressed with the fabulous view, delicious food and attentive and personable staff. On the way out I stopped past Molly at reception who was extremely helpful at taking me through some of their upcoming shows that we are interested in attending.
