A large company who doesn't care about their customers. Don't book their accommodation as they will rip you off. I tried to do the right thing by them and it cost me money, along with a dodgy room.

Don’t ever work for Black Rhino they don’t care about staff and are so corrupt they try and sweep everything under the carpet just have a look at the VGCC Newsletters most of there venues hit with massive fines not only that all the breaches these venues face all venues with incompetent managers that Cleary are inexperienced in management yet incapable of running a business like staff telling customers how the CRTS are broken so the cassettes are out the back with thousands of dollars sitting there in the open without being locked safe staff sleeping with patrons multiple mind you and new found managers to be bringing there party life to work where it’s acceptable to do drugs and be totally cooked while you work and this company trying to cover up money laundering yes cover up shame on you Black Rhino worst company I have ever dealt with

Don’t deal with these people. They have ignored all my attempts to contact them about poor service from one of their hotels. I also sent a personal letter to the owner about my concerns and was totally ignored. Their behaviour is discourteous and extremely rude.

Absolutely woeful. Since taking over the Railway Hotel in Peterborough, the Black Rhino Group has turned the best business in town into tatters. The bottle shop rarely has enough stock to last the week. I feel for the poor frontline workers who consistently have to explain that they’re trying to increase orders to meet demand but are denied by the group. You’re forcing locals to shop out of town, we can’t buy what you don’t stock. Sip’n’Save should drop you and maybe support one of the other locally owned pubs. Pull your head in and listen to what the locals want.

Avoid all Black Rhino Group Venues. All they are doing is shutting down country town pubs. The Commercial Hotel Camperdown is literally falling apart, they have shut the Bistro, Pizza Bistro and Bottle-O. Only room left open is the Pokies. They have no idea the impact they are leaving on Country towns. What used to be the best pub in town, you can't even call a pub anymore. Money hungry city slickers.

So today unfortunately we had Father’s Day at the Cardina park hotel Staff were clearly under the pump But Kerry and Jarrod were trying there best to accommodate patrons As regular clients l expected the quality of food I have been use to Sadly not the case Our table ordered mains ( we where a table of five) Two mains came out Then 15 minutes later two more came out, then 30 minutes later poor kerrie realised my meal hadn’t come out She meantioned it to Jarred another 5-10:minutes went by and l got my meal It was the worst meal l have ever had Prawn and scallop risotto It was like eating rice cooked in dish water No flavour No substance 3 prawns 3 scallops swimming in a rice dish water No flavour GOD how l wished l had said something to The staff And ordered something else But out of RESPECT for poor KERRIE and JARRED l said nothing I added the purée pumpkin from my husband’s pork belly Which by the way the pork was dry made my meal at least EDIBLE To say lm disappointed is an understatement Food has gone down hill since you guys have taken over, I can’t see you guys winning any more restaurants awards But then on hearsay your group are only interested in the poker machines and the revenue it creates Good luck with that, From now on l will eat else where And there are plenty of venues that offer pokie machines Yeah not that you’d care but thanks for ruining our family’s day

Totally dissatisfied with our visit Peninsula Hotel in Geelong Staff left to deal with complaints and no management in sight to deal with issues

This company has ruined all 3 pubs in Moonta. Removing the kitchen from one, which produced the best meals out of the 2 remaining open kitchens. Stopped the complimentary booze buses. Closed one of the Bottle-O’s. And have generally turned all 3 pubs into gambling central with no country atmosphere. Don’t bother visit any of their premises, they have let their profit margins go to their heads.

I have visited multiple Black Rhino Group hotels and they are all beautiful venues with top service and fantastic amenities. Highly recommend.

Absolutely hopeless. I still haven't heard anything good about this mob. And WHY oh WHY did they have to move into SA, surely they could have gone somewhere else, anywhere other than here :-(

This group has wrecked Elgins Wodonga. Once a full house every Friday night before this poor excuse for a company took over has now been reduced to 1 person in the sports bar before they close while the suns out.

Shamrock Hotel Bendigo What have you done to a once great pub? Meals arrived wrong - twice - and so late it would have been quicker to go buy the ingredients and cook it ourselves. The forgotten fried mushrooms arrived slightly charred on the outside and raw in the middle. Staff were either stoned and ambivalent or frantic and trying to save the sinking ship. Was wondering why it was filled with tourists and no locals. Now I know. Serving sizes really small now too

What is wrong with your organisation. You took over the Commercial Hotel in Camperdown on the 1st of August. Closed the Bottleshop, so you lost the tradies. No takeaway meals, no takeaway pizza...so lost all the people who need a quick meal. No lunch Monday to Wednesday. Once again lost the tradies. No dinners Monday and Tuesday. We often called in on Monday for dinner. Lost the regular Wednesday cricket club attendance, because your meals were awful. We tried our regular Friday night dinner. The first night three of five meals were returned to the kitchen for a retry. Last week was marginally better. Menu tiny. Choice of about 5 different chicken dishes and little else. Garlic bread was a baguette that I could get at Woolies anytime. This is not a reflection on the staff. This is a reflection on the management. The Madden family ran a successful country, family and community pub for 56 years and in 20 days you have ruined it. I do feel that the people have been boycotting the pub from the minute you took over, you would know from your takings that you are doing something wrong......so you would think that you would work on solving your issues. You could do that by becoming part of the community. There is no new signage. Nothing announcing that the Hotel is under new management. All the signs are still on the outside. Takeaway menu is still up. What is wrong with you? Profits before people? You have made a huge mistake. Oh and I forgot to mention that the kitchen at what was a successful country pub is now closed after 20 days of operation under Black Rhino. But it is ok the other two pubs in town are laughing.....I know one of them is averaging 100 meals on a Tuesday night...not bad for a country pub

Moved into our country town a few months ago own all 3pubs shut down a bottle shop at one got rid off the booze busses now shut another kitchen at another pub don’t support the local country people how do you expect us to support your business do you know how to run a country hotel wake up you will not survive on tourist only
