Big thankyou to Bek! Very thorough and great customer service! Went into store today to find out options in having my Smeg oven repaired, unfortunately a few months out of warranty. Bek was very understanding and did her best to help resolve the situation. I have been contacted by a company already to have it repaired. Highly recommend, ask for Bek!

Accolades to Brent in the TV section who went out of his way to accommodate us. If only we could snare him every time we went shopping for homewares - well done !

Shittest customer service ever had, booked delivery for 20th of Jan and 20th called me driver call in sick, I said to reschedule on Sunday 26th and asked if it’s guaranteed will be deliver as I’ll be overseas after the week. Called on Saturday apparently was not even in the system, and the sales people in store say they couldn’t do anything.

Very poor customer service especially the so called in charge manager Nathan. He swore at us when we were trying to find out where the item we ordered was. We were told it would take approximately three weeks to one month to be delivered. But It had been almost two months since we ordered. Every time we went there and asked for the delivery date they just told us it would be a next week or two day later. Nathan told us the staff should not promise us any dates but then we were given a date every time we went so we trusted them and at the end we were so frustrated. We finally got the item but we will definitely not purchase some the store again. I should have checked the negative reviews beforehand.

I order an online item on the 17/1 for delivery on the 19th. it is now the 20th and the item is still not here now they are saying the 21st. This is complete bs customer service. There no information that the delivery was delayed. There has been no notification of any issues with the order or any email follow up. The good guys are treating us like mushrooms. Do not use their online service if you want your items.

Discount price tag was still on a foot spa $99 We were told $119.00 and sorry the sale ended last month some forgot to remove it this was on the 2nd Jan and Did not honour the sale price absolutely poor service!

Happy to find the fan I was looking for, and the staff were friendly and helpful! BUT, there was no air conditioning and it was hot and uncomfortable! Please provide cooling for both customers and the poor staff who deserve a comfortable working environment.

We usually buy all our goods from here. But not anymore. Our coffee machine stopped working within the warranty period and had an awful experience in-store trying to get it sorted. Currently $650 out of pocket, and I don’t expect it to be resolved. Kept getting told to give them a call if I had any further questions, but they weren’t answering any of my questions to begin with.

This is about their online store. Bought some items online yet when I called about it they couldn’t find my order. I was told about their “web store” which has a 1300 number. Called and waited an hour til I was cut off. Then I tried the online chat, which is the most obnoxious chat I’ve ever seen. Pings every few minutes to make sure I’m there, even though they aren’t. Chat took place over a period of hours, only to be told to email them. So now I’m waiting for a response. It’s been almost three weeks of effort. Never ever buying online from these guys again.

I ordered a range hood and paid for it over the phone it was a fisher and Paykel so had to be ordered they told me it would be in store in 2 days I left it for 4 days when I called to check on the order there was no record of the purchase it had never been ordered Total waste of my time I got my money back and will never use the good guys again

We replaced our phones today with the latest Samsung models. The choice was easy. However the help and service was amazing. Both Charlotte and Nathan were so helpful. Both were very friendly. All of the staff at Good Guys Moorrabin are very accommodating, helpful and appear happy.

We were enticed by the $100 (each for energy & gas) gift card to switch our energy & gas to AgL on June 2024. Almost 6 months later, we still did not receive a total of $200 gift voucher, inspite of several emails and call to the customer service centre. This is a misleading and publishing scam?!

Worst service ever. Sent on a tour of local stores to get my click and collect. They’re more concerned with their own inventory system than serving the customer

Rishi and the staff at the counter today were very helpful and friendly in finding what my husband and I needed. Prompt assistance with price matching + clear debriefs on what we wanted = win. Solid work team.

Everyone should lookout for Taqi whenever you visit the store. He is polite, well spoken and highly knowledgeable. He gave us good deals and explain everything in detail. Highly recommended.

A special shout-out to the guy who manages the warehouse. Last week I picked up a microwave and he was extremely helpful. Yesterday (Sunday) I had to take it back and replace it. On picking it up he noticed that the one allocated to me was not the same colour as the one I previously purchased. He arranged for the correct colour but identified that they were out of stock. He then arranged for me to pickup the correct one at the Brighton store. Overall excellent proactive service undertaken in an extremely professional and friendly way. My wife and I were most impressed.

rishi has been a great sales man today! He has helped me a lot from choosing appliances to organising delivery on the exact day I like. You should always ask rishi to help you out whenever you need a quick service. He’s super patient and willing to help out!!!

I did not like the sales guy Taqi. He judged us before we bought the mobile phone and told us to be confident when we are looking and thinking about purchasing a product. Like who the hell are you to tell me how should I behave ?

Good friendly staff

It was one of my worse experience ever. Poor customer service, unorganized system, poor communications. I purchased a split system on 13 of October, seller person sure me that we can get install. The sales representative assured me that they will install it on the 15th. Today is the 18th October day and I called them many times and asked them that if they are not able to provide me with right service, I want to return the purchased product and instead of arranging for the installation. I received a text message after this conversation with was the schedule date for end of November😳 , A day after they sent 2 deliveryguys to my shop to return it. I went to goodguys and was there for an hour from 10:30 and after an hour they told me that they can't refund the full amount today because there is a problem with their system. And they can only return some of the money to me and they will contact me for the rest of the money, but they had no idea when it will be . If your time and mental health are valuable to you, I advise you never step in to this store.

Coming to the store to pick up an online order only to be told the warehouse closed 30' before store closing time. This isn't mentioned in the order confirmation email or sms. What a waste of time!

Extremely rude customer service especially the asian lady at checkout. Please don't work if you don’t like your job and ruin other peoples day.

Good prices and good and friendly service.

I placed an order for 4 items (3 were unavailable and back ordered) in store on 29th June. I was promised by the salesperson that she would keep me posted when the back ordered items become available. Her promise never came through and I had to call or go into the store and speak to TGG team members that either seemed irritated by my presence or puzzled with using their system to get an update. It wasn't until I met Ve on 30th July (a month later after the purchase) in store for a routine order status update, I received a phone call on the same day saying my order was ready for delivery. A day later, I received a phone call from the same salesperson that took down my order a month ago telling me that mistake was made and one item will be in a different colour. Ve intervened and arranged the correct one sent from another TGG in rural Victoria. She even called a week later to make sure that I had received it.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I purchased a lg smart fridge 3 years ago it has stopped working and is still in warranty but because they have lost the receipt on there records I'm having to pay the repair bill this store is beyond a joke....

Helpful staff

We recently purchased a series of items from this store to stock up our new home. Our salesperson Taqi was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to give us his advice and input on what would work with our needs and our budget. We even had a fridge not fit due to a measuring error on our part and the team worked hard immediately to make the replacement as seamless as possible. We really appreciated their level of service and patience with us. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Thank you!

Terrible experience. Ordered a washing machine and they have struggled to simply deliver it. Never again will I use this store. The Team Leader was rude, and very unhelpful. Never again.

Very dodgy store compared to all others. Refuse to return faulty white goods within a month. Just have to go through the avenues to take action against them. unlucky for them I have the time! I would never shop at good guys Moorabbin again and people should know this is how they operate despite the law and their own terms on site.

Terrible service!!! Fridge turned up missing a leg and no crisper draw. Tried following up several times and never resolved. Kept saying someone will be in touch and nothing. How can you sell a product missing parts??

My daughter bought her first TV today. With her own money. We did not have the knowledge to make the right choice. The salesperson Mr TAQI T told me things about the new smart TV's that I never knew. His knowledge is remarkable. Very good store with friendly, experienced and knowledgeable salespersons. I give 10 stars:)

I was helped my a young person called Jasmine (can't be sure of spelling) and their patience and perseverance in finding an old tax invoice saved me $500. THANK YOU SO MUCH JASMINE! They could've ended the phone conversation with me and not gone the extra mile but they did, thank you thank you thank you

Doesn't want my money. Can't get a Samsung frame bezel delivered to po box, to a parcel point, to another store even at my own expense or transferred from one store to another. Shocking that a company doesn't want to help a customer spend money with them. 2nd time being disappointed with good guys.. couldn't get a $1600 multi function microwave delivered to my door last time even after offering to pay double delivery fee.. went with appliances online who delivers it into my house, unboxed and set it up for free

Fantastic experience at the good guys today! We were welcomed at the door with a complimentary coffee and greeted by 4 seperate staff. Ve helped us get a TV and a dishwasher and was so lovely! She was really helpful, could not reccomend her more highly 😊

I, once again, received fantastic service at The Good Guys Moorabbin. Representative Taqi T provided me with service during the COVID lockdown in 2020 over the phone for a coffee machine. At the store in November 2023, when I inquired about a speaker, he recognized my name and my voice. Both of us were able to put names to faces. I appreciate Taqi's passion, sincerity, and his dedication towards his career and his clients. It is a blessing for The Good Guys Moorabbin to have Taqi!

A couple of staff were too busy watching the cricket to serve customers in what was an experience where after fighting for a car park, it was disappointing to learn that as a customer you were an impediment to staff.

A Breville coffee machine failed after only 3 months. Despite going up to the manager, they refused to replace or refund it. Instead insisted on sending it off for repair which took a month. This is a blatant breach of Australian consumer law, which the manager basically said he wasn't going to follow. If I had the time I would've taken it further to consumer affairs. Not surprised a class action is now in progress for similar issues against JB hi-fi which is the same company. If you want a store that will abide by consumer law, go elsewhere!

Very good service

Shocking / nonexistent after sale customer service. Don’t return calls when promised. Strongly recommend you don’t use the home delivery service as they simply don’t show up and use the “ broken down truck “ excuse. Simply no customer care and shocking management for allowing such unprofessional conduct .

This used to be a good caring store, but I guess after the store manager change I'm suffering a lot. I submitted a repair 2 weeks ago and it is still sitting in store waiting to be dispatched. Instead of taking responsibility they are playing blame game with dyson. I won't recommend this store or even Good Guys after this experience. I know after this review it will take even longer, but I needed to call them out for their negligence.

VERY POOR SERVICE. I was sold a Samsung sound bar for my Samsung TV(also purchased here 3 years ago). Immediately following installation a fault occurred with the sound bar. After numerous calls/travel to an external repairer/expense incurred by me/and yet more calls..... I think I was a nuisance and was placed in the 'too hard basket' NOT HAPPY

The Good Guys" more like the "Bad Guys""

It used to be my go to store for all the white goods shopping but recently I experienced staff being being very rude and not helpful. At 1 occasion, the staff member shrugged his shoulders and at 2 occasion the staff shook her head as if she was frustrated. At a few other occasions, I felt as if I was not welcomed at the store. I think the staff need more training in customer service. They lost 1 customer. .

Like in JB hi-fi you can ask for a better price. Which I was given but when I went to pay for the item it wouldn't scan in at that price. The lady at the checkout was very nice and friendly and called her manager over for help. He looked at the issue for 3 seconds and said I have no idea and walked off. Very poor customer service from a manager. I have used other stores and they have been much better. I just won't be back to this one.

Thank you so much to Brenton at Moorabbin who went above and beyond to rectify a problem that I had when I bought a DVD recorder and received the wrong one. He was quick to sort out the problem and replaced it with the new unit. Then when I found that it did not have one of the leads he supplied one straight away. Great customer service and such a lovely guy who was only too happy to help - thanks Brenton - will highly recommend you to others in the future.

The young lady that helped pick out my purchases, a vacuum was polite and partly helpful, however the lady the served me at the desk was so rude, she barely acknowledged me and spoke to a colleague the entire time she served me. Additionally, she also really smelt of cigarette smoke in her uniform and I was quite a distance away. Really poor form good guys.

THEY ARE DEFINITELY THE GOOD GUYS!!! Bought my TV and various other appliances from the good guys in moorabin. Callum and Justin are probably the most decent blokes you can find there. They go beyond the minimum curtesy and try to give you the best price you can get. For eg. I purchased a fridge that arrived with a dent in it. Not only did they replace the fridge although I reported it to them 10 days later. They also restarted my gold conceirge from the date the new fridge was delivered. Another eg. TV remote stopped working properly after 6 months and the manufacturer only has a 6 month warranty on the remote. So they spoke to the manufacturer and gave me a new remote. I am so happy with the good guys Moorabin, I would do a purchase from them even if I lived on the other side of town.

Went in with a iRobot that won’t connect to my wifi. After 35mins of the staff member trying to connect it and apparently getting it connected (didn’t show me this) I was told to go try to reconnect it and record this so they could see what was wrong with it. I’d already spent 4 hours at least trying to connect it. Going to do what she said and go to a different store to sort it out. This will be the last time ever I shop at the so called Good Guys 😡😡

Just don't use them. 2 faulty dryers, can't even send to the correct address, cant give you any updates . The call back in non-existent . First dryer took 1 and a half months to be replaced. 2nd has been since November. The customer service is outstanding

Had a faulty washing and brought it back at 5:30 on a Friday afternoon. The manager Anthony couldn’t have been more helpful, went above and beyond to make sure the issue was solved. Couldn’t be happier with the service we received here by Anthony and the others. Thank you guys :)

Hands down the worst delivery service I've ever used. Careless. Was supposed to have a new washing machine installed and old one removed. The Good Guys (not good at all) came, refused to install the new one as they had to take the bathroom door off. Okay? Not rocket science. I installed the new washer myself. Had them return after multiple calls trying to book in a time and receiving no call back. They refused to take the old one because it leaked a bit of water from the bottom and it's a slip hazard, I offered to clean it up. Nup, left immediately... not his problem. Still waiting on a call back for a solution. Guarantee I won't receive one.

The service was so appalling. They refused to install the washing machine and then left the old on in my lounge room. They were meant to take it and didn’t. I’ve tried calling, they say they will call back and then don’t. The worst customer service.

I would like to thank the lovely John who served us. He was so passionate, knowledgeable, friendly and directed us to the perfect washing machine and dryer combination. I would highly recommend The Good Guys Moorabbin and their team but in particular John. Lauren & Matthew
