Had bowls prem game on outside to watch. Draws on for the members. Ordered the Chicken Parma. Which came out very quickly. Very happy with the size of the Parma and a good feed.

Very rude and unwelcoming day staffs, the elderly Asian woman and the Chobby bloke with Tatoos on his arms. Have such abrupt behaviour to myself as a new visitor. Zero hospitality sad

Food is ok what you would expect from this sort of establishment. Service is really good and friendly. Atmosphere is great I will definitely be back. Barefoot bowls is fun after a hearty dinner.

It's a hidden gem and lots of potential It's close to my house BUT watch out for a bossy lady employee thinks she owns the place and ignores your human rights Yesterday I was there no one in pokies tried my luck in a machine my friend who was sitting was rudely asked to stand and she doesn't give coffee to me and friend She doesn't like me for some reason but she can't deny my right because of my colour Please try It's otherwise a good silent place

Hosted a birthday afternoon tea. Food was delicious and the chef quickly put something together for my guests with dietary requirements that I had forgotten to cater for. Staff are friendly, bar prices are great and sitting in the winter afternoon sun was just fabulous. Highly recommend Clayton Bowls Club for a function.

The best darn suburban bowls club going around. It's 1980s decor, cracking good lawns, rough as guts OG staff from the 90s, pub menu that hits all the classic notes. It is an actual slice of Australiana that is NOT to be missed!

Just moved house so Walked around the corner from home with 4 kids went for tea there was not one person at the dinner tables.should ov walk straight back out my kids eat anything but they only nibbled it was bad it was disgusting un eatable no joke the waitress tried to collect the bill before we even finished she new what was put down was poisone.SO BAD.gotta be drunk be for food

Tonight dinner was at the bowls club. There wasn't a variety of food to select Desserr was horrible and took more than 40 min to get our desserts.

had our work Christmas function here and it couldn’t have been more enjoyable. The facilities were fantastic, the food was great and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The barefoot bowls was enjoyed by everyone. Will definitely go back.

They were very accommodating. The location, the amenities (especially the generous parking space), and the bistro itself was perfect for my daughter baptism/bday reception. The food serving size was generous too.

Cosy little pub with great staff and welcoming vibe. Food is quite nice, beer is always cold and the greens are well kept. The new manager looks to be modernising the pub a bit, whilst keeping it tasteful. Definitely worth a visit!

I went to a wake of my dear friend Richo Savy who passed on all our friends and mates attended it was a very nice place to celebrate there was very food and atmosphere superb good venue

Too little food for Christmas party organised there and fairly low quality. Lawn bowling was fun enough.

We went there for a Christmas break up just to bowl had a great time, Green was a little different. I haven't bowled on natural grass before only artificial grass.

The food is delicious and the lady that served us was so polite and always with a smile. I recommend the buffalo wings,salt and pepper squid for entrée and the surf and turf for main. Had a great evening ☺️

We have our family Christmas party here every year. Great food and friendly staff.

Had our Xmas Function in 2020 at the bowls club and the food was absolutely amazing. My sincere thanks to Margaret and staff especially the chef who provided a truly excellent meal. Will be back there again this year.

I'm one of the neighbours and someone's been singing for a while. All I want to say whoever is singing, is pretty good singer. If you (the owners) see this, please tell him he's welcome to sing every weekend!

the finger food for parties is mainly just fried pastry/batter with almost no toppings/fillings- samosas, spring rolls, wedges, etc. the vegetable pizzas were - 3cm round of dough with burnt cheese on the top - I coul not see 1 vegetable on them. the meals at restaurent are quite nice, so I was shocked at the finger food

we had a function here, the chef intially was lovely but as we got closer to our event this all changed, we came in many times to talk about the food with him, we were after advice on finger food amounts as we are not chefs and were unsure how much to supply. about 2 weeks before our event all of sudden he sent us an email threatening to cancel our event, saying we had not communicated enough with him, he was stressed, and saying as we'd said young kids won't need as much f/food as adults that we were trying to cheat him out of money. we were shocked. several things they promoised on the night like signs at door to tell our guests where to go was not done

we asked for clarification on our functions bar tab- as was very confusing such as very expensive wine we did not authorise our guest to access, as well as food items which we paid in the separate food tab, we never got a response from the manager that explained it (just a vague answer which was not any clearer) . the party cost us alot! you have to have faith the club has given you an account that is accurate, you really have no way of knowing with this kind of arrangement, so the club should be forthcoming when you questions why you're being charegd for food on the drink tab when you already paid the food tab etc
