Helpful friendly staff. Attended for lunch and the bistro was over half filled with what appeared to be a lot of happy customers. The meals were well presented and very nice. The premises were neat and clean. Prices were reasonable. Will go there again if over that way.

Food and people are great but the building is tired, needs updating.

This is such a nice place for a relaxing dinner or drink. The staff there is extremely helpful and friendly. I accidentally left my watch behind after a dinner there, and was able to find it the next day when I went back. They told me that they were trying to look for me the night before. A group of us ladies meet here once a month. The staff are very attentive, polite and nothing is ever too much trouble. It's spacious, inexpensive, comfortable and close to main roads. Parking is ample and it isn't noisy. Great Job

Always prompt service and food was delicious. My father had the barramundi which was tender and cooked beautifully. I had the pesto with extra chicken which was a very filling and well-plated meal. Portions are excellent for the price.

In the 12 years that I’ve been here at Glen Waverley, I’ve never heard of anyone coming to this place. The one time I come here since it was my birthday, I was told I was banned for taking a drink home without being told it wasn’t allowed and then was chased out by some crazy bald security guard working at the place and he was screaming out unsolicited slurs. Don’t come here, honestly ridiculous what happened and never had as bad of an experience I did here anywhere else. Many other places you can go to in Glen Waverley to enjoy yourself and feel safe. This places actually needs to train their staff and do thorough checks on them. I’ll reconsider coming back here once they get rid of this security guard.

The place is nice and looks okay, some of the staff were nice but one in particular who was very nasty. It was a bald security guard specifically on one night that kicked us out for getting food from another place due to the kitchen being closed when we had already spent approximately ~$150 on drinks and was going to spend more. We got kicked out without being able to finish our drinks but thought nothing of it initially. Next night, we come back because nothing else was open and it was our friends birthday, as we were about to buy drinks, we were kicked out and told we were banned without any mention of that the prior night. As we were leaving, we were chased by the guard as he was screaming profanity and slurs directed towards our group. It seems that this place needs to evaluate their staff and make some changes with some proper training, until then I don’t recommend anyone to go there as it is not safe when their own security are dangerous and unsafe.

What an absolute terrible security guard. We were yelled at by him for doing absolutely nothing wrong. We simply bought a drink and finished it outside (which is not at all illegal) and after bringing our friends to spend over 200$+ we were banned from the location. Lovely staff but horrendous guard we should remove him immediately to get our business back.He has some sort of ego and something to prove

Our support group had Christmas lunch today. Not only were the staff attentive, they were extremely patient with our large group making lots of noise, having a raffle and generally enjoying a really great Christmas gathering. Thank you Mountain View. We have already booked for next year!

Morning melodies are always great at the mt view

I was lucky to get a call asking if we were still interested in attending the morning melodies show. So my hubby & I went. The staff are wonderful. Andrew Portelli, the singer for that morning was AWESOME. The food was yummy. And Mountain View Hotek is a terrific place to go to. I going ago.

The food was very good and everyone at our table of 8 guests was happy with their meal. The atmosphere is not great as the dining room is in the middle of the place with no windows around it.

Food is ordinary. Not the best pub fare meals we've had. Service is good. However, the bistro is looking very tired.

The experience with our visit to this venue was amazing. The service was 10/10 and every meal on the table was 11/10. Will definitely be back and letting my family and friends know about the enjoyable evening ☺️

I'm really disappointed each time we are invited to this venue for catchup drinks. The venue, the layout, the staff. Lacking on tvs to be able to watch gallops or even the nfl.

My husband and I were there on Sunday for a couple of drinks and lunch with 2 other people , we did enjoy our drinks and meal. We returned the Wednesday afternoon and the female behind the bar said to my husband luckily I am serving you as you should’ve been cut of on Sunday and she even recalled my husband bought 5 pints but 3 was for him and 2 for myself in a 4 hour period ! After today and the female staff member bringing up telling my husband that we were staggering , which wasn’t true ! All I can ask 3 days later even if that was the case why bring it up now? We will not be returning to the hotel after the experience today and also won’t be recommending this pub to anybody else !

Thank you to Tim for squeezing in a table of 7 people last minute for Father’s Day lunch. We all had a great time. The food was amazing, the chefs did a fantastic job. We would have stayed for dessert but my 3 month old was getting fussy. Thank you to the team for your friendly hospitality
