Very typical of Harvey Norman stores all over the country. Friendly service, but nothing over the top, hence the 3 star rating.

Good ! But don't.get sucked into the extended warranty. Australian law = 2 years as standard.

I had an incredible experience with Lisa, an exceptional sales manager at Harvey Norman's furniture department. Her professionalism and willingness to help truly inspire me. She went above and beyond to ensure I found the highest quality leather lounge, and now I absolutely love it! 😀

I was here today with my 4yr old son and partner, we were looking for bedding and were met with a tense yet uninterested attitude by staff. Offering to help but obviously checking to see if we are up to no good, I asked one of the men working there to take my items to the counter whilst I looked around and he was accommodating and polite however when it came to making my purchase the other attendee was abrupt about asking if they were my items, as though I wouldn't be one to buy bedding. We made our purchase, spent $600 between us, initially i went to the electrical department of the store without my partner to look at kitchen appliances and a chest fridge and was met with an even worse attitude as the young attendee was hovering around me watching until I turned around to find him practically breathing down my neck. I believe to look presentable enough to not be treated as a thief with a four year old and a sciatica walk, quite a laugh at the joke of an experience I've had there. It's not pleasant treatment and regret to have spent my working dollars at this discriminatory store.

Congratulations to Craig & his team in the bedding section for outstanding service. We had a delivery problem & Craig personally delivered the missing bed himself on the day to ensure we had a bed to sleep on. It’s not a short drive to Murdunna & we were more than impressed with Craig’s efforts to ensure we were happy with our purchase. Thanks again 😁

We had questions regarding JBL speakers and asked to speak to someone who knew about them. Michael seemed very disinterested and clueless. When we asked if we could listen to something on the speaker he told us that we could listen to it during opening hours the next day. We were unaware it was close to closing time and didn't appreciate the lack of enthusiasm and offhand manner.

Bayden was absolutely fantastic at assisting me today! I cannot believe how good his knowledge of the stock is and how willing he was to help - 100 percent recommend his assistance - management - he should have a promotion or pay rise !!

I purchased a brand new Lenovo desktop from this store 3 months ago and right from the word go it didn't work properly so I spent 6 weeks calling the store twice a day everyday to talk about it with there staff as it's difficult for me to get there each time with the reply that they were all busy right now and they would call me back and never did until I finally got someone to talk to me about it and they said they would take a look at it and fix it that was 4 returns for warranty repairs ago and each time I've gotten it back it's been even worse than before also have sent 27 complaint emails each time got a generic email reply saying someone from the store would contact me within the next 24 hours they never have so today I'm going out there and not leaving until they refund me my money so my advice to any prospective customers is buyer beware that if they sell you faulty goods they from my experience will do absolutely nothing to help you

Me and my wife recently had the pleasure of receiving assistance from Lucille at Harvey Norman Cambridge, and I couldn't be more impressed with her customer service. From the moment I walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and took the time to understand our needs. Lucille was knowledgeable, patient, and went above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I was looking for. Her friendly demeanor made the shopping experience enjoyable, and I left feeling valued as a customer. I highly recommend seeking out Lucille for her exceptional service!

After recently moving, it was time to update some appliances. After I had done lots of research I had a good idea of what I was looking for. I went into the Cambridge Park shop and was looking around when Caesar asked if he could assist me. I had many questions re a TV and Soundbar on sale, as well as some of the other options and their pros and cons. At no point did I get the hard sell. As I was so busy after leaving to have a think and to consult with my partner I sent an email to Caesar asking for best price including extended warranty. He got back to me pretty promptly with what was an excellent deal. I was appreciative of his informative approach and the absence of “if we can lock in the deal today” tactics when I was in the shop. One very happy customer. TV and soundbar combo is awesome by the way :) the free delivery was the icing on the cake.

I bought a new fridge and they said it would be there the next day so I cancelled my day to be at home and the fridge still is not here. I even rang today to enquire about delivery and they reassured me it would be delivered , well it's still not here and it's 6.45 pm . Very bad management and I certainly won't be buying from Hardly Normal again . They had my money so they don't give a dam . Terrible service

We dealt with Karen and bought and induction cooktop and a Breville air-fryer. Karen was an absolute delight.

Great buy

They sell quality products but when it comes to customer service it's a complete mess. 0 customer service & there are extended wait times for a product to be delivered to customer. 95% of the furnitures are never available in stock in TAS cambridge showroom & needs to be shipped from Mainland Australia. Better avoid this place & a few staffs over there are very rude & discriminative to customers from other countries. Looks like staffs over there are treated the same way. You need to change the way you do business. I hope they close this showroom soon.

Sally had such wonderful interpersonal skills and a thorough knowledge of the coffee machine she sold us. She set it up for us and even carried it to our car for us. She took a call from us when we were making our first coffee at home to help us over a tricky bit. A 5 star sales specialist who gave 5 star service.

Lucille and Brandon were very helpful when we purchased our new tv and soundbar. They worked out the best deal and were lovely.

Brandon from Electrical was very knowledgeable and clear with their products. He catered to my needs and specifications of my room. He went above and beyond to finalise my new TV and sound system. Nothing was difficult. Highly recommend

The laziest storeman on the planet. The amount of rubbish laying about the back area of the business and the nearby grassland is nothing short of disgusting.

Matt and Brandon in the TV section were absolutely fantastic! I had absolutely no clue what to do buying a new TV. Couldn’t be more chuff with the set up I now have at home thanks to them and their wealth of knowledge! Would gladly shop with them again!

Purchased a couple things an LG vacuum an 2 electric blankets 2 different occasions Sally Lovell was our sales rep she is definitely the go to she makes shore you walk out with the right product not one person matches her sales abilities 5 star for her

They have a friendly and out going staff that are always willing to help especially a staff member named Sally Lovell who gave me a great deal on a vacuum cleaner

Very disappointed with Harvey Norman and Dyson. I purchased a Dyson V10 which just completely stopped working due to a battery issue. I have just been told that it will probably take 3 to 4 weeks to replace a battery. How on earth is this in any way acceptable. This shouldn’t happen in the first place but especially with it just being a battery. No apology either. Just to clarify this. Harvey Norman are 3 to 4 weeks to replace a faulty battery. Totally unacceptable.

I have had the worst customer experience ever ,been given the run around,nobody seems to know what’s going on,told to ring this one,passed on to someone else etc,The so called manager in the store seems to go missing when ever we tried to contact him..Pathetic service,we will never go back to them.😡

I purchased two remote control replacements for $64 each. The salesman didn’t inform us that there were no batteries included or otherwise! A little bit of extra sales help would be less of a negative experience! Unable to use the remotes until we go and get triple A batteries tomorrow! Thanks Harvey Norman still showing NO interest in customer care!

Our couch is the best thing ever invented. Worth every cent, it’s perfect. Our experience with HN Cambridge was a mixed bag however. Initially dealing with a particular staff member was difficult to say the least. We had a fine experience with the other employees who were easy and informative throughout the process, so we appreciate that. All worth it though, this couch is what dreams are made of.

I went to see the guys at Harvey Norman Cambridge about my phone. Broken screen. Everyone told me 'that's it you'll never get your information off it. Well Jacob DID IT 😀👍 I can't thank him enough. Jacob you are a super star 🌟

Some really nice staff and some that just want to make a sale and tell u anything to do that. Highly priced but can get a bargain if u price match against another store.

We had an issue with our internet coverage throughout our home and visited the Cambridge Park store. We were fortunate enough to be served by Sam who was very knowledgeable in the products he sold. He assured us the product needed to rectify our problem was a home mesh system which we subsequently purchased. Whilst we were there Sam also gave us tips on setting it up. However, at home the install/setup didn't go as planned ... a call to Sam had it sorted over the phone. We now have full coverage. It's so satisfying to be served by people who know the products they sell and can give their support when things don't go as planned. Thank you Sam for taking the time to help us. Such a bonus in this day and age to have someone like Sam who is willing to go above and beyond to make we the customers very happy!

I have to say that Kathy in your photo hub at Cambridge Park Tasmania is most helpful, patient, friendly and she goes out of her way to help all the customers who need help with the photo machines. I feel she is an asset to your business and I would like her to be recognised as such - after all the self serve businesses now it is so refreshing to have that one on one service - having said that all the staff in this shop are excellent but I think that Kathy holds a very demanding position with most customers needing her advice.

Just had the best computer help from Sam and Jake at the Cambridge Park shop. Would have to be the best experience I’ve had at Harvey Norman over many years of shopping there.

Service was shocking, he didn't even know what he was trying to sell.

Customer service in the furniture department is non existent. I just went in to purchase a new lounge suite. After 30 mins of walking around and being offered no assistance at all I'll be shopping elsewhere

5 stars for the delivery guys. We had an issue with a XL large fridge freezer that needed to be replaced under warranty. An extremely difficult 2 story lift up stairs with a bend half way up. The 4 men that came out were fantastic. They took their time to make sure it could be done safely, successfully and to limit any possible damage. They treated the appliance and my home like it was their own. Highly professional team & I'm extremely grateful for their patience, time and experience.

Disgraceful aftersales service!!!!!! We bought a couch (that is not cheap) and had a concern about it. The proprietor herself came back to us rudely and dismissively. Looks like she doesnt want to find a better solution to the problem, instead she just blamed it on us and made a lot of assumptions. They are happy to take your money but you will never get a fair aftersales service. Congratulations on single-handedly losing mutliple advocates of your brand!

First and last time I'll purchase furniture products from Harvey Norman based on my experience. This is also the first time I've ever felt compelled to leave a one-star review for a business. I would have thought that a $3,000+ investment in a lounge would indicate a reasonable level of quality/durability, but apparently I should accept that sticky spotting on the back and sides of my lounge was the result of being exposed to the environment of a normal lounge room in Tasmania and not a problem with the durability of the product or a defect. It's also worth noting that previous leather couches (not purchased from HN) have been situated in the same room and therefore exposed to the same environment without any deterioration. When it was raised that I was unsatisfied with the outcome of the assessment of my issue, the employee hardly provided me with an opportunity to speak, talked over me, was dismissive of the reasonable observations/points, and demonstrated no empathic communication skills whatsoever. When I complained about the conduct of this employee and asked for this to be escalated to a department manager, I was advised that this staff member was in fact the Proprietor of the Furniture Department and no remorse/explanation/apology was extended - so I guess that's that! It's also worth noting that the supplier initially denied liability due to the fact that '5 other couches were sold and there was no evidence of leather fault complaints from that production line.' This is fairly concerning in itself, as it is evident that if you're the first to raise a fault/issue with a product then your claim will be denied. Based on that logic, there will never be any evidence of leather fault complaints for the supplier to take into consideration if the supplier automatically disqualifies claims against their product in the first instance. Disappointed is an understatement.

Amazing staff. After a bad experience at another store the staff here are unbelievable. I can not recommend the tech guys highly enough. Alex, Toby, Jacob and Sam are helpful, friendly and honest. They actually provide service and have the customers' best interests at heart. They are an absolute credit to the organisation. There are a number of franchise operations under the one roof, and we have made purchases from virtually all. We don't live close, but the trip here is well worth it.

A big thank you to Sam Lew in computer department, for the wonderful service he provided to me today. Sam was very helpful.

DO NOT BUY kitchen appliances from Harvey Norman. And especially DO NOT buy from Anthony at Harvey Norman Cambridge. Do yourself a favour and go to Appliances Online or literally anywhere else. My family were long term customers but not any more. Update: Thanks Sharmaine - but clearly Harvey Norman’s franchised store specialists are NOT all committed to providing a high standard of customer service. It shouldn’t take public Google reviews to elicit a customer service response. Surely our efforts to deal directly with the store in the first instance should have resolved the issue. Sure, I’ll lodge a complaint and hope for a response from Harvey Norman that isn’t completely disingenuous.

Four bedding outlits at Cambridge and best deal was with Bunnings. Same bed as outlet next door but $1000 cheaper including delivery, set up and old bed removed. Tamara was very helpful and made the transaction very pleasant.

An inexperienced and clearly incompetent salesman sold my elderly grandmother two of the same product, knowing that it was not necessary. When I bought this up I was treated like I was stupid and looked down upon by a group of ugly middle aged men with obvious god complexes.
