Great environment, quite busy for Weekday lunch session. With 3 restaurants and 1 huge outdoor dining area, it’s got a great vibe. The chicken Parma was a bit dry but was tasty. Chicken wings we got we well made and tasty. Would go back to try other dishes

Great large pub with different sections to cater for everyone's demands such as beer garden, live music, pokies, function rooms.highly recommend this place & the pizzas are also amazing

Great atmosphere, lovely outdoor area with heaps of seating and very quick service. Food is great too with lots of options with good pizzas and steaks.

Too busy/loud on a Friday night. Have to have a reservation on a Friday night. Parking was difficult but not impossible. Food was mid. No table service. Busy bar, but staff kept things moving. Would be a vibe for younger folk who want the hustle and bustle.

Went to the steakhouse and what an absolutely joke of a place... $50+ for steak and chips only to come out with 5 slices of deep frid potato's for chips what the hell you oder chips get chips not potato chunks

we got kicked out for going to the bathroom not even chucking actual ceebs after we paid $60 on drinks too

One of the best beer gardens in Melbourne

Steakhouse 的和牛rump超好吃😋牛排天花板!沙拉跟馬鈴薯磚也超讚👍🏻

Well for $50+ you get a small steak, chips & gravy which is quite pricey and the quality is average = nothing special. The beer garden has plenty room and nice outlay thats it not worth coming back anymore

Amazing space Classic Australian beer garden taken to the next level! Killer pizza bar and pub fare Great range of beers Highly recommended

Great place to go for food and meet friends. Very close to oakleigh central and east to Access. Staff are very friendly.

Long term patron @ The Steakhouse and its continues to impress from atmosphere, customer service waiting staff, quality and preparation of meals. The business is run very well not just for patrons but also for longevity of the business. No problems in paying for a fantastic all encompassing experience!

Good jams in the beer garden. Can't get Carlton at the back bar is the loss of a star

Good pizza and atmosphere, big TV to watch the game and some big name gigs too

I just ate here 09/02/2025 for my father’s 79 birthday.. wow the food was amazing! The atmosphere was so good as well. I will definitely be back.My family was so impressed..so was I ..

My favourite pub will always go back

Parking is a nightmare, because the place is hard to get to any other way than driving. But once you are in, the vibe is really cool, it’s a massive venue with a heap of space, the beer garden is an oasis and each of the bars operate like their own venue. Food is well on point and the beers are ice cold.

How can you get a chicken Parma wrong… very dissapointed. The staff were very apologetic, and I got my money back, but that’s not the point. Raw chicken is just unacceptable

Service was great, Atmosphere great, however our food on Australia Day was worse than extremely disappointing! Since when do Australia Day BBQ chops, coleslaw and chips @ $29 pp consist of 2 fat and grizzle filled four quarter chops, the cheapest cut, barely cooked, grey in colour and as tough as nails? There was absolutely no rendering of any fat. The coleslaw had NO dressing. The chips were fabulous. We returned our plates to the kitchen and asked for the chops to be cooked more. When this was done, the fat still hadn't been rendered. We pressed on and attempted to commence eating but not even the steak knives provided, cut the meat. You cannot tell me that a person in charge of produce did not know that he/she had been given such poor quality meat by their supplier! For mine, it was bloody rubbish. We were very impressed with the Manager, who refunded our money after seeing both plates. NOTE to the Nott; an Australia Day BBQ Chop should be either Loin or Cutlet, just ask Sam Kekovich! The beers were great and from a very extensive selection.

Great food & drinks & atmosphere & live music. Had the best afternoon here with family & friends. I would highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to return.

It was too hot, even inside

Listening to a great duet in the beer garden. They are called Roan n Oak so you need to come along for an arvo drink. Great music and great food and great atmosphere. Well don’t

Had a farewell lunch here, when we arrived the staff just looked at us and walked away. Nobody attended to us for a good 15 minutes. So we went to look for a staff to tell them we made reservations (wasn’t a busy time, restaurant was pretty empty). A bit disappointing given that this is a restaurant in a hotel, service standard was not up to expectations. But the delicious pizza made up for it. Especially the mushroom one.

Disgusting hygiene. Move spoted I the kitchen. Informed staff and was told that management is aware of the issue but nothing has been done.

Great vibe and good food. Ordered terriyaki salmon salad and it was lovely. My partner ordered a capricciosa pizza, which was delicious.

Long wait for food and very pricey

The Notting Hill Hotel is a great spot that has something for everyone. The outdoor area is fantastic—spacious, laid-back, and perfect for enjoying a meal or drink in the fresh air. Whether you’re catching up with mates or just relaxing, the vibe is spot on. Inside, the pub is cozy and welcoming, with a nice dining area that feels relaxed but still has a bit of style. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home straight away, which adds to the overall great experience. The food is a real winner here. Even with a decent crowd when I visited, the service was quick, and we didn’t have to wait long for our meals. The portions were really generous, and everything was tasty and well-cooked. It’s clear they put effort into what they serve, which is always a good sign. Overall, the Notting Hill Hotel is just a great pub to visit. The outdoor area is a standout, the food hits the mark, and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Whether you’re there for a casual lunch, a drink after work, or a weekend feed with family or friends, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to. Definitely worth checking out!

What a disappointment of a place and night, l rang earlier and asked when the main performance starts and we were told it started at 8pm and the show started at 730pm. Wrong information given. They employ poor and disgusting outside security for their events. Security guard 197 and a dark haired women security guard with thick black eyeliner were both abusive to the patrons. They tried to start a fight instead of been responsible and clear headed. Upon leaving they asked where is your friend which l replied in the toilet, then they started with their abuse. We asked for their security numbers and then they tried to say we have you on camera pushing the dark haired security women which is a lie when we didn't do anything besides exiting the venue. Beware of this venue and their lying security.

Great vibe and love the live music

Food was great but the lady in the kitchen was very rude. Went to pick up food and said that one was missing and she replied very rudely and slammed the dish on the bench right infront of her so it was a struggle for me to grab as I’m not very tall

One of the best pubs in the south eastern suburbs. Can't go wrong. The cauliflower bites and exceptional. The burger is very good. The bbq meat platter is excellent. Was fairly quick service too for how busy it was.

Very enjoyable meal, time spent there comfortable

Lovely outdoor area and good food

2018: Have been coming here for 20 years for reasonable food and a low-key atmosphere. Have celebrated family milestones here too in the various rooms for hire. Also, The Nott ticks the pokie-free-venue box for me. The last few years have seen it transform into something a bit fancier, and though a parma is $26, it was pretty good tonight, so I'm hoping that the improvements in the kitchen are here to stay. Haven't tried the steak house owing to hefty price. Good selection on beer on tap and the beer garden buzzes in the summer months. Best of the bunch given the absence of decent pubs in the south eastern burbs. Update 20 Dec 2024: Can't say I still have the same level of affection for the Nott as I used to. Whilst the updated Tap Room looks lovely, the food is letting the venue down. The GF Pizza is always horribly undercooked. Tonight, there were 2 olives on my $33 capricciosa. The only available prosecco by the glass gave me a headache within 15 min. That there is no chips and veg option option with a classic parma and/or steak is also annoying, given its place in Australian pub culture. Underwhelmed and disappointed.

Very busy for mothers day

The pizza is fantastic! And great service

Great local pub! The pizza only took about ten minutes to cook, the dough was light and fluffy and the garlic prawns divine. Really reasonably priced.

Great location and service for functions, the team look after you from start to finish to ensure everything runs smootly. We'll be repeat customers, especially for the pizzas! 2024 update: still really good

Horrible customer service. Terrible service. The Steakhouse is disgusting. Smells bad, Muggy and cramped. It doesn't feel welcoming at all. Customer service is bad. Poor food. Just drinks but you can get that any pub really. Terrible for dietary restrictions. Overall bad experience. Never bringing my people here.

Such an amazing venue - especially on a beautiful day out in the garden with the beautiful trees. At such a busy time but the food was amazingly quick and super tasty! Superseded our expectations. Thank you.

Bad experience. Vibe is gone. Bad service. I won’t be coming back to the nott again despite working 100m from them. We’ll find somewhere else for drinks.

Be 21 again, smash a few beers and recap on all the things you did as a student. Just don't look at the bill, beer prices have gone up since 1994.

Great place to meet with friends for food & drinks. Service is pretty good too. The wood fired pizza is so good! The price is a bit on the higher side but the serving sizes, service & atmosphere make up for it.

What a nice pub. Beautiful environment and lovely fast service. Spend Friday and Saturday night with Monadh university people. Great enthusiasm in the environment 👍 BTW come early for easy parking

Always fantastic

Great place. However, they seemed to be understaffed when we visited. So it took them appr 40 mins to get our food ready. There are plenty of vegetarian options. Parking can be challenging if you are hosting an event as the parking at the rear can fill up quickly. The cost for food seems a little overpriced but I guess that's everywhere these days.

Was very full in the beer garden for a Wednesday night. Chicken parmigiana a touch overcooked, salad was dismal, more to salad than rocket leaves, radish & dressing.

I am very disappointed in their service. I booked online because there is no option to speak to anyone, and I was directed to use their online booking system. I initially made a reservation for a midday seating but realized that it only showed seating for two when I actually needed seating for seven. I quickly went back online to change my reservation just seconds after receiving their confirmation. However, the next day, I found out that they can only accommodate four people, not seven, and this was just a day before my booking. I've been trying to navigate their website, but I've had little success. I suggest that you update your website to allow for instant changes to reservations, as this is currently not possible or have a person to talk to who can help. Now, with my booking cancelled just a day before, I have to say thank you, for ruining our Christmas Lunch but I won’t be returning.

A great pub, especially for get together an after work. Have been a here a number of times, it can get pretty busy so it’s always best to book a table. The beer garden is pleasant to sit in on a not too hot summers day and it is toasty and warm inside during winter with the fire place going and mulled wine on offer! Meals are bistro style, order at the counter and collect when your buzzer goes off. A good variety of food to suit most people, especially as they have the main kitchen plus a seperate pizza bar and steakhouse.

Not surprised for being selected winner for Metro Melb! Indoor & Outdoor seatings are equally comfy. Special shout-outs to Tracy, Chef Himesh, Caitlin, Chef Andy, Carla, Jasmine, Chef Horeb & Chef Harrison! 🙌 Highly recommend the Parma - it’s a classic. At times, they also do The REUBEN sandwich as a Special.

The place is huge. It doesn't look big from the road but a great location for an event. Plenty of outdoor undercover tables available. Normal pub style meals, pizzas etc. You can't go wrong.

Great rib eye steak. Even though my order was accidently ordered medium instead of blue. Very polite apology which make it even taste better. Thanks you Chris

Had the schnitzel. Greasy and tasteless. The potato salad was ordinary.

Food, atmosphere. Great place to go .

Great ambience and vibes. Drinks were a tad expensive but good place to visit to watch sports game or hangout with friends

Amazing gem. Can't wait to come back

Great food, great drink.

Upon arriving through the entrance from the carpark the pungent and unmistakable smell of urine instantly violates your sense of smell - simply it’s nasal carnage ! Once one regains their equilibrium you would think the best form of recovery is to head straight to the bar - wrong The cheapest bottle of wine starts at $65 yep $65 in the middle of a cost of living crisis this is outrageous however what’s a bigger slap in the face is the same bottle of wine in the bottle shop 30m away is only $23 - There are plenty of other honest Hotels that deserve your patronage & hard earned give this joint a miss !!!

Vibes are good and food is good but the best part is the red headed hunk of spunk at the bar named Steve. That boy can serve me a pint anytime. He deserves a raise and a billion dollars as a bonus.

$16.75 for a 1.125l jug of Pepsi max? How the hell do you justify that? For those who say it’s a pub buy a beer. It’s the same price for a pint!

The environment, food and vibe are so good. We ordered the chicken parma and crispy barra. We especially love the fire wood area, smell so nice and feel warm. - We have visited here for several times, the pizza and platters were delicious also.

This place is always buzzing.. great vibes, good crowd! Inside and outside seating with fairy lights, creating great ambience

A great neighbourhood pub, with a range of dining options (steakhouse and bistro) and a great range of beers.

This was strike 3.. when you are paying a $32 for a Parma it should have sauce? And not burnt ( 2nd time) as for the salmon.. well.. it was definitely cooked prior and warmed up.. was cold and overcooked.. dryer than the Sahara.. NOT FOR $38!!! stars were for the amount of people in here on a Monday night.. very impressive
