Great for ufc

Went in there to catch up with friends for Christmas over the weekend, but our visit was short-lived - no air conditioning meant it was hot and sticky and we could hardly breathe! Not to mention the health risk it poses to airborne diseases. We had to leave. I hope they plan to get it fixed soon - won't be back until they do!

I had the pleasure to meet Mr Jake at TAB - Century City Walk. I just have to say, his service was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm smile and took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. Person with great passion to serve whoever walks to him. He went above and beyond to make the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It’s not often you come across someone who really cares about giving top-notch service like Mr Jake does. I want to say thank you in my home country way - Fiji.. Vinaka Vaka Levu, Jake! (Meaning Big Thank you). I truly appreciate all your outstanding service – you made my visit so much better. The staff's work attitude in this pokie place is terrible. It's no use putting up a reservation board. If the customer is close with staff, remove the reservation board and let him play the game regardless of the waiting time. It's the worst pokie place.

Great place to meet up, good selection of beers and drinks reasonably priced especially the “specials”, lots of big screens with good atmosphere. Only LET DOWN is one of your staff.. an overweight Vietnamese barman… he’s very rude, no greetings despite me saying Hi and Thx.. please notify him so he can improve on personal/social skills. This has happened repeatedly. The rest of the staff are excellent and friendly.

Horrible service from a staff member. An older staff member (woman), which i assume was a manager. We brought in outside food, not knowing that wasn't allowed, as 3 to 4 other tables that day brought in food from outside. We were yelled at from across the room in front of everyone.. what sort of staff member addresses her customers like that? She could have approached us and told us nicely that it wasn't allowed. She then went up to my mate and said outside drinks weren't allowed .. as tables LITERALLY in front of us had brought outside drinks.. if she wasn't so grumpy and rude she'd look less rancid and a fentanyl addict. However, the dude with the stash and puffy hair was really nice and chill, so shout out to the dude.

It's a really good place to come and eat, but there is a shortage of food sometimes. On the other hand the people that work here are lovely. Very friendly.

VISH has always treated us with respect and kindness, and never fails to make us feel welcomed. he ensures we are seated with comfort, and his service has always provided a great experience.

The century city tavern is the place to be. The manager Vishal brings the luxurious experience together. He makes the best drinks and gives my mates and I a laugh and a half every time we visit.

The amount of screens at this Tavern ensures a good variety of sports of choice which is awesome. A few good snack options too however last night was disappointing. Nachos' were ordered and the description says that it comes with salsa, guacamole and sour cream. The Nachos' arrived without guacamole or sour cream. The reason this was the case was because they were low on sour cream and guacamole, which is fair enough however this should have been communicated before bringing out the dish or an alternative should've been offered/us not be charged the full price ($15). Some guacamole was offered after I had asked and was told there was no more sour cream. Apparently it was the last of it. Our drinks also did not arrive and we had to go up to the bar to ask for them. Our drinks were ordered before they stopped table service. Still a great place for sports on a big screen but more communication would be appreciated.

my friends and i have been coming here regularly for years. this place has a great vibe, good food and wonderful staff. we come in constantly to see our favourite staff, like vishal, who always look after us and share a good laugh. drinks aren’t expensive and are made well.

Friendly staff, nice big screens to watch the cricket

Went there with some friends for a casual catch up and I was delighted to be served by the most amazing staff Con and Kaitlyn who were simply superb in their customer service and hospitality. We had a great time there and will make this place our regular meeting spot from now on. Thanks guys!

Great place to watch sports or hang out with mates for a drink. Staff are professional and super friendly, and the atmosphere during major sporting events i.e. AFL/UFC is fantastic. Nice selection of beverages and bar snacks are also available. Will be back soon!

I intended to give it a ZERO star it deserved rather than minimal one the scoring system forces. At 5pm Sunday 30 July 2023, while really enjoying watching AFL game between West Coast Eagle and North Melbourne Kangaroos on a big screen, suddenly an apparently senior staff switched the channel without a slice of prior notification or consultation on any concern with such channel switch. It's a courtesy, respect or merely a gesture! The senior staff's attitude is vulgar, too self-centric, presenting none of a minimum of respect to customer, extreme lack of customer-dealing skill. Do something, Mr. Owner, before customers vote by their feet!

Very rude security guy, his face was so angry, talked to me extremely rude and keep staring at us. I think he got problem with his attitude. Friendly waiter and staffs at the bar but not the security.

Food was poor taste quality and size pizza for $15 wouldn't eat for free mentioned it and was told the supply brings it. Should have been refunded.

Love this place - my fav live boxing telecast venue. Service has always been super friendly. A bit disappointed that they said y’day when I called up that the boxing was on but when I turned up, the event wasn’t ordered. I better ask in future, “are you really very absolutely sure you have it?” Some comms issues needs to sorted. Update: Found your Facebook page -have liked to follow. Thank you for your response.

Drinks are great. They also display multiple premier league matches on their multiple screens which is amazing.

It's a good choice to watch sports events here with people who loves it. The vibe, stuff and environment are all good here. They have lovely decoration and lots big screen TV to involve in. We did joined the AFL, it was a nice experience.

Been coming to the tavern for the past 20 years. It was my local bar during Uni. Great place to catch up with friends. Lots of screens to watch sport. Good place to watch the football finals and meet friends. Beer is always cold and the wedges are really good.

Great place for late catch up with your mates. Situated inside the century walk, it is quite a strategic place to visit for a quick beer and games if you like. There is an outdoor area for smoko if you are smoker. There is also a gaming room with jackpot machine just around the corner if you are into gaming.

Absolute trash and not covid safe at all. Let a small amount of people into their empty bar area, but crowd people into their gambling area. Then have the audacity to say tell us we're only allowed to have a drink if we're sitting at a pokies machine. Disgraceful venue

Poor admin allowing not just pool ball-bouncing, pool stick-wielding, but also screaming, yelling kids running around floor, and extremely unprofessional abusive security guard, if they all are not of your concern, good luck, hope you have a good time there!

Nice environment but understaffed. Also, did not care about the majority of the crowd. Watched UFC261 with the majority of customers this Sunday but they refused to turn the sound on for the main projecter where UFC was on, ironically sound was on foott where hardly anyone was watching. Asked staff but they sais that they were instructed by the manager to change the setup. No way watching UFC at this pub again. LP

Didn't give me same luck as most times I visit but great either way, just that I reckon their machines especially dragon cash which I swore was gonna pay off today could be somewhat more giving :p of majors and maybe a grand my way??

Pretty average, went on Saturday 29th and there was a rabble of fresh 18 year olds drinking beyond their capacity, the bar maids kept telling them off for being loud and spilling their drinks yet kept serving them while a disinterested security guard sat at the front and played on his phone. I didnt realize this place was run like a childcare centre.
