Very disappointed with the delivery of Washing Machine last 01-02-25..Delivery was supposed to be between 12pm-2pm but arrived before 4pm..no phone call or sms message or apology for arriving late..they were not able to install the Washing Machine too despite paying premium delivery service..👎

Purchased a BBQ from the good guys Blacktown for my husband for Christmas When it was delivered the packaging was damaged but we didn’t open the bbq as it was a surprise for my husband Christmas Day went to put the bbq together and a number of panels were damaged I called the good guys Blacktown and spoke to Sharon, this lady went above and beyond at a very busy time for their store Sharon was probably run off her feet, but she showed empathy and helped to have the damaged parts replaced, Sharon kept us well informed, throughout the process Sharon’s service was outstanding, will definitely shop here again

I had a very disappointing experience with this store. I purchased a TV, washing machine, and fridge, but the delivery process was a nightmare: • The first two delivery attempts failed, even though I was told the items had arrived. Nobody showed up. • The third attempt was delayed again without clear communication. When the fridge was finally delivered, it had a dent. I’ve been requesting a replacement for a week, but there has been no response from customer service. It’s unacceptable for a large company to provide such poor service. If this issue isn’t resolved soon, I’ll have to escalate it to Fair Trade. I hope they improve their processes to prevent such problems in the future.

Had a fantastic experience with Sharon at the blacktown good guys store, where she looked after my order despite all the trouble with TGE shipping and out of stock items. Couldn't be more thankful for her help! Side note: do NOT use TGE for any shipments, avoid like the plague

I had a very disappointing experience with Good Guys in Blacktown. I purchased a fridge and washing machine during their Black Friday sale, but on the expected delivery day, I received a call saying they were out of stock. When I visited the store to sort things out, the staff were unhelpful, and the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of offering a proper solution, they told me I could either get a refund or choose a different product. Since the sale was over, I couldn't get the same items for the same price. I ended up having to settle for less suitable alternatives and pay more. This kind of poor customer service and dishonesty is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend shopping here. That one was my first and last time that brought anything from Good Guys.

The staff at Good Guys was rude and unprofessional, especially Katrina, who was incredibly difficult to deal with. Her lack of manners and poor customer service is unacceptable. It's disappointing that companies hire individuals like her, as they tarnish the company's reputation. I will never purchase anything from Good Guys again.

I am deeply disappointed and inconvenienced by the customer service I received. I purchased a Westinghouse fridge during the Black Friday sale, expecting it to arrive on December 1st. However, when I inquired about my item, the sales manager responded with rude and offensive behavior, informing me that the fridge was not in stock. I was given the unacceptable choice of either waiting for an indefinite period or receiving a refund. Having already moved into my new place and waited six days, I was left without a fridge. To make matters worse, they refused to honor the sale price, insisting I pay the full display price instead. No compensation or alternative was offered, leaving me with no option but to miss out on Black Friday deals elsewhere and pay full price for a fridge. This experience was not only unfair but also distressing due to their offensive attitude and lack of support when I sought a resolution. I feel completely let down and will be reporting this to Fair Trade for their broken promises and unacceptable conduct. I will never return to this retailer.

I had a great experience purchasing an item at the Good Guys Prospect yesterday. I entered the store and was greeted by a guy asking if I required any help, 'yes I'm after an air fryer' (I know I'm a bit behind the times! 😂) he took me to the area and not much longer I was approached by Karla the sales person asking if I needed any assistance. She was so friendly and very informative, no pressure selling, she gave me space to think about my purchase. I ended up spending more than I wanted to originally spend but I believe I purchased a better air fryer and still got a great deal. Thanks Karla, I really appreciated your assistance. Now I've just got to use it!!!

I want to specifically write this review for James at this Good guys. I’ve bought all my home electronics with his guidance. When I started my new role last week and When I was asked about when was it that you experienced the best customer service, I would say it was with each interaction with James. The way he knows each department; be it the washing machine, televisions, sound bars, vacuums, etc. He knows his products, he genuinely recommends you the best. He is the best, he really takes care of his customers, values his customers, understands theirs needs, asks the right questions, gives you the best he can. I have to say, I have been to so many good guy stores, so many other competitors but James and his way of customer service, brings me back to buying only from this store.

Not much here that I liked

Not living up to the name I've been a loyal customer of The Good Guys for years, having bought over 20 iPads and various other products from them. However, my recent experience has left me extremely disappointed. I purchased a Samsung TV, and after just 3.5 years, it completely shut down—turning on and off with sound but no picture. When I called to explain the issue, the Good guys refused to fix it since it was outside their warranty. I was then passed to the sales manager, who was quick to brush off my concerns and told me I would have to deal with it myself. It's frustrating that The Good Guys didn’t acknowledge their responsibility under consumer law, which protects customers when products fail well before their reasonable lifespan. A TV should last much longer than 3.5 years. Instead of helping, they referred me back to the manufacturer, which is not my problem. Now I'm stuck having to purchase a new TV after such a short period. I won’t be shopping here again.

Purchased the Hinese 145L Freezer in store. Les that served myself in store (blacktown GOODGUYS) I recommend his customer service. He was very friendly, well mannered, explained everything I needed. He even double checked my receipt to make sure all the information was correct.. Highly recommended. His very passionate about his job. Thank you..

I purchased a fridge a dishwasher and a washing machine from them The purchasing experience was great-but I did not expect the delivery process was utterly horrifying My brandnew door was scratched-I didn't say anything only pointing out the area of damage. The delivery guy was very defensive and upset of me pointing this out. He then becomes very aggressive judging why I didn't wait for my landscape to finish before delivery-I told him it's not of his business to tell me when to buy. He then becomes very violent towards my purchase-He was dragging the fridge without the packaging against the garage concrete floor. I heard the scratching noise and I asked him to stop immediately. He was not very friendly about it. I asked him to leave immediately not to enter my house. He was confrontational and intrusive. After that I called the good guys to get another driver to put the fridge to the right position as i paid for premium delivery-i was told they will not send anyone but to leave the fridge in the garage given what has happened. Their behaviour was disgusting. Buy from appliances online-Their delivery is much better-I regretted my decision.

I am buying this store since 2013. Today when I returning faulty grinder she was speaking very rudely. She doesn’t have any idea for customers service. Even she was aggressive on me and she don’t return my money back.

Thank you to Nick from Good Guys at Prospect/Blacktown store for his amazing help and fantastic customer service over the last few weeks with our purchases. Nick was very resourceful in product information and took the time to answer all of our questions - nothing was too much trouble and the delivery of our purchases was well organised by Nick. Would definitely be back in contact with Nick if we need any other purchases from the Good Guys.

I called and asked if they price match with Myer, and the woman said yes, but then I got transferred to another department and no one answered the phone. I found the same item on Amazon, and it can be delivered the next day. It's a shame, I really wanted to buy from you, but it looks like Amazon got my business this time!

I would say one of the best places to do shopping for your house with the best price.

The sales person was kind and courteous. But the lady who processed the invoice at the payment desk was rude. I don’t know how she is still keeping the job as a customer desk person. bare minimum a smile to greet the customer is expected. Hopefully someone trains them. Manager at Blacktown store was well mannered as well.

WARNING: DELIVERY DRIVERS LIE AND GOODGUYS ARE AWARE OF THE LIES. My order was meant to come on Saturday and the delivery drivers said “We won’t be able to deliver today because of parking but we can reschedule tomorrow (Sunday) between 9am to 11am”. Not only did they not come at the “scheduled” time, they ignored my phone calls and left my text messages on read. I then called Goodguys and asked to be transferred to the manager. The manager then advised that the delivery drivers lie to get out of situations, the only compensation given was a delivery refund. He also said that the area I live in is “hard to deliver” due to “no parking”, even though theres residential parking and street parking. Items were then delivered on Monday (2 days after the initial delivery). People have had the same issue in the past and management is aware and there are no actions taking place. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO BINGLEE AND PRICE MATCH WITH THEM. IT IS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE DEALING WITH LIES AND EXCUSES.

I have a very bad experience with them. I'm not recommended to go to buy anything from there. I have to buy a TV and go there. I checked the 75” TV and they said we have one available at the time. We will able to deliver you Monday. I got called today they said we are not able to send it tomorrow. Cuz we don't have in stock. We can refund you. I said whyn't you guys tell me before it's not in stock. I have seen he checked it and said to me it will be delivered to you on Monday. Now they make an excuse. Really had a bad experience with them.

Had a good experience buying a dishwasher here. They offer dishwasher removal and installation as a product, so getting a new dishwasher after the old one broke didn't take much effort. They organised for a tradie to come in and do the whole thing.

Prospect store was wonderful, I was served by a lovely, polite young man named Nicholas, he was extremely helpful, patient and informative, nothing was a bother for him, It was a pleasure being served by him.

Good selection, good prices, plenty of parking, let down by poor customer service.

Not a good experience on terms of Customer service Dissatisfaction with services and staff behaviour

Customer service level is minus. Staff not helpful and would not assist with the dishwasher which was leaking but was purchased less then 2months ago. They would not replace it and they want to send technician 2 weeks after the issue is reported. I would never buy anything of westing house or from good guys. The staff did not handle the case in the way it should have. They just try to throw you from one person to the other and make you repeat the issue but would not address it in a correct manner. Extremely disappointed customer.

Went in store looking for digital portable radio no one would serve me I think if I was looking in the fridge or expensive item I would of been served

Yesterday, Saturday 18/05/24 I purchased the Shark Cordless Vacuum with Self Cleaning brushroll. The young lady that helped me (Rajiska) was wonderful, I'd researched online, but on her advice I chose a slightly different model. I couldn't be happier, firstly with Rajista's service, and secondly with the Shark vac, the cleaner is brilliant, battery capacity was ample to vacuum the house, as I have a Newfoundland dog who brings dirt, leaves etc inside it picked it all up without any problem, it's easy to manoeuvre, goes under most of the furniture, and has a canister bigger than other stick vacs. I'd recommend this Shark vacuum 100%, I've read some reviews complaining about the noise, but they must have much more accute hearing than me.

My experience with this store was mixed. Taylor was highly profession and efficient. She sold me a fridge, a microwave and a coffee machine. But after that all problems started. There were problems with the delivery of fridge and microwave. Wrong microwave was sent to me, for some reason it took more than 1 week to send back ordered microwave. There was a lot of confusion. After initially agreeing to deliver the fridge, Good guys refused to deliver the fridge citing stairs in the apartment. I ordered the same fridge from Harvey Norman and the fridge was delivered seamlessly without any problem in no time. Even the store cash in the wallet was changed many times without any notification. Positive part was that Good guys refunded money in no time, delivery with coffee machine was smooth and also got a lot of help and support from Sharon.

Had the worst experience in terms of appliance delivery and exchange. I got a damaged refrigerator delivered to my place. Waited 4 months to finally have a replacement fridge delivered. They can not specify and finalise delivery time as well and their delivery contractors are extremely unprofessional did not call for delivery and claimed they did. Cancelled delivery which was due today. Customer support was not very empathetic as well. I would urge people to not buy from Good Guys. They may price match and give you 10 dollars less in price for a product, but trust me it is not worth the hassle that follows after. I am still awaiting the replacement fridge delivery. They treat their customers like a joke once you have handed your money.

I am so thankful for the service Anu K provided to help me find the right vacuum, but they did not have the vacuum in there store, yet he went beyond and help find another store that had the same vacuum, which he managed the locate the closest store at wetherill park, to pick up the Dyson vacuum I purchased, I am so happy with the service he provided me, he was very professional, highly recommend.

Parthi was exceptionally in his customer service ( + patient) , he helped me find the right item.

Me and my daughter was humiliated by Taylor a staff in Good Guys prospect. We just went to get checked vaccum cleaner it was giving some trouble. Taylor’s behaviour was rude n discriminatory. Manger Dustin didn’t listened our request on her bad behaviour he diverted the issues and ignored us.

Great store. Nice staff always ready to help. Got a new TV and they matched a price from another store with a smile and great service. Top class guys

Placedan order online for a toaster that was supposed to be in stock. 3 visits and a month later and still no toaster. Clearly their stock managment is stuffed and are happy to steal funds and not provide the goods. I will never buy from here again.

Good Guys Blacktown, the shopping experience started of relatively positive with good attentive staff and it went down hill from there. I requested that I required the following day delivery as I had organised the plumber andat my home location to install the newly purchase dishwasher and range hood. Firstly I asked the staff if I could directly transfer the money into the good guys bank account. However they were unable to give me such account. As a result I was unable to make the full payment only half payment as I had a daily limit on my card account. Therefore it was agreed that I would pay half today and the following half the next day. As a result I did this and returned the following day and paid the outstanding amount at 10am. After completing the payment I asked the sales lady if someone could assist me in purchasing a retro colour fridge from them as well. The sales lady said she would be there in a minute and assist me and then pointed me in the right direction towards the fridges. I was happy enough with this and proceeded to the fridge section. I have been diagnosed with motor neurons disease and at this stage I am confided to walking with to hand crutches to get by, however I am not able to remain standing for a long while as a result of the illness. So I waited and waited and eventually 20 minutes went by with no assistance. So I finally left the store due to lack of service. But prior to leaving I was approached by the same sales person who assisted me prior as to why I was leaving the store. I kindly explained the situation and left the store due to the lack of customer service and assistance. The same day at about 4.02 pm, I received an email from ASKO stating that the delivery of the dishwasher would not happen tomorrow as they had not received full payment, hence the no delivery. I rang good guys Blacktown and spoke with staff there, staff were friendly enough, but soon started to blame me the customer for the whole fiasco. They firstly stated that if I paid the full amount on the day this would not have happened and also is if I had a larger limit on my card I have had no issues. Unfortunately the blaming kept on coming. Eventually the matter was resolved with the assistance of Asko, who I must admit were fantastic and commendable in there efforts to resolve the situation. Unfortunately due to the fact that good guys had not transferred the money within a certain time frame, the delivery was postponed and unfortunately the tradies were unavailable. However on the bright side went to Good guys at Marsden Park and received excellent service. In and out of the store within 6 minutes. They assisted with my disability and also the purchase of the retro fridge. Highly recommend Good Guys Marsden Park and big 0 for Blacktown good guys.

I cannot praise the exceptional service we received from Nick enough! Amidst our struggles to order an oven online, facing out-of-stock challenges and an hour-long wait on the phone, Nick stepped in during our in-store visit. Despite the oven being invisible on the website, they went above and beyond to secure the same model for us. Their assistance turned a potential headache into a delightful experience. It might have been a normal day for Nick but we truly appreciate this! Kudos to Nick for his outstanding customer service!

Incredibly rude manager at the Prospect store working 31st Dec 2023. Refused to return unused item and wanted to charge extra for restocking fee. As per the policy there is 100% refund on unused items. Should not be working in customer service with that attitude.

Told us over the phone that we could next day delivery if we came to the store to pay for our dishwasher. Hopped in the car, came and paid. Then told not tomorrow but the day after for delivery. waited in all day. Didnt come. Called and was told too late for delivery tomorrow, it would be next day. waited in, didnt arrive. Now told delivery in 2 days. Guess what ! We waited all day, called told they came and no one home !! Liars ! Now told wait another two days! We paid $55 to have this dishwasher delivered 10 days ago !! and still haven't got it. We will shop at Harvey Norman and Bing Lee In future. The Good guys couldn't care less about their customers, once they have your money !

I purchased a fridge online on 6th December. It was supposed to be next day delivery. However I get a message that it will only be delivered on 16th. On 15th Dec, I’ve been notified again that there is a delay from supplier and it won’t be delivered on time. Today is already 20th and there has been no update when it’s going to be delivered. This is a poor customer service. I will never buy from these guys now.

Fridge was not delivered on time or day agreed. SMS after another changing time of delivery to only end up with NO SHOW. Zero follow-up from Prospect store and the courier. That was an $85 Premium delivery, emptied old fridge and everything ended up perishing because The Good Guys / couriers couldn't make a timely phone call to say they can't make it today. After calling them they advised delivery will be in 3 days! I was promised Fridge in Stock in at Marsden Park warehouse. Waste of time and resources. 0 / 10 !

Worst experience ever. I received a text message from the good guys the day before the delivery saying my product will be delivered between 9am to 11am. Called the good guys 3 times on the day of delivery as my delivery was delayed and they didn’t seem to care. The customer service team was rude and said we can’t do much. I felt so helpless and my whole day was wasted waiting for my product to get delivered. In the end , it didn’t get delivered and I didn’t even get any compensation for the late delivery and poor service. If I could, I would give zero star.

Absolutely Discussing Customer Service we traveled to this store to purchase a washing machine as we are foster parents to 2 x 1 yr old under privileged babies my husband Paid for the washing machine on Saturday 25th but we needed to come back on Sunday 26th to collect it as we needed our bigger ute. We drove over 30 mins on Sunday to this prospect store ONLY to be told the manager sold our washing machine that we PAID for on the preview day to someone else…. How dare u conduct your selves in such a manner u have no idea how hard it is to travel with babies who have been through soooo much truama SHAME ON YOU the manager who has No compassion or good customer service- Extremely un excusable behaviour

All electronics products are available ranging from low to high. They did deliver as per the committed date. The shop is huge and has a lot of parking space. ......

I recently visited Good Guys Blacktown for purchasing Gas Cooktop, Oven, Dishwasher, Microwave, and Range hood. Dustin helped me in making the product selections. He is very knowledgeable and the quotes provided was also very competitive. I would recommend Good Guys Blacktown for any kitchen appliances purchase.

Anyone planning to buy from good guys Blacktown beware they are not only dishonest but extremely rude what a bad horrendous experience buying Fujitsu split ac with paying $700 for installation not only the employees of good Guys are rude very dishonest also the ac installer are the same I would definitely not recommend anyone buying or dealing with them 3 weeks now I have paid nearly $3000 ac plus installation neither I have the ac or update tried to call they are extremely rude and practically shouts at you and hang up so guys if you guys are planning to buy from good guys or use their services BEWARE

Had a lovely experience at this location. Not our local store as it was out of stock. Spoke to Carol R over the phone, she was extremely helpful and kind-hearted. Carol then organised the docket at front desk for me to collect all in under an hour. Would definitely go out of my way to purchase here again!

I went to buy a microwave today that wasn't in stock in Penrith's store. Penrith checked online and advised that the unit I wanted was available at Prospect. I was greeted as soon as I entered the Prospect store and directed to the area I needed. The purchase was organised quickly and easily, as was the pick up from the loading dock. Each person I dealt with was pleasant and helpful and the whole process took only 10 minutes.

I can’t thank Nick enough for his help. He was courteous, knowledgeable and knows how to smile. I’ll definitely be back!

Quick to sell you an item but when it comes to faults and Warranty good luck. Emailed them 3 times and called twice with 2 weeks and got no reply back. For such a big store they don't having anyone in charge of reading and replying to emails? Finally when spoke to someone they claimed the ac unit was damaged by the installation technician and will not cover it after telling them the box was damaged. Looks like department of fair trading is the only way to get through to Good Guys Prospect, very disappointed with your after sales customer service

Very rude sales staff,I rang the Blacktown store today 18/07/23 inquiring about an iPad,I was still speaking and the rude female in sales hung up as I was still talking.I will take my money elsewhere for better customer service..management need to train their staff in customer service.

I’ll say this could be one of worse good guys Blacktown store in terms of customer service. I went there to buy AirPod 3rd gen, just asked one of guy with pony tail about the product and comparison. He said go for AirPod pro even after telling him that I don’t want to spend that much and in return he told me that you are buying Apple so you have to spend money. I try to find another guy (heavy build) to help me find the price for 3rd gen and this guy was selling me AirPod 2nd gen for $300.5, even after confronting about the price on their website he didn’t listen. Hate to say worst ever customer service experience.

Had to exchange a device bought recently from another good guys. Staff Tony A didn't have any patience and made the exchange process really hard. after I explained why I had to exchange the device dir to some faulty. he asked us to contact the staff who I originally bought the product from and sent him an email about the product,only then he can exchange the product. At the end of the conversation, i asked him about which product he recommended to connect my NBN box, he lost his patience and push my stuff away and left. It is VERY RUDE. Really bad experience.

Had a terrible experience. The customer service at the checkout desk was very rude. Less than a year ago bought an item from here, and it had a 2 years warranty. Recently, it stopped working, and I took it back, hoping that I would get a replacement for it as I needed it urgently. Not that I faced such rude behaviour from them, but they did not help in getting a replacement. I'm very much disappointed at store (The Good Guys Blacktown), and I do not recommend it to anyone who wants to buy a good product with a good customer service to help them out as well as a good policy for replacement and recovery. This place is a big disappointment and waste of money.
