I truly hold this venue close to my heart. I've been visiting the Burvale since I turned 18. The beer is crisp, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm. I usually stay at budget places but prices at the Burvale not much more. And amenities much better. You have everything you want there. Situated on a huge block of land what developers would pay the mind boggles. The only downside is car park needs resurfacing. Very rough. Yes will stay again.

Winner winner .. chicken dinner

Came for a bmx trip, stayed for 2 nights. Good for the price we paid. Was nice and quiet at night (apart from noise from the pub until around 12am which was expected for a weekend) close to shops and everything we needed while we stayed. Beds soft and comfortable. We got in late at night and staff were great and helpful. Only negatives i have is that we found a half full takeaway coffee cup and a vaccum manual on the counter i assume from cleaners. Also didnt have some convience appliances such as a hairdryer, toaster and microwave which could have been useful.

Best place to watch the ufc and some of the nicest bartenders ,honest and welcoming especially claude who is always fair honest and bringing the good vibes

Another glorified pokies venue with zero atmosphere or sense of community. Have been here countless times for a slap and can only remember walking out ahead the one time. Save your money. There's a cheap rent by the hour motel behind which id suggest might be a more wholesome way to spend your evening.

The most beautiful hotel in Melbourne. Attended Christmas 🎄 lunch with my family and was treated like royalty 👸. Spectacular food, professional/friendly staff, stunning atmosphere. If I owned this place I would be highly honoured. Will definitely return in the future.

Went on steak night 18/12/24 and ordered our scotch fillets and sat waiting for 30 minutes after placing our order only to be told there were no scotch fillets. The manager on duty who refunded our order still charged us for the two soft drinks we ordered. Doesn’t get much worse.

If you are going to charge $26 for fish and chips that tasted like they came out of a freezer and were microwaved forget it. Very ordinary.

Nice local pub in Nunawading. They’ve got pool tables and they are in good condition. They have weekly house tournament on Thursday. Heaps of good pool players there. Friendly staff. They’ve got a big screen as well. Pubs have been renovated. They are new and clean now.

Had a family gathering of 30 on Saturday 9th November staff were wonderful would like to especially thank Darcy who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome nothing was too much for him so thankyou Darcy from the family of 30

The gaming machine manager ,said I was tripping on acid and would not let me lock my mobile scooter inside, since it had been stolen from there before this happened on 9 Nov at7:50pm as I did not get his name I hope the boss has a good chat with him. Because something is wrong with the man. What I copped was discrimination. If you want you scooter or car stolen come here 😆 it happened to me

Convenient location and clean room

Rooms was quite outdated, could do with makeover, blinds didn't even cover windows, queen bed mattress likes speed humps, charged $179 after quoted $130 ish, then had to pay $100 bond. Shower taps a nightmare. More like a cheap budget hotel. Service is great just room disappointing.

Still a very enjoyable venue. Big Win tonight on Dragon Train (they have five not four like FHC). Put 300 Into chillin wins Dragon train .I was at $280 when ball feature struck then in middle I got the Grand 8 bonus of $1825! Another good win at the vale

Had dinner here Friday night the service by madi was excellent, the food we both had barramundi and prawns was absolutely delicious highly recommend……..yum

Not a typical hotel. There is a small casino there but overall it’s not so loud.

Myself and my cousin visited last night for dinner and was very impressed by staff Darcy. His service and manners were outstanding. Will definitely be back thanks to Darcy.

Quaint, comfy, quieter than most but good for a trivia night or a few games of pool, only went in the sports bar so can't comment on the rest. Food is ok but limited selection

Bar staff was incredible especially Tommy, if he’s not manger he definitely should be hospitalitly was above and beyond definitely recommend coming for the experience

I like this hotel. Very big. Great parking, access can be a little tricky if you are not familiar with the hotel. Staff are very friendly

Outside was a bit disappointing. Once in the room it was ok. Bathroom needs a refresh. Limited service. No breakfast. When checking in, had to find staff in the gaming area to do the check in as per the signage.

Thomas is a polite, charming and sensational human being who offers nothing but the best customer service. We are so lucky as customers to be graced with his handsome presence. What an amazing experience!

Ive been to the Burvale hotel quite regularly and had a fantastic experience thanks to Thomas. From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming and attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable and taken care of. He had great knowledge of the drink menu and made excellent recommendations. What stood out most was his professionalism and the way he handled a busy crowd with ease, always maintaining a positive attitude. It’s clear he genuinely cares about providing great service. I wholeheartedly believe they deserve a promotion. Keep up the amazing work!

There are positives to the Burvale which include free games room for kids & fast service. However the past two times we've been, there were multiple items unavailable from the already limited menu. I mean, how do you run out of pasta? Our last visit took the cake, they forgot my meal! It was a bit of a misunderstanding that resulted in me being left with no meal (garlic bread was accidentally counted as a 5th meal). Then when we re-ordered the single meal no compensation was offered. They were understaffed. The venue was quiet as though popularity has faded.

Hi myself and my cousin came to the burvale to play pokies . But one of the staff was so rude her name is Phoung. I asked her to call me a taxi and was treated so badly . She was so rude it was on Tuesday the 3rd September at mid night. I have never ever been treated so bad . I’m a customer you don’t treat your customers like that . Not at all good for your business she does not know how to treat customers. I’m sure you having more customer complaints from here she is always miserable no manners . I was disgusted in her behaviour

Fantastic venue, so much room to sit and unwind or get up and dance. Lining up at the bar is quick and easy. Previously stayed in rooms and they are neat and clean.

Just letting the management know that l will not be back to have a meal after waiting for my Christmas pudding but was told they had run out , only to be offered some small bite size cake , l don’t know how they ran out considering the guy told me not many people ordered the Christmas in July meal , plus my friend ordered a meal and they forgot about it until she went and complained so 2 hours later she received it , staff should of let us know sooner and asked would we like a coffee or our money back ,so it’s not good enough

Long hair and they don't care , Orders meal for kids and I, Found long hair longer then my size 11 shoes , told the young guy at the bar in the bistro , not telling a lie he gave me free drink of beer and said we will look at this, Another lady at food order counter said there is no one here like that longs hair...so my question is from where the here came from, Jesus help me or help the staff cuz they don't think it's belong to the hotel, and I don't have long hair and I don't hate this hotel, Anyway good customer service but not enough maturity, Good luck and happy hairy day

This is a good place to stay for a travelling worker....rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant serves nice food.

The room is clean and tidy. It may require a bit of maintenance/renovation but the price is affordable. Awesome service and location if you are looking for an accommodation around burwood area.

Had a great night at venue we stayed overnight in the motel everything was good until end of the night security wouldn’t let us go into gaming room because we came from venue I thought that was disgraceful we were treated unfairly personally I don’t want to come back there again if that’s how they treat good paying customers On our previous stay it wasn’t an issue don’t understand why this time security told us decision came management bouncer (N36) was rude and arrogant

We stayed at The Burvale for 5 nights. Staff were very friendly, Hotel was quiet. House cleaning was always on time and did a great job. Meals in the restaurant were of great quality taste wise and served on hot plates (amazing) quickly. We would recommend and we would stay there again.

We enjoyed a nice meal there last week, wanted to comment on the welcoming and helpful customer service we received from Mia and Ollie (?). The entrees came out quickly and hot. Mains followed quick after, (but it was a quiet night). Food was good, fairly priced and good serving sizes. Thanks again.
