Really disappointing food and service. Meals took between 55-75 minutes to come out with the last to arrive being the kids meals. Food was bland and overcooked. Shame as the bowling and arcade are excellent.

We had a terrific family night celebrating our sons 18th. The venue is well layed out with plenty of seating. The food was great and service from the staff fantastic. Thankyou to Emily for your help with arranging a cake which was delicious and the staff on Fri 21st were very friendly & helpful. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great spot

We like going there for the games, we have so much fun even though we're adults. The food is actually really good, but no one who serves you there ever smiles...

We love GP for a weekend break. The kids are entertained in the arcade and we get to chill out at a table and nibble on chips and read the weekend newspaper. The red-haired manager is a star! He works all areas, always has a smile on his face and nothing is ever too much trouble. He's worth bottling. The only thing we'd change would be to make the hold of the grabber in the Claw machines a little tighter: according to Jase on Nova it can be adjusted.

We had a great experience at General Public in Dingley. It has a great atmosphere, nice staff and the food is good with reasonable portions and prices. We had the 2x kids' meals, which are appropriately named, the i don't want that, beef burgers and chips. The burgers and pizzas are nice too. Great place for families, friend catch ups, or dates.

Dirty…busy so service wasn’t great. Need more staff. Tables and bathrooms dirty. Men’s toilet reeked. Bowling was fun. Kids and adults had a ball. Some technical issues with the bowling screens which were rectified.

It's fun here. Drinks and games are a bit pricey- but a place where the adults can have a but of fun while the kids do too is worth it every-now-and-then

Wow what an experience, amazing venue for the family but also just for a pop in. Loved the bowling the lanes were really good and you get some good value for a game compared to other places. Great pool tables for only $3 a game your getting the best bang for your buck. But in particular the staff were exceptional and really welcoming the whole time but especially Kai was really helpful for the whole of our visit. Food was really good especially the burgers and for the price they were huge. Definetly a great place to bring the family but just want to add a final touch and say how good of a job the staff are doing. Can’t wait to come back!!!!

Couldn’t speak any higher of General Public. Booked a primary graduation after party on a Wednesday night and the team took care of the rest! Matthew was super helpful with the booking and payment arrangements whilst Isobel and Lilly looked after the kids so the parents could take it easy. Highly recommend.

Honestly hands down the best place to go and relax or chill with friends. They have Arcade games and even bowling. Some nights are packed but the vibes are honestly amazing. Love the service as well! Communication is fantastic, they would update everyone if anyone wanted to do any last order for the kitchen and bar. Highly recommend going there if you want to do a little birthday event or even a work event.

Good chill place to have some fun. Wish they had numbered billiard balls and half decent pool cues.

Staff member Reid was awesome; explained the party packs, showed us the various seating options, bowling and arcade games. Polite, respectful, knowledgeable. We ate a delicious pizza each today, but will be booking a party for 10 teenagers and 12 adults with food and drink. So looking forward to coming back again soon. A perfect venue to celebrate any age birthday (I’d suggest from 8 years) or corporate event. So much fun and a gigantic venue.

Booking for 30+ people managed well. Ordering food easy with QR code and no need to split bills as paid for as you order. Food was ok, pizza was rated highly. Music slightly too loud in eating area. Small problem as we booked bowling after eating but handled superbly by on site manager with Kids very impressed with outcome. Credit to manager on duty. Great for team party or kids birthday.

Great venue for the whole family.

My partner ordered battered fish for dinner he could only eat one bite. it was doughy and undercooked told staff they said they could remake it but he had lost his appetite for it and wasn’t offered a refund. Waste of money. Asked for glasses for our drinks and was pointed to the paper cups for the water while everyone else around us had glasses not sure why we couldn’t. We Ordered a babycino for my son and came in a small take away cup was mostly milk not foam was not able to give it to my son was way to big for him. Not a great experience probably won’t eat here again.

The Accel IT team and I came down to have lunch at General Public. The pizza was amazing and the atmosphere was great!

Bowling Alley was average. They have a rule where you can wear normal shoes or bowling shoes, unlike normal bowling alleys where you have to wear bowling shoes. I'm not sure I would go there again. Their arcade area does look like it could be a bit of fun, though.

Fun place for kids and adults. If you want a bowling lane, make sure you book early. They have bumpers for the younger kids so every turn is not a disappointing gutter. Only gluten free pizza is an option for those GF people out there.

While it’s great for family gatherings and catching up with friends, the lack of security is concerning. A confrontation between intoxicated patrons happened tonight leaving the young employees to settle the situation. And without security, it raises valid safety concerns. If anybody's child was an employee there, it would indeed be worrying.

Excellent place for family. Have all the entertainment under one roof, bowling, pool, arcade, dessert section. Food was surprisingly nice - usually these places don't have great food but at General Public Dingley , we practically ordered 80% of items on the menu and none disappointed. Well except for the Diablo pizza which didn't really have much heat but it's a family orientated place so I guess it's just to be safe in case a kid took a bite.

Fantastic atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. The cocktails are incredible, providing an amazing selection of different types of cocktail fitting every possible taste, along with a lovely selection of food options. Very friendly vibe, lots of fun for the little kids with a small amusement area and bowling alley with a good music selection, and the fun bonus of sports playing on the projector. Well worth a visit.

Went here as a part of social group event. Food was ok, pizza, dip, chips, usual casual family restaurant type. Venue is very big. Carpark not so much. We did bowling and the arcade games. The claw machines were quiet good with a few people being able to get a prize. Can't comment on price as this was paid for from association but overall would reccomend as a good party hosting venue

Good place for teens and families. Surprisingly good food. This factory building is unheated and was cold. Bowling lane malfunctioned several times. Arcade is very expensive, costing $2.50 for 1 min of entertainment.

Came for an after work function- great food and atmosphere! Went for the bowling only, but there's also loads of arcade games for big and small kids. There's plenty of restaurant seating - recommending to friends and family 😀
