Bought something online and would want to verify regarding the order. There was no one picking up the phone after trying at different time of the day.it only came through after my 5th tries. But that alone i still have to wait for 10min

Check in as soon as you arrive. All expectations met. All clearly explained.

I had plans to come here in a couple years to build a whole new PC with thousands of dollars. But I found out they cancelled all the 5090 pre-orders and not only that, jacked up the price from $4600 to $7,000. There is no way I will return to Scorptec. I can't trust that if I lock a price in, that I budgeted for, that I will get that price. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. Honor your pre-orders next time.

Weird retail store where you have to stand and wait to get even retail products. I don't need sales. I just want to buy one exact thing yet I basically need an appointment with you..? Horrible atmosphere

I had a perfect shopping experience at Scorptec Clayton. Aki was incredibly helpful, patiently explaining the performance differences between different PCs and recommending the best option within my budget. Even as someone with little knowledge about computers, I could understand everything clearly. I’ve been using the PC for two months now, and the quality has been excellent. Engaged in bait advertising, took hundreds of thousands of dollars from customers and held onto it for a week knowing they wouldn't be willing to honour the orders before cancelling orders instead of keeping people in a queue like they wanted. We're now all worse off since other companies have kept their queues intact while Scorptec clearly doesn't care. Won't be giving them my business anymore.

Attended Scorptec Clayton as a walkup customer with very basic knowledge and needs of what I required. Akis was extremely helpful and patient and navigated the sale making sure I understood things (again, very basic knowledge here). Would recommend Scorptec to help anybody with very little knowledge of technology to set themselves up, they know their stuff.

I’m very disappointed with the service from scorptec. I bought my business computer in for repair under warranty early November. I was assured it would take 3 - 4 weeks maximum. I was relieved as being used for a hair salon I needed it back before the Christmas rush. I heard nothing from Scorptec. I called them mid December and was told it wasn’t fixed yet, I complained and was told they would speak to whomever was responsible for the repair and I would get a call back. I never recieved a call. Since then I have tried to call every 2 weeks and I get an automated message saying ‘we are too busy, please call again another time’ It has been almost 3 months and scorptec have not bothered to contact me once. This has severely impacted my business. Please respond.

Took money for a pre-order they couldn't honour. Did not give anyone a choice to sit in queue, just cancelled the order and acted like they were doing us a favour. When confronted about it, said it would take an additional 3-5 days to receive the refund, even though Osko direct transfers exist. Unethical business practices, will never shop here again and will warn anybody about ever using them.

I just ordered a gaming laptop for my content creation a few days ago, It should be dispatched within 2-5 days, still no order confirmation. i saw negative reviews about this store but i'm still having hope that my product get's delivered in time. i'll keep yall updated. UPDATE: I GOT MY GAMING LAPTOP AND IT WAS FAST! Scorptec was also quick with their responses.

I had a great experience at Scorptec Clayton recently. Patrick helped me out over the phone when I was looking to buy a gaming PC. He was super helpful and made sure I understood all my options. But I especially want to shout out Jake C. I came into the store with a bunch of questions about computer parts, and Jake was incredibly patient in answering everything. He took the time to break down the details of each component, explained what would work best for my setup, and gave me a solid understanding of what I needed. He didn’t rush me and made sure I felt confident in my choices. It’s clear he knows his stuff and cares about helping customers make the right decisions. Both of them made the whole process much easier, and I really appreciated their help. Would definitely recommend Scorptec Clayton if you’re after good advice and service.

Terrible customer service experience. They’re happy to take your money and sell you faulty products, only to turn around and blame you for the issues. I ended up with two faulty products in a row. I purchased a motherboard and returned it the next day because when I took off the pin protector it had bent pins. When I brought it back, I was questioned about why I didn’t return it the same day. Well, I picked it up when the store was closing, and I live 40 minutes away. Instead of understanding, I was told I didn’t know what I was doing and that the problem was mine. I asked them to handle the warranty process since they wouldn’t exchange the item, and I bought another motherboard because my desktop which I use for work was out of commission. They even had the audacity to say, “Why would you buy another one? If we deny this warranty claim, you’ll just get it back.” I assumed the returns process would be straightforward, especially since I wasn’t at fault. The second motherboard arrived, but it had a faulty RAM slot. I didn’t even bother reporting it because I needed a working motherboard, and the anxiety from my first interaction was so stressful. I didn’t want to risk spending $900 on three motherboards. Two months passed without any contact from Scorptec regarding my warranty claim. When I followed up, I received a long-winded response blaming me for the issue and saying they could try and just bend the pins back or come collect the item. I rarely return items, but this experience was an absolute kick in the teeth. I’ve never received such poor customer service, and it left me with a seriously bad impression of the company. I can’t imagine having to return the other faulty motherboard only to be blamed again for manufacturing defects.

good place for computer parts, but make sure you do your research beforehand and bring your list. also, it's a good idea to wear a jumper because these guys love their aircon switched to Arctic.

Just received my office computer Scorptec Hornet Core i7 and I am more than pleased with it fast and runs like a clock from out of the box. Nicely securely packaged on delivery. GREAT!

I Have bought thousands of dollars worth of components from Scorptec in the past 12 months alone. They are my go to place for all things PC related. However after placing an order - I have heard nothing. Phone rings out, messages sent via the account portal go unanswered. It's not the customers fault if your busy over Christmas and New Years, it would be really good if they could respond to concerns about ordered products that have been paid for, were in stock and were supposed to be express post delivered.

Order 3933497 (MSI B650M GAMING PLUS WIFI uATX , AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Thermaltake View 170 TG Snow Micro ATX Case, XFX Quicksilver Radeon RX 7900) ordered 21/12/2024 but delayed due to absence of thermal paste. After a quick call on 31/12/2024, Scorptec - who answer the 'phone quickly and don't have a brain dead IVR, cancelled the thermal paste, and sent the rest that day. Delivered, to my surprised astonishment on 2/1/2025 ! Really, really pleased with the delivery speed, the well informed and helpful customer service, the availability of in-demand performance parts, and ease of ordering/web site. Unreservedly recommended and I will, should opportunities arise, later, look lorward to business with this company in the future. Thank you very much !

Really good and clean spaces

The staff are great here. Really helpful. A big shout-out to Jay Montgomery in the Warranty/Pickup section for his help today, just 2 days before Christmas and the Clayton store really busy Bought an Eaton 5E Gen 2 2200VA/1200 Watt UPS Click & Collect from Scorptec Clayton, to protect my QNAP NAS plus my NBN internet connection & wireless router. It shuts down the NAS safely if there's a power outage (no RAID rebuilding as with a sudden power outage) and restarts the NAS once mains power resumes. Excellent technical advice from Scorptec staff and service at pick-up counter. Always great people to deal with Just picked up a Samsung 870 EVO 1Tb SSD from the Clayton store, which had been recommended by Scorptec online technical help. As always, their advice was good, and Click & Collect service fast and friendly. Covid-safe click and collect, as usual at moment, but the staff were great (as always) and they had my order placed at 4:30pm (two Seagate 8TB NAS drives) ready to pick the same day before they closed. Cannot praise Scorptec Clayton too much. Just went there to drop off a faulty NAS hard drive which was a little over 12 months old. Their website said that warranty items had to be inspected and assessed 'which typically takes 2-4 weeks.' They had a look at it on the spot and at the tests I'd printed out from my pc, and exchanged it for a new one on the spot. A big shout-out to James May 2023 service still great

Great, friendly and helpful staff. I went there to buy an adaptor, after a chat the guy showed me I was getting the wrong one for the type of drive I had and helped me get the correct one.

Great store, freshly renovated. Staff are helpful, even when it's busy. The online Click-Collect option is a fantastic, dedicated service desk for quick pickups is awesome.

Needed a pressie for hubby, they were extremely helpful, had a nice sale on and item was in stock. Andrew was great.

Just your standard click and collect. The guys there don’t look like they like dealing with customers face to face. Don’t expect too much “service”

Instead of fixing the issue I’ve had with a printer I purchased brand new without using it once. They immediately hand balling me towards the manufacturer until now it’s been about a month and a half and still haven’t heard anything back from the manufacture nor Scorptec. One star is well on point.

We often drop in here when their south Melbourne store doesn't have stock as this is on one of our regular routes. Similar to their south Melbourne branch, staff here also have professional ethics, knows what they're doing and are pretty helpful with helping you work out what your best options are. Online ordering system works well in terms of ordering and notifications of when your order is ready and what's needed for pickup. Probably not the cheapest but their service is good so if you need stuff fixed under warranty at least you know it's not another headache to deal with. Free parking available right in front of shop.

If you're planning on doing your own build, don't come here. After researching the parts extensively and figuring out what I need, a staff member convinced me to get a different part as to what I was planning on getting. That's on me let's be real. Now the issue is with the build there clearance for the AIO would've been enough but I was opted to get different size instead. If i'm here to get a part that I want, just give me the part that I ask for simple.

The only reason it’s a 1 star and not 0 is because there isn’t an option. Terrible. Absolutely terrible. Don’t even bother! Go to Centrecom instead. Won’t waste your time and lie about your computer problems. Both IT support blokes seem very uninterested, lazy, and rude. My PSU kept playing up, took it for a look, he said it’s the whole CPU and didn’t try the PSU because of the ones they had… BS! They just didn’t want to take it out and check, wanted me to buy a whole new PC and make a sale. Went to centrecom, replaced the PSU the same day, and now my PC is working great. If you’re looking for PC support, DONT GO HERE! Just go to centrecom or a local business.

They never pick the phone up. Waited nearly 45 minutes and nothing. Ridiculous. Shame because I like their products.

Years of shopping here has always been positive. Sometimes an identical item is a couple of dollars cheaper at a local competitor but the service and support elsewhere will never be as good as here.

Bought pc parts and laptops from here for a long time. Justynn was amazing online and responded within a few hours to my initial queries and was very helpful. He helped pick out parts that worked seamlessly and looked great in a new PC build. The guys in the shop were more than happy to assist to tweak the quote and package it up in 10minutes! The shop is also very cool with recent reno's with heaps of systems and parts available to test out. Highly recommend!

Friendly service, only click and collect though, so can't really say much else..

The customer service from Aaron was unbelievable. His knowledge and support was fantastic. I had a list of items for a build I wanted and he went through each part and made sure I was maximising my performance, my budget and the cool factor. I honestly think this might have been the best customer support I’ve ever experienced.

I have purchased from Scorptec for years now and I love how friendly, professional and helpful the staff have been. It is mostly this customer experience and support which is why I prefer Scorptec over any other store and recommend them for that reason. Recently however, they have introduced a sign in system that has massively diminished that experience as a customer. The system is simply, sign in with your name, order number, and email, then wait for you to be called to one of the counters. Unfortunately, this takes more of my time than simply providing my order number, I am left standing around not knowing what to do or where to go, I am forced to provide my personal details to the company providing this system to be able to pickup my goods, and it places an artificial barrier between myself and the staff that makes me feel the entire interaction is less friendly. If I wanted the VicRoads experience, I would go to VicRoads. It looks like I am going to have diversify where I shop in the future, and order delivery where it can't be avoided. The only reason why it is two stars is because of how good the staff have been over the years.

Brought my PC here for diagnoses after a local shop screwed me around. Daniel identified and rectified the issue quickly without any of the lies and headaches you get elsewhere.

更新:28天了还在厂商维修,厂商修完还要到他们自己店里检测之后再发往门店。 买这家你就当没有售后!!!从我把要维修的物品送到门店到厂商收到用了两个星期,整个维修流程起码一个月,打售后电话三次里面至少有一次是不接的。重要的是你不能饶过零售店直接找厂商维修!一台电脑起码用三四年,出点问题要维修是很正常的,买这家一旦遇到质保问题就会被售后拖死!!! ====================== 这家售后太离谱了。千万别买!!! 我买了一套零件自己装机之后亮不了机,排查发现主板上面的cpu针脚有一根是弯的。去找Scorptec售后,他们坚决不承认产品可能有问题。说如果我安装前没检查拍照证明产品有问题。而且就算当时检查了,只要我尝试安装过cpu,针脚弯了就是我的问题,他们是不可能保修的。然后让我付149刀维修费(买一块主板才300多),说要送到厂商那边去修,让我回家等2-4周。 后续维修也很离谱。我付款的时候跟他们说这个主板我急用,希望他们可以修快一点。当时门店的人也承诺会帮我加急。但是我等了10天没消息,打电话去催之后,第二天收到了这个主板才刚刚被寄给厂商的消息。等到第三周厂商才收到主板。期间我多次打他们家售后电话询问进度,才知道我把主板送到门店,他们拖延了整整一周之后才发到他们自己的库房,再过了几天才发到厂商。 现在已经18天过去了,我询问售后还是没有收到任何更新的消息。

One star for guy at counter serving otherwise the atmosphere in this place is toxic lol i mean there were all men i could see during my visit.

On August 20th, 2024, I purchased a Fractal Design Define Mini C. Upon inspecting the item, I found that the front panel clip kit was faulty. I returned the product on August 21st, 2024, but the return or repair was declined. The model is 8 years old and was initially priced at $149, now reduced to $79 for clearance. No other retailers are selling this model, and the plastic component has become brittle and prone to cracking. CBA issued the refund via credit card dispute on 23rd August 2024.

Great Service and knowledge from the Staff here. Went in and spoke with Aki about an issue I had for a lap top dock solution for a gaming laptop and he really took the time to understand my requirements and offer his genuine sincere knowledge for the best solution rather than just sell me something I didn't really need. Staff members with attitudes like this are a massive credit to the business! 👌

Wanted to follow up for an order that hasn't been processed for 2 business days, however no one even bother to answer the phone. Never be purchasing again in this store.

Brought a meta quest 3 512gb. Had overheating issues with that. Called up about it got told bring it back we will refund you ok sweet. I travel 2 hours to do so get there and get told there are no notes we will send it off for testing it will be a few days. I got told there would be told a note left to straight up refund but apparently not. Regret spending money to build my 2.5k rig through them never again

Showroom is great, staff are very knowledgeable. Aki, Xin & Jay were a massive help when I went to buy a new gaming PC. 10/10. Great work to the Scorptec Clayton team.

The product range is not as extensive or as cheap as other stores (never mind online) but this isn't a shop, it's just a click and collect hub. That might not be so bad if the website could just work or when it didn't, the shop could just work with you to make an order. Not for the first time, Scorptec let several hundred dollars walk from the shop. The customer service can be good but is hit and miss. Some staff are pretty good/knowledgeable but some are just gamers having a bash at it living their dream of working in a computer shop, armed with a maximum of six weeks TAFE training and have difficulty computing (excuse the pun) that someone might not spend $4000 every year for a new machine and that people might not be working with absolute top tech for every task. The opening hours are pretty poor and somehow they always have queues when all they need to do is hand boxes over given their business model. To conclude, there are worse. It boils down to how quickly you need something, how cheap, how big a selection or whether you want a gamble on a shop where there is some customer service (albeit hit and miss) so you at least have somewhere to visit. 2/5 is I think about right.

First time dealing with Scorptec and the service was absolutely fantastic Aaron was very professional and highly recommend there products .

My last Scorptec desktop finally died after 10 years, so I've just bought my next one. The techs were kind enough to turn the LEDs off for me before I picked her up, and she's running smooth, quick and quiet!

I came to this store looking to build a PC and spoke with Daniel. He was super helpful and set me up with everything I needed. He understood what I was aiming for in the build and chose parts that hit the mark whilst not blowing out in price.

I needed a mesh WiFi system, and he waved his magic tech wand to guide me through the options with a smile that could light up a server room. Sin was so incredibly helpful that I half expected him to offer me a cup of kopi and a side of satay while we chatted about routers. If you need tech help and a good laugh, Sin's your guy. I wish i can take that 1 star off too. I needed to buy a charger urgently so i placed a click and collect order. Went to pick it up the same day. Was told that the item is out of stock. If it was out of stock then why did the website show it in stock!? And why was i able to go through the checkout process and pay for the item!? They wasted my time. For the refund they said will take time. Would never ever purchase anything from scorptec.

Beware Branded Systems - I approached Scorptec relating to a failed ASUS graphics card in a system I bought from them on 27 June 2022 (yes the system was a week out of warranty!). Scorptec said that as the system was a branded ASUS gaming system the entire computer needed to be returned to assess the problem - not just the card. I advised that as the system was being used for work it was not feasible to return it for possibly 2-4 weeks, however they would still not accept the card individually. I was asked to contact ASUS directly for a possible solution, however they put it back in Scorptec's hands for resolution. At this stage I cannot return the card on its own and I can't loose the entire system for the period needed - hence I am going to purchase a new card (not ASUS) to keep the system in use. I recommend not buying a branded system unless you are OK losing the whole thing for up to four weeks. Disappointing.

Update: Scorptec support team were helpful and sending the missing item to the store for me to pickup, still very annoying but atleast they are attempting to fix their mistake. After waiting in a long line on the weekend and double checking with staff that the product has all parts as described on their website, I was assured it did. Now that I've opened it, it most definitely does not - missing thumb nuts. Will have to go back to get it sorted... 😖

Scorptec is the best

Went to the shop looking to get a new Keychrone keyboard, was immediately greeted by a friendly staff, Aaron, who helped me out straight away. Had a question about some differences between the keyboards, he was able to provide great insight with depth of knowledge of the product & was completely upfront + honest about the products, not trying to sell you the most expensive product just to make a sale.... Ultimately, I got what I wanted and couldn't be happier with the product, thanks to his recommendation & assistance. Smooth transacation, flawless and excellent customer service. Highly recommend and can't go wrong with this computer shop!!!

Great service and support.

Great place to shop for IT. Great service. Staff are very knowledgable. There are plenty of free car parking spots for customers as well. When ever there is warranty related issues it get handle smoothly. This is their head office. Has a click and collect section and seperate onsite ordering team. They have recently done extensive renovation to upgrade the store to an experience store. What Scorptec up their presentation to their customers and no other company has done this. Very impressive.

Many years ago I stopped coming here but i had just noticed their prices are quite good now very competitive. The presentation when you wall in is very well done. Customer service was polite.

I'm really happy with the level of Customer Service. I was supported in my purchase by Aki who went above and beyond to make sure I was purchasing the right tech for the correct product. Very happy will definitely return.
