Bought a cpu cooling unit and a thermal paste, did the job and the price was reasonable. The employees were very welcoming aswell, only downside was the 10day waiting period for the technician there which i do understand cos of the high demand. Otherwise a good spot to get your Pc needs sorted out.

Got a CatC 20m cable from here much cheaper than Officeworks and great service to match from Hayden. Very helpful advice on other products too - security cameras dual display cables, routers repeaters etc.

Recently had issues with a newly purchased Pc , I returned it as per HP issuing me a credit . Dang and the rest of the team were extremely helpful and efficient .. sorted out everything for me !! Highly recommend

The team at Frankston Centrecom are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They also doubled the size of their store some time back so their range is great too!

Purchased a Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor from the Frankston store in April. Monitor developed scan lines after 4 months. As per the Australian Consumer Law, this is a major fault. Store refused to do anything except for repair, even after I showed them the ACL website and requesting a refund as per my right. Also, after a Google search, this is a common issue with Samsung monitors, which I also advised. They would not budge and only offerred repair. They do not care about Australian Laws, and now I am out of a monitor for my computer waiting for a repair where most likely the issue will reoccur. They've lost me as a customer and will be reporting them to the Department of Fair Trading and ACCC. Having a look at other reviews, this seems to be the norm for them.

I bought a display port adaptor that didn't serve its purpose as the bit rate was slightly too low for my application. I was concerned this might be the case and asked one of the staff members about returns. I was assured by this staff member that I was able to return the product to him on a weekend when he was working, and provided I was careful with it he'd waive the repackaging fee. After realising that it wasnt working correctly I came in to return it. The sales member didn't make eye contact and moved away from the counter, his colleague then questioned me redundantly as to why I wanted to return a product before forensically scrutinising the packaging for signs of damage. I sensed that for whatever reason they didn't want to honor their word, perhaps in the presence of their managers. I asked that I be charged the 15% fee instead of waiting any longer. I have been advised customer here since 2008 and between the indifference to customer service and incompetent advice for computer parts. I'll gladly make the drive to scorptec or wait a few hours for Amazon delivery. I dont care about $2.85 unfortunately, some of the staff at centercom frankstons greed exceeds their decency.

Brought a laptop from this business that completely failed after 2 years. Centrecom stopped selling this brand in the meantime and intern gave no support at all in trying to get the unit repaired then once I succumbed to the fact that I would need to bite the bullet and buy a new unit Centrecom were unhelpful and said 2 years was about right for a laptop. 2 year catastrophic failure is worthy of Vcat application under anti lemon law though Centrecom could not care less, even when I just wanted some assistance in buying a new unit! Going back to spending my money at major retailer on my new unit

Incredibly disappointed of the lack of customer support or empathy. Was sold a headset less than a week ago , assured it was great quality for the price “my girlfriend uses this one and we both think the quality of the microphone and audio is great!” I was unsure and was suggesting other options like A50 etc. but I was assured that the quality for price was excellent! Instead of going for the different headset model I’d gone in for, I decided with staff assurance that this headset was similar quality if not better. When I purchased I was also told I can refund if it wasn’t to standard, unaware that this meant faulty. Instead when I arrived home to try out this headset the quality was worse than my $20 headset I’d owned previously. I set out today to return the headset I had used just once and was told they cannot do anything for me, not even store credit. I’ve been a loyal returning customer of the Frankston store, spending over $5000 at times when building my new pc. They will no longer be getting my money, incredibly disappointed that not any sympathy was shown or resolution to my issue.

Things have changed at Centrecom spoke to a gentleman by the name Corey Very polite, enthusiastic young man served me faster than you could order a coffee these days. Really appreciate your service Corey well done

Really friendly staff that are very knowledgeable and don't judge when you have little understanding of this ambiguous world of technology. I went around 12 times to talk about my pc I wanted to build and at the latter half when I would come in staff would instantly pick up the conversation on where it left last time. This made this whole experence very welcoming and I would enjoy knowing that I would go here and spend 30 minutes talking to enthusiastic people about something I was equally passionate about. I'm genuinely disappointed that I've built my pc and don't have a regular reason to go. I would reccomend if there is anything tech related to go here, as other shops one person will say one thing, and another staff member will say something different, but at centercom everyone says the correct information.

I met Đang at the Dreamhack event, and even though I don’t know much about PCs, talking with him made me feel completely at ease. He genuinely cared about me as a customer. I shared the games I currently play and the ones I’d like to try in the future, and one thing led to another—I ended up purchasing an amazing custom-built PC from him! I highly recommend speaking with Đang if you’re interested in a custom build.

Send in my pc for fault check due to dead psu. Service desk was reluctant to see me. Told me he cannot check my power supply as its attached to my pc. I said ok I'll pull it out for u. He then told me he cannot lend me his tools. On top of that scared me with a 200 check and test fee. And then extra 40 if the item is not faulty. He then proceeded to say I can only come back on Monday. As service desk is not open on the weekends. I went to my car with one screwdriver I got the power supply out. Then another kind sales man helped me. Tested my psu within 4 minutes gave me an answer. Yes it's faulty. So I replaced it. The lousy worker was I think feng or Cheng. Asian,hair middle part. Fake Jordan's probably in his late 20s. Fire this dude. Waste of company resources. I would be a btr technician easy. I wanted to give one star but the nice sales man helped solved this. So 2 stars

Alex was the rudest person, even after one of the other assistants had agreed to help me, Alex said that it could not be done, unless he charged $100 to look at memory I just bought from them worth just over $400. I am now ready to purchasing HW for a Top Spec.AI rig which is coming to around $12,000 .. BUT In All Honesty I WILL NOT be going to Centre com Frankston to buy the HW - Thanks to you Alex you cost Centre Com business coming to them.

Alex was the most rude and downright unprofessional manager I have ever met. Even his co-workers seemed embarrassed to be seen working with him. Went to another Centre Com store and had my issue fixed instantly. Will never be coming back here again.

Went in for a new upgrade, after talking to the staff I ended up saving on a few suggested items by at least 200 bucks. Not only did I save but the build request came out super clean and was ready in no time. Would go back in my next upgrade. Who's got two thumbs and a kick ass new rig? .... This guy!

Will was very helpful and knowledgeable, fast and efficient - same with staff from the pickup area. Very friendly. No pressure sales. Knowledgeable and they don't use sales tactics. Very good pricing, bought a laptop and saved almost $2000 less then RRP. Staff were great to talk to over phone and compare prices / laptops. Will be coming back for future computing needs 😁

Had our main computer fail bringing our business to halt. Despite it being the weekend, Cory and the crew bent over backwards to get me going again. Cant thank the team at centre com enough.

I was so confused about adding a mesh to my existing wifi 7 router. One of the store person Wil calmly approached me and explained the mesh system and also helped me to buy the mesh that suits my needs. Thanks Wil. I have a super fast wifi network at home.

This company is advertising products they don’t have. I went in to find a replacement monitor cord only to be told by a smug salesman, we only stock USB connectors and not the pin type. Wasn’t one bit interested in helping any further. I wouldn’t recommend this store.

This is not a store review, it's for the company. Bought some parts to build my gaming rig which I worked 6 months while paying for my student loans for. it was an absolutely excruciating experience. after all that I decided to build it myself because I've done it several times before with no issue at all. After assembling, I installed the OS and the drivers and suddenly a BSOD... like literally, I couldn't get the sys to post, plus the USB slots weren't getting power. I tried everything from my end to no avail and finally decided to go give it to them because 1. I brought the parts from them and 2. they are qualified technicians, im just a broke college student so that's the story Here's the best part, once I came in and handed over the rig they asked me for a $110 HARDWARE DIAGNOSTICS FEE UP FRONT???? HELLO???? I was 90% sure it was an issue with the motherboard and I could have gotten a new one for the same price!!! AND I WAS UNDER WARRANTY because I just bought the parts 2 days before. Just cause I fixed it myself means I made a mistake???? Anyhow, I paid, handed it to them and waiting for an update. I'll let you guys know what's up. btw centercom... im never coming back. go fly a kite.

Store needs a refresher on ACCC refunds exchange products right to a refund, repair or return under Australian law. Can we all agree the customer should never be made to feel as if they are doing something wrong by returning a product and searching for resolution. Poor experience

Would not recommend purchasing through this company. Brand new laptop playing up within days of purchase follow up to resolve this issue poor. Wondering if I was sold a refurbished rather than new product. Difficult to contact management to resolve complaint and very long delays for maintenance and fixing the issue

Great service from staff with helpful and considered advice. Lindsay helped us out with a mesh router system and put a lot of effort into making sure we got the right system for our needs. Been back several times for various products. Will go back again.

Wanted a specific accessory for my computer and told them i am not a computer expert, so i asked a young guy ( no personality whatsoever ) to be shown a $60+ option. When i asked if there was a more affordable option i was told no. I then asked a different staff member for the same thing ( now i sounded like a knew what i needed ) to be told yeah of course there is, which was sub $30. After the act of trying to rip me off being a customer with no idea, i then went to Officeworks and got the same thing for $10 with a friendly smile from their staff. Really poor form to be ripped off due to my lack of knowledge and maybe hire some staff with personality and people skills.

I was looking at video editing laptops yesterday. The sales person who assisted me, George, came across as a person who is deeply passionate about his job. As a result of his enthusiasm and patience in explaining the minimum specs that a particular system would require, I can now make an informed decision. No question at all, all of the staff at the Frankson store are knowledgeable and helpful.

Was in today picking up a few items and I was served by this tall guy called Will. He was extremely helpful and provided great advice. Thanks for providing such great customer service, keep up the good work.

Never been to a store with worse customer service and a lack of professionalism. Bought an expensive gaming laptop with multiple issues and got told by an obnoxious staff member that it was my problem essentially. Extremely unhelpful and now I am left with a large $1,899 brick. Thanks

Avoid. Purchased a monitor that wasn't what I was expecting (bright in the middle but dull around the sides) and wanted to change it over for something else (more expensive). Even though everything was exactly the same in the box (cables never unwrapped, packaging all 100% in-tact, nothing ripped etc) they charged a 15% restocking fee. It was either that, or a $69 fee and 30-day wait for someone to assess for warranty. Really petty. The lack of flexibility, inability to compromise and the excessive time taken have all left a bad taste. I won't shop here again as I fear that I would never be able to have peace of mind about a purchase.

Do yourself a favour, go somewhere the staff like their jobs! 15% restocking fee to upgrade instore on the same day as purchase! The photos only show half the store, the other half looks like a dump, and you even get to smell the reheated lunch the staff are eating while you shop (and don't expect any help).

Avoid at all cost, use Amazon or office works.

THIS IS NOT A REVIEW OF THE STORE. This is a review of the company policies. All of the staff at the store 100% agree that your policies are an absolute joke. Trying to charge a ‘restocking fee’ for a mouse pad purchased hours before, in brand new perfect packaging is ridiculous. They also had to charge me a diagnostic and repair fee for a faulty motherboard. The motherboard was found to be faulty from the manufacturer, but because I assembled the pc, “those are the rules”. I then pointed out on the docket that it stated a very different price in the fine print for diagnostic work. Seriously centrecom, sort it out! Also beware that during sales periods, they just decide to implement new temporary policies, stopping all returns!

I purchased a Lenovo laptop and a 2TB m.2 for upgrade purposes last week. I cloned the 2Tb drive and wanted to install it myself, as I have done for numerous computers and older laptops, but this one was giving me some problems opening it. I didn't want to do any damage so I called into the Frankston store today to seek advice on how to remove the rear cover. I spoke to Dang in the Service Dept, who was fantastic. He showed me how to remove the base and assisted in putting in the new 2TB m.2. At all times he was explaining what and how he was doing things and I am forever grateful for his assistance and advice. I have been coming to Centre Com for more than 10 years and it's because of people like Dang that I keep coming back as well referring my friends and family to come here for all their computing needs. Thanks Dang, you made my day mate!

Staff are great, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about all things PC The manager on the otherhand is a total tool, belittling staff in front of customers and refusing to honour advertised price on an item Enjoy the ACCC reports and fines my guy I will never go back while he is managing that store

Was quoted $150 for a windows install and 3 week wait time or an additional $150 for “priority service” and get it 1-2 weeks (5 minute job) I just don’t have a second laptop or pc to do on my own

I can't get over how good the workers at seaford centre com where. They have so much knowledge and help me and my son out with a issue we had on his pc. I appreciate then going above and beyond. I will never go anywhere else due to the level they went with our issue

Absolute legends down there, young guy (I’m sorry I forgot your name) waited for a few minutes while I rambled on about hard drives trying to remember what I was looking for and was very patient with me. Then after built my PC with the parts I got from their store, I went back to pick up a keyboard and monitor and the guy from the workshop area helped me find the right monitor and was really knowledgeable, and the cool dude with the long dark hair who always has the best music playing served me on the way out and was just a nice dude. These guys will be my go to computer store for as long as they stay like this 👍

Wonderful customer service at Centre Com Seaford. Couple years ago I bought an MSI gaming laptop from them, and recently walked in with no appointment into the store as my laptop screen just stopped working. They were more than happy to take a look at my laptop and gave great advice on how to solve my screen problem, and even followed up with MSI directly on my behalf. Thank you!

A great one stop shop for almost all your computer needs. Aidyn and the other staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and eager to help if you have any concerns. Warranty and service is done onsite which I consider a major plus. This is my third laptop purchase in as many years. I would have no hesitation in recommending Centre Com for all your computer needs .

I phoned centre com as I thought I had been hacked, I was told to bring my laptop into the shop. When I got there I saw Jeremy who was very helpful had a look after a time he said my laptop was ok . How relieved I was, I can't thank him enough.

I am an old guy with very limited computer skills. I have had two problems with my HP Laptop that the boys here solved as if by magic. I cannot rate them high enough. Courteous helpful and obliging. Values that are very rare these days.

Been here a couple of times, always super helpful when it came to helping sort parts that work all together PC wise. Purchased a keyboard along with a key cap set today, everything clicked together smoothly and works a treat, cheers lads! Edit: Went back just today and got another keyboard, this time grabbing a empty base with some key switch's and some key caps to put together myself, went together smoothly and types even smoother, thanks again lads! (that damned cyberpunk notification noise will haunt me!)
